We just had our annual SFIC/IFFS Xmas meet up n gifts exchange last Sun. I was somewhat appointed the organiser by Eric. And I was definitely disappointed with the turnout. The date was confirm in November which is very very early.. and everyone gave their choice of the date, 11 or 18 Dec and of cos when decided.. everyone should make themselves available on that date rite? Or make arrangements to be free on that date rite? NO LOR.. ppl can last min say gt to take care of kids, got wedding to attend to, MIA and got other plans.. SIANZ! I mean I know ur kids are impt but surely handling them over to someone else for a few hrs is not that difficult mah.. and can make plans for it one wat.. n if tat is the case, just come with the kids lor.. Not like we are anti-kids.. so disappointing.. i understand ur situation but i can be disappointed in ur planning right? Kids are impt and so are frens..

And dun talk abt the last min wedding ting............................................. WHERE GOT PPL LAST MIN GIVE WEDDING INVITE ONE?????????????????????????????? This is just a case of someone forgetting they gt wedding invite wat!!!!! Then in that case, say so n we can change in advance mah!!!!!!!

And the stupid MIA one still havent reply why he MIA.. wah liao...

And the got other plans one.. i dunno wat to say... i guess u too popular liao.. too many events.. cannot blame..

All in all.. I guess this post is to tell myself that.. when ppl leave a place.. they leave u also.. last time can see each other 5 days a week.. eat lunch 5 days a week.. now wanna eat dinner once a year also difficult.. and also to tell myself.. dun be gay kiang, u wan to meet ppl doesnt mean ppl wanna meet u.. if they wanna meet u, they will make effort..

Yesterday we went for our wedding photo shoot.. The night before we are packing like mad cos we need to bring quite a fair bit of stuff as we are going into the water at Kota Tinggi. And bf need to iron his shirt and pants for the next day. We woke up pretty early and we pack up our things, went for breakfast and we headed into JB. We arrived on the dot at 1130am and there was another couple already there doing the make up and such. I overheard the bride saying she is only 22.. Wah so young but she look old leh.. Haha.. So finally it is my turn, well, my make up was more towards the natural look.. as natural as could be with 2 layers of fake eyelashes.. and she curled my hair and pinned some fake flowers at the back.. we then left the shop at 2pm sharp to head toward kota tinggi.

First stop is Macs for me n bf to fuel up for the long day ahead.. and we also went to a petrol station to buy a bottle of mineral water. Then it is another half hr of bumpy ride.. and we reached a rubber plantation.. the photographer told us that this place is infested with mosquitos so we go to cheong out there.. quickly take and cheong back.. and so we opened the door and dashed out.. and the mosquitos were out in full force!! We can see swarms of mosquitos around us when we are doing the poses.. then I suddenly got a big slap on my back! The assistant slapped my back and genna 4 mosquitos at one go!! Power.. after the shoot at that place, bf showed me his bites.. 2 big ones on his hand, one on his eyelid.. guess his single eyelid is so attractive that the mosquitos cannot resist!

After that we go to a mini kelong for the next shoot.. the owner is a malay family and we gave them RM50 for the use of their boat.. haha.. the boat does not have any paddles.. how he maneuver the boat is by the wire he tied at the ends of the boats and pulling them back to the shore.. so if the wire drops into the water.. we got to swim back liao.. HAHA.. the wonderful thing about yesterday photoshoot is that the weather is perfect! It was not sunny but there was sunlight, it was not raining but it was cooling. So it is quite enjoyable at the outdoor places.

Last stop is the Kota Tinggi waterfall.. the waterfall was quite powerful because I think last few days it had been raining so lots of water are gushing down.. the photographer said so. We took some pictures of me around the waterfall and then we changed into the last outfit of the day.. the one that we need to go into the water.. SO EXCITING!! HAAHAHA... the water is super cold lor.. and it is around 5plus by then. So it is not like mid afternoon with warm sunlight.. but good thing is that.. a lot of people had left by then. So we have to move onto the rocks near the waterfall and the rocks in the water is slippery!!! If we fell and hit our head.. tats it. No more wedding.. HAHA.. So me and bf had a hard time moving from rock to rock and when we are in the water, we had a hard time getting into a right position cos the rocks in the water are too slippery to stand on and we had to stand on sand and pebbles and they are not stable enough.. wah.. real hard work! And the poses the photographer asked for.. very difficult ah.. body turn to the right and head turn to the left.. machiam doing yoga.. bf had a hard time maintaining his smile after the 2nd place.. he is tired liao.. haha

But it is a memorable experience.. thank God for fantastic weather and protection from the mosquitos (for me)!

I am such a fangirl.. I dreamt of the super duper cute idol from super junior last night. I hugged him in the dream n I even asked him what make up brand he used. Oh n I had a chance to smell him up close. He smelled of clean soap smell. Not using any cologne. Oh n I asked him which snsd girls did he went out with.. Haha..

In the dream, we went to a cafe to chill n even if people recognise him they don't care cos the hotel is too high class. Haha n he was not feeling well so asked for orange juice n warm water. I asked for coke. N the stupid waitress from china couldn't understand. Haiz.. Oh then suddenly a even bigger political star appeared in the cafe with swarms of fans n that idol took pic of him.. Haha n he posted it on twitter. This dream is almost as good as the dream I had abt Andy lau n zai zai..

Oh n I hanged out with his other group mates as well. And in the dream, I have a bf already.. Guess Zw is always at the background haunting me.. I rem I had a bf cos I was thinking I am spending time wif idol, won't bf look for me. Then I realize it is a weekday afternoon n he won't call me at work. I am an expert in cheating in my dreams !

My mum was hospitalised for one day on Wed.. It gave us all quite a
shock.. And all of us went down to see her after work. The problem
with NUH is that they took tons of hours to get her a ward/bed!! She
was admitted in the afternoon around 2plus then she finally got a bed
around 9+ at nite! What the heck right?!? Wat's more when we reach NUH
after work we are not able to talk to her or see her cos she is in the
emergency area.. I mean.. she so old liao and she cant speak english
and she doesnt know anyone.. why cant we talk to her? Wat if.. i mean
wat if.. those were her last hrs there? Then we cant communicate with
her at all?!?! I asked the nurse, what if she is hungry, she said they
will give patients food in the area. Then i asked wat if she wan to
talk to us? She said she has a phone she can call u. Then i said she
has no phone, then she said the nurse will call you.. Shit man! Then
nvm, they cannot tell us wat is the issue with her. They said
suspected stroke.. STROKE is serious leh!!! Yet!! She is not given a
bed til 7 hrs later..

Singapore hospital facilities really need to be upgraded and
improved.. and after all the hooha.. my mum was discharged and she is
not diagnosed with anything.. she was just weak cos she havent had her
lunch thus she was walking with difficulty.. CHEY! But thank God
nothing happen to her la..

She is now back at home and she is back to normal. Only perhaps now
she gt to eat before she go down to walk..

I HAVE GOT A NEW JOB!! Yeah! God is good!

Actually this is really a miracle.. Because when I sent out my resume
to the company, I did it halfheartedly because it is a Chinese
company. But I thought, what the heck, just give it a try! Then there
was no sound from them for about a month. Then last week, one guy
called me and he spoke to me in halting English before changing it to
Hong Kong accented mandarin. When he mentioned the company name, I was
like did I send it out? Then politely, I told him can he please send
me an sms on the company name and the company address so I can get
back to him and at the same time research on the company. And so with
my trusty iphone, i search for the company background and the position
I applied for. And I thought and prayed about it on the way home and
finally I messaged the guy and told him i can meet him the next day.
And it was like fated cos I wanted to meet him in the morning but the
interview I had in the morning was delayed and I cant meet him in time
so I took another half day off so that I can meet him in the
afternoon. And he was nice enough to wait for me cos I am late by
10mins cos I cant find the carpark entrance!

We had a nice chat. He tested my mandarin by giving me some sentences
in mandarin and asked me to translate to english. it is a good thing
that I had training in my current company.. haha.. And 2 days later he
msged me to ask me to go for 2nd interview with his boss the GM. And
the last weekend was our Church Arise and Build and I really gave in
faith not knowing if I will land the job by Jan.. And true enough God
is good and during that interview, the GM seems nice and he seems to
like me and when I asked the crucial qns, when can i know if I am
selected, he said today.. and in fact now.. and he talked to me about
my expected salary. He said he can give me my full expected salary
after my probation. Before that he will give me $200 less.. Of cos I
said that will be fine.. 3 months only.. I CAN WAIT! And they can wait
for me to start in Jan.. What else can I ask for.. Oh.. and the
position is a jump.. it is a Marketing Manager position.

Really God is good.. He really gave me all those things that I prayed
for. This i will keep in my heart all the time, when I am faithless, I
will remember this and be full of faith again!

Bf will b going to bkk for the next 3 days.. I will miss him immensely.. Actually I really dun sleep well unless he is next to me. Guess I am scared of the dark.. Haha.. Well I hate watching horror n ghost movies.. So it is kinda obvious rite? I'm fine with doing new, dangerous n exciting stuff but I'm a pansy with regards to creepy scary ghost stories or movies.. I tink I have a too active imagination..

Haiz.. It is only 2 nights without him so I guess u have to bear it la..

Just change the outlook of my blog.. decided to add in some stuff and remove some stuff.. it is much simpler now to edit and maintain your blog and there is so much stuff that you can add in.

I went for an interview yesterday and it was quite ok. The GM is quite a nice person and he is quite humble. He does not behave or talk like a GM and the way he interviewed me is like he doesnt even know what to ask me or talk to me about! There were spots of awkward silence which I then asked him like how does the staff walk in to the building (it is located at an ulu plc). And he seemed relieved to answer some questions from me.

I really hope he like me and I hope that the principle coy like me too. Cos if they wanna hire me, I have to meet up with the principle coy ppl too. And I did met up with them before.. a few weeks ago because I also went there for an interview!

Well yesterday my coy also announced the retrenchment package.. it was really quite a good deal.. the maximum I can get is about 6.5mths.. that is the max max and not including my Dec salary. So I think that can help me a lot in my wedding preparations and my renovations too. It is truly a blessing in disguise. Thank you God.

I love 潇敬腾's voice.. I think it is very unique n very attractive n charming. Esp when he sings love songs.. Wah.. Cannot take it. His looks is not so attractive to me.. Although I like 小白脸.. I dun fancy him.

N I realise my Chinese is terok.. I was looking for Chinese words for 小白脸 n my hanyu pinyin is xiao Bai nian.. N I can't find the 脸 word.. Then I realise it is xiao Bai lian.. Jialat..

The colour theme for our wedding is white n red.. It stands for purity n passion, sanctuary and adventure.. Most of all it stands for zw's fave colour and my fave colour.. Haha!! This is what my wedding cake might look like.. Just an example..

When there is a 3rd party in a family, who do you support? The first wife tat has raise 3 kids singlehandledly or the mistress tat supported the man in his biz n borne him 2 kids? For me there is no doubt I will support the first wife even though she has her flaws. She did her best in her own way to raise the kids without a father n without his money.

But tis issue has n will n is tearing the family apart.. Who to invite n who will b there n who sides who.. The kids might nt understand n see on the surface.. The adults understand more n is sympathetic but they still know what's rite n what's wrong.. Isn't it? The first wife got to fight to maintain her position in the family cos it is war! She gt to gain more support n nt shrink away in defeat n embarrassment!! Otherwise the mistress will make her place in the family no matter hw small!

I just went for an interview with my competitor coy.. It was good as in I answered the qns in the way he wanted.. N the answers were what he was looking for but then he doesnt seems that keen to hire me.. Hopefully tomorrow morning I will receive a call from them and they will arrange the 2nd interview with me. N as always he said he has other candidates to see.. :(

Ah it has been an eventful month so far.. me and zw and his 3 other
frens went to Macau for a holiday. Initially we wanted to go to Krabi
but becos of one his fren is scared of flood n tsunami so we change
our air ticket to Macau.. Haiz.. But i want to go Krabi la.. All tat
stupid fren's fault.. scared this scared that.. in the end also
nothing happened. Of cos we took budget airline and we stayed in
Venetian Hotel suite. We got it at a super cheap price.. It was abt
$335 for 3 nights to be shared by 5 of us. It had 2 queen size bed, a
living room area and a very big bathroom. Shiok sia.. but then of cos
when u have 5 people.. it is also nt big enough la..

We had quite good meals there.. overall la.. we had a traditional
Macau breakfast on our first day there, then we had steamboat dinner.
Second day we went to the food court for lunch and we had seafood
dinner at Zhuhai. Finally last day we had Dim Sum lunch at Macau and
traditional Macau cafe dinner. Ah but all of us lost at the casinos..
me and zw lost abt SGD 350.. another fren abt SGD800.. another fren
about SGD100.. n last one.. dunno he lost SGD 100 or HKD100.. but he
kao pei the most.. cannot tahan him..

Then last day we flew back early cos we wanna cast our vote for the
General Election!! Yeah! Of cos I cant reveal who did I vote for
but..... no matter the outcome, I am happy that I did my part for
Singapore. And changing of the ticket cost us another $120 per pax..
ma de sian.. stupid tiger airways..

That night I had a super lovely surprise.. haha.. zw proposed to me!!
with the biggest diamond ring I had ever had.. HAHA... he is so proud
to tell me his ring is the biggest among his frens.. hahahaha... it is
0.77 carat, E colour, .. n he said he ran all around town to find the
perfect ring for me and I believed him. I will post the ring picture
later...

Well.. the way he proposed is truly so him.. he asked his frens to par
kat la.. so his fren lied to me say to meet tat night cos he is
bringing a girl down to meet me.. so i said ok then i asked if there
is tv there.. he said yes.. so I was like fine i can watch the GE..
then when i reached Orgo at Esplanade.. all his frens were there..
then I was wearing a black face cos i cant see any tvs around!!! Then
when they asked hw cm my face so black.. i turned n scold my fren
saying that he lied to me abt the tvs.. then he said if i dun say then
i wont come.. then i said dun have nvm la.. but cannot lie to me mah..
anyway then i commented y u bring the girl u like here then u jio so
many of ur guy frens? then he dun wan answer me.. then I was like even
more pissed.. then nvm.. they went out to smoke.. so i played with my
hp.. then they all got back..n they do tings amg themselves la.. like
talk, discuss abt the GE n play iphone.. then suddenly zw kneeled
beside my seat and on his hands he had a bouquet of roses and a ring..
n he MUMBLED " Dear, will u marry me?" .. well I was like totally
shocked la.. n surprised and embarrassed at the same time.. so i just
took the ring la.. n then passed it to him n ask him to wear for me..
by then his frens all realised wat is happening la.. then all of them
laughed.. haha.. n the ppl outside also looked in and gave me a
thumbs-up.. faint.. then he told me he was so nervous that he sweated
a lot n his entire shirt at the back is soaking wet.. haha.. then his
frens asked us to posed for pic la.. so embarrassing!!

I know many people are happy for us.. i am happy for us.. it is
another step in our r/s.. n i am really really really glad to accept
the proposal..

It's been a while since I last blogged. My good friend got married and
I was the jie mei (for the first time in my life!). Hm.. Another good
friend also got married.. Congrats to QP n Mich! Another good friend
will be getting married in May.. Congrats XY! It is the season to be
married.. Falalalalalala.. Dun ask me when is my turn.. I do not
know.. Sometimes I wished it will happen soon and sometimes I wished
it will never come.. I wished it will happen soon so that people will
not ask me tat qns.. I wished it will never come because I am scared
of the planning for it..

Who wants to be called Mrs XXX. I like my own surname very much, thank you!

I looked back at my blog.. it was started 8 yrs ago.. I tink... I am
still me. Like I have not matured since then!!!! Scary thought!!! I
think I should have la.. I dunno.. I know for sure that I have grown
fatter.. Haha..

Well GE is heating up and I am rooting for the underdogs.. Go Go GO!
We know it is impossible to overthrown the PAPs but we can try to put
more voices inside. For those netizens, dun let yr fingers do the
typing... let ur fingers do the crossing (in the boxes of the party
you spoke positively about)..

I think I will try my best to update the blog frequently. I brings
back fond memories as I read through the older posts..

Sometimes I dun understand why things just wont go the smoothly for
both of us. Why is it that it has to be so much harder for us to
achieve something? Why do things and people and circumstances appear
and block our paths? Is it God love us lesser so He allows these
things to happen? And God loves other people more and their lives are
so much smoother. But those people do not know You like we do. Those
people do not talk to You as much as we do. Or is it we don't know You
as much as those people and we don't talk to You as much as those
people? That's why You treat us this way?

I know when I asked You this question: why me? You will reply: why not you?

Well, it should not be me because I believe and trusted in you.
Because I believe that prayers work.
Because I believe that good things happen to good people.
Because You are my God.
Because I will prosper just as my soul prosper.
Because I will be blessed and the people around me will be blessed.
Because of so many things.. Your promises to Your people.

So why?

If it is because you want to mould us then God we have enough of moulding.

I think if You mould us somemore we will all turn into small little
pieces of hard clay that will never be fitted together again..
