A three year old's cake!

Another fun birthday cake for a friend. It turned out delicious. The '3' is chocolate fondant on top of butter cream, over a moist chocolate cake. I'm glad I get to make cakes and try some too. I'm getting better at gauging the time it takes to put them together and learning helpful tricks that come with practice.

Family

In May, Mom and Dad Post and our little nephew came to visit. We had a lot of fun working on the house and playing. Here is Grammers and little miss painting each others nails. I love my mother-in-law. She is amazing. She gives never-ending service to her family. I appreciated her help and am still enjoying the byproduct of her service to us.

Remember Handy Randy?  Yep that's Man of the house's dad. No wonder, right. Both really handy. Here they are installing our french door. We love them.

These two are eight months apart and are the best of friends.

One of the most enjoyable adventures was our visit to Houston. Here are pictures from the Space Center in Houston (Hubby is a rocket scientist). Look how happy he is trying to land a space shuttle.
 Lifting weights
He just found this hole. I don't think it is meant to be crawled through but I thought it was cute anyway.
Team effort to launch a rocket.
Yummy...that's grandparents for ya. Ice cream in the hotel room. It was good. Even in May it was warm. Which was perfect for the beach the next day. (The Gulf of Mexico)
This was so much fun. Warm water! Hubby and I wadded farther than I can ever remember going in the pacific. Little guy stayed with Grammers on the beach while we played in the water.

 They loved it!

This last one is for Grammers. She insisted this picture was entitled
"Shopping with Aunt Jennie."
I'm really not that bad...I just take my time to make wise shopping choices. She's right though.
