THE SMILE WORKSHOPS TOUR !

Hi !

I'm glad to announce my next series of workshops entitled the SMILE WORKSHOPS! To get the season off to a good start, we will focus on the smile expression! Pleasure, sociability, happiness, joy or amusement, what kind of feeling to you want to depict in your sculptures? Do you prefer dimple smile, laughtling smile, smirk and smug smile, tight lips smile, grinning smile or half smile?
Just come with your concepts and ideas or follow my instructions onsite to create a character with a cool smiling expression!
I hope to see you during one of the following classes!

COURSES CONTENTS:

- Romain Van den Bogaert will share with the students his process to design and sculpt a smiling portrait of a fantasy character, from the basic forms to the finest details.

- Students will learn how to follow a structured sculpting process and learn head and neck anatomy in details.

- Anatomy and design will be discussed using educational references and examples. Students will learn how to make an smiling character and how to make varied textures (wrinkles of the skin, hairs, fur, horns etc. ..).

- The course is designed to meet both the needs of beginners as experienced sculptors.

- Many resin casts of Romain's personal range as well as complete toolkits are available for sale
