I think I've mentioned I have a crush on Frosty.
I thought I would try something different and use my Prisma pencils on craft card stock. I love how this turned our and I'm already rummaging up more craft paper and planning my next card.
When Power Power sent an email previewing this image, I could hardly wait to make him mine.
Frosty was framed with Memory Box Stitched Square Layers. All the dies used here are from Memory Box: Star of Wonder, Beloved Stars and Small Poinsettia.
I did color the stars and the Poinsettia spray with Tombow makers but everything else was done with Prisma pencils.
Power Poppy has a challenge right now to choose a past challenge. I chose Time to rewind - Pencil Me In.

Oh, stop it! You are giving me inspiration overload with your cards! LOVE the coloring on Kraft. Been wanting to try that with my pencils. This turned out so fabulous! AND love how you've colored your die cuts. Lately I've been cutting my dies just to see what they look like and then coloring them when ready. Amazing how the die cuts look with marker coloring on kraft, too. Wow! Got to try this. Thanks for playing again, Gail!
This is very pretty. I love the look of the white on Kraft. The embellishments are perfect.
AWESOME! Never would have thought of Kraft paper but it makes a "wow" card! Love the coloring and the embossed background! One of your best Christmas cards and THAT is saying a lot!

I really like this card done with Prismacolor pencils on kraft paper. Add me to the list of fans who will be trying this idea. Do you have any special hints or suggestions for us "first timers"? I am also curious as to why you switched from Prisma's to Tombow markers for the flower and stars? Looks like you had the red's down perfect on the bird and scarf. Thanks for sharing.
