Jesus emptied himself and died as a criminal on the cross for our sake... therefore, if we exalt ourselves... we are disgracing the person who died on the cross for us... JESUS...
for those who humbles himself will be exalted.... and for those who exalts himself..will be humbled!

the phrase "forgive and forget"... that is a secular phrase... nothing to do with the christian faith... if we want to forgive... first... we must not forget... we must remember the fault in order to forgive... and after we forgive... our mind would normally not forget... it doesnt matter if we forget or not... but if we remember... we remind ourselves that we have forgave that person and that this fault has no power over the relationship with that person...
