Mark your calendars for Friday, April 13, from 5pm-9pm. Most of the classes will be held in the cultural hall, with a couple in the kitchen and a couple that traipse outside for steps that involve spray paint. This evening will be tons of fun, and we encourage everyone to come. As always, feel free to invite friends and neighbors. If the class and craft offerings aren't appealing to you, or you simply feel like you have too many unfinished projects at home to justify starting new ones, please, BRING YOUR OWN CRAFT that night. You can work on it while socializing with other sisters.
For a new twist, we will be setting up a display area for you to bring projects, samples and pictures of any and all projects and crafts you've been working on at home over the past few months. This will be an area where you can SHOW OFF your unique style and creativity. The more participation we have with this, the better. This is an opportunity for everyone to learn from eachother in a nonthreatening way. You don't have to teach a class, just bring your projects to display.
As usual, we will be having a potluck dinner this evening. Since it's a spring craft night, we will be having salads, fruits, rolls and yummy munchies. Look for sign-up sheets in the coming weeks.
There will also be no children's class this night. Please make other arrangements for your children.
You can sign up for classes and crafts on this blog by making a comment at the end of the post or on the sign-up sheets which will be out in the foyer by the Bishop's office every Sunday. All classes are free, but please sign-up anyway so that our teachers can prepare the proper number of handouts. Also, if you are signing up for crafts, please be considerate and get your money to either the teacher, Laura P. or Leslie Y. quickly so that the teachers can purchase the needed supplies in a timely manner.
