Huston, Santa has landed
One long exposure and quite a few flashes around the chopper. Why oh why I didn't make one for the foreground snowflakes? Taken by Vladimir Krzalic in Serbia

Ava Lansch
Today we skied in thick fog and I suddenly noticed these 'terraces' of ice and snow just 5 meters above my head - and I instantly thought this could be a 'wannabe' avalanche. This is right above a busy ski route, so I wondered how this was allowed by the (otherwise so professional and efficient) Austrian operators of SkiWelt... Perhaps shows how much I (don't) understand snow and ice :) Taken by maistora

Sunny Winter Sunday
"Snow means more than delays in reaching your destination on the highways, snow and winter also mean exercise, fun, fresh air, childish memories, and even water reserves for the summer season. Read all about how Norwegians enjoy a winter day here". Taken by RennyBA

To the Northern Lands We Go...
"Kirkenes, the capital of Sør-Varanger municipality in the northernmost country; Finnmark, is located as far north-east as possible in Norway (70º north - 30 º east). The municipality has about 10 000 inhabitants spread over a territory of 3.670 km2 and borders both to Russia and Finland. The nature is different from the rest of Norway. There are many eastern plant-species growing in the municipality that are rare or non existent in other parts of Norway.
They have a Reindeer Park with a Lavvu or Sami tent: Of course walking around these tamed reindeer and feeding them (they eat reindeer moss) is exotic, even for a Norwegian". Taken by RennyBA
