Was Jesus the only one that suffered on Good Friday?
Well... many would say... the Father didnt suffer... the spirit didnt suffer... only Jesus was on the cross.. so only Jesus suffered...
BUT! it is not true... the Holy Trinity suffered greatly at the crucifixion... Yes! even the Holy Spirit!
God the Father suffered seeing his Son on that cross... his only son on that cross... crucified by his chosen people.. the people he made... the people he came down for... God the Father suffered the lost of his son...
the Holy Spirit suffered seeing the Father and the Son seperated from each other...
The Most Holy Trinity was truly present at the crucifixion... The trinity did suffer!
Next, on the cross... Jesus said.. 'i thirst' John19:28
well, we hear Jesus' i thirst... yes indeed i thirst for your commitmen... i thirst for your faithfulness... i thirst for your whole being... i thirst for you staying like my father as you were moulded like my father... do you quench his thirst? for that he died too!
