I was just reading my post for Dec 2003 and Dec 2004. Wow.. so many things have happened since then. Got so many mixed feelings when reading those posts..

Dec 2003 - I wrote about getting married in 2005 after my studies..

Dec 2004 - I wrote about how unromantic is A.. and I was complaining about him


This year I am alone...




Anyway did I mentioned that I went to A's grandfather's wake on Wed nite. His grandpa passed away on Mon. Saw his family again.. his parents, brothers, uncles, aunties, cousins and nieces.. such an awkward position. But then it's ok la.. cos I have thick skin mah..

I told him many times before when his grandfather is still alive, to go and visit him. He is staying in those old folks home and because of certain issues so his family is not so close to the grandfather. But A procrastinate.. and now he is gone. Very sad..

Ever since my bro's wife passed away, I have learnt not to take people for granted.. go see them(like grandparents) when you have the time... they liked it. Try to go out with ppl you love.. loving them from a distance, might as well dun love. Work is impt but family and friends are worth more...

Talking abt it now.. I miss my second brother leh.. haiz.. he is not living with us anymore and I feel awkward to go to his place and hang out.. last time we can just hang out in our living room and watch tv and fight over the remote control..

Holiday season only make u nostalgic and lonely... and frens often have other plans tat does not include u.. ok la.. it's me that is lazy to do some stuff...

Ok let me note down a summary of wat happen during my Vegas and LA trip

17 Dec - Reached Vegas.. went to play Blackjack with my other fren's money and lost some money.. another fren played with his money and won.. so overall he won some money

18 Dec - Went to Treasure Island hotel and watched Cirque De Solie's Mystere. It is a fantastic show..

19 Dec - Went to Grand Canyon and realised my fren is scared of heights.. vandalised the stones with my name..

20 Dec - Attended my coursemate and her bf's wedding at Chapel of the Little Flowers.. real Vegas wedding ok.. completed with a minister, gown, tux, limo and photographer.. and it is not a Britney.. it was planned.. I combine resources with a fren and played Blackjack again.. and we both won $200 each...

21 Dec - Fren wanted to play BJ again so I accompanied her and we pooled resources of $50 each and lost it.. Took the plane to LA.. went to Fox Hills Mall for shopping.. bought more clothes..

22 Dec - Went to Hollywood Blvd, Rodeo Drive, Santa Monica, Venice Beach and Beverly Hills.. after tat went to Universal Studios.. took pics with Spiderman, Wolverine, Shrek, Donkey, Princess Fiona and Lion in Madagascar. Went to Ross after tat for shopping.. bought more clothes

23 Dec - Went to Disneyland and took photos with Mickey, Minnie, Santa Goofy, Chip and Dale, Donald Duck, Pooh Bear, Tigger, Eeyore and Little Mermaid. Saw the Christmas Parade twice. My camera died on me.. totally gone.. cannot take pics at all.. even with batt fully charged. Never see the fireworks cos it is too windy.

24 Dec - Slept till noon. Woke up and frens started packing luggage while I watched TV. After that I took a short while to pack my luggage. Had Christmas Eve dinner at hotel restaurant cos no money to go downtown for a good meal. Taxi fare is too costly. Countdown in my hotel room with the LA Xmas Parade on TV with my 2 fast asleep frens..

25 Dec - Went to LA airport which sucks to check in for flight back to Spore. Had a Xmas lunch on the plane. Watched 40 year old Virgin, Four Brothers and Sex and the City on the plane. Played a frustrating round of Mario Bros.. tried to sleep but cant cos no leg room..

26 Dec - Transit at Narita airport.. bought some nice handphone accessories

27 Dec - Reached Spore at 1.30am and parents came to fetch me.. went to work after 5 hours of sleep.. Msged everyone that I am back!!!

I am at vegas now..

just paid US$5 for 15 mins usage of internet... so wont talk much

Today my whole body is aching.. my legs are aching.. my sides are aching.. my shoulders are aching.. haiz.. not young anymore..

Yday I got a shock.. and this is wat happened.. during class, the lecturer wanted to measure the amount of fats in our body. There shld be around 20% ave. fat in a women's body.. and when it reached my turn, the machine showed my fats to be 26.7%.. My lecturer was surprised.. then he said nvm, we will do another measurement later.. so later he used the callipers to measure my fats.. he pinched my arms, my thighs and my waist to measure the amount of fats and added them up.. and it came up to 27.6%.. which is even more than wat the machine showed... so fat!!!! Am going to cut down on my food intake. Wat's worse.. i gained 2 kg since i got here. Yday after the run, we had to weigh ourselves.. and so i did. And after the conversion from pounds to kgs.. I gained 2 kg leh!!! Wah.. very sad...

Now my classmates call me fatty. Got this big sized with big belly guy in my class.. even his body fat is lower than mine and he kept talking about how he is less fat than me.. big deal!!! U still have a bigger belly than me and i still look better than u!!! :P

Yday I went shopping and after that we went Krispy Kreme, a doughnut place. Their doughnuts is nice but too sweet.. I ate 3 of them for lunch just now.. now feeling fat.. the personal fitness class is making me guilty..

Ran for 1.5 miles this morn.. "pant"


It's about 11 rounds around a basketball stadium.. "pant"


I ran about 17.24 mins for that.. "pant"


And my legs are aching now.. "pant"


I have not done such exercise since JC.. "pant"


I want to go home!!!!!!!

Today we started a new module and it is about personal fitness.. basically we learn about being fit. We have practical lessons whereby we got to run, walk or swim. And there will be games for the class as well. Like basketball games or some other sports. Today will be mainly theory but from tomorrow onwards we will be having those gyms and stuff.

Yday is a nua day for me. We went to this thrift shop hoping for good deals in clothings but all we see are items tat is like from 20-30 yrs ago and they do not look really clean. Anyway after walking thru it for 5 mins, my frens and I stepped out of the place. After which I went back to my apartment. As I went to the church earlier tat day and I had a late nite the day before so I decided to take a nap. However my nap was being disrupted by Fussy and she was making a lot of noise. She was like oh... since me and WC always disturb her sleep at nite so she will disturb ours by talking loudly. And she went on and on. Then I was damned pissed off.. I wanted to shout back at her but I still have to tahan her for the next 2 weeks so I just tsked at her and try to go back to sleep. Bloody ass leh.. wah liao.. at nite we talked but we try to keep it down and wat's more it is not our fault that she go to sleep at 9pm or 10pm. Come on la.. then those not planning to sleep must also go to sleep meh? And we are not delibrately making her wake up.. she knows she is a lightsleeper yet she go to sleep so early for wat.. while the rest of us is still awake. And then yday she is delibrately being loud to wake us up... bloody shit man.. wat's more yday nite she was talking on the phone with her staff and the rest of us downstairs is planning to sleep already and she talked so loudly.. I then told my bedmate to tell her to shut up.. but she didn't.. I will try my best to tahan her bloody shittyness...

Ok.. I found out some of my coursemates read my blog.. Stupid leh!! Whahahhaa...

Yesterday I went to a strip club over here.. it is right opposite the place we are staying. The place is called Night Trips.. it is an eye opener..

The ladies we entered do not have to pay cover charge but the guys have to pay US$5. But is is worthwhile ok.. cos u get to see breasts of all shapes and sizes.. ahahah.. But then if u wan to feel them then u got to fork out more money lah. However, it still depends on the stripper to see if she wants to let u have a feel. The customer cannot touch the stripper's body except the waist or the legs.. however the stripper can rubs herself against u.. hahaah.. so u can have a feel if she push ur head towards her breasts.. but expect to pay more money for tat.

The place where we stood got lots of action going on. They also have something called lapdance whereby the strippers dance rite before u and then ermm.. mimick the sex act on u while fully clothed la.. I think the guys are havin the time of their life.. however i see the strippers like they are so bored with the whole thing.. but then it is their work wat.. doing it day in and out makes anyone sian also.

Then the strippers will dance with a pole and they perform amazing acts with the pole leh.. and pls not in the way u think of it.. it is just that they can climb onto the pole and then do gymnastic acts like holding onto it with only a hand and the legs will be perpendicular to the pole.. this means that they have got lots of practise and strength to do that. Wow... power man...

Then I got picked up... hahahaah... by an amg moh called Carl I think. He is young and quite normal looking.. (I mean normal looking as in normal cos my frens got picked up by a drug addict so this Carl is normal lor). He asked me where I am from and how I got to be here and am I here often. So I told him I am a tourist and it is my first time to the strip club. Then he told me that I am really pretty. Then I said thanks.. I was thinking are u sure a not? With the heavy eye make up my frens did for me.. I am amazed he will think me pretty. I think of the make up i shuddered man.. cos it is just so not me.. After that I turn to my frens next to me and asked her to save me. Then she asked me to quickly go over to my guy frens side.. then I made my escape. Scareded me man..

After the strip club.. we all head to the guys room to play monopoly..eight of us playing leh.. take a long time man.. but the rule of the game is.. whoever goes to jail got to drink volka straight (one volka cap full) I told them i cant drink so i get to drink 1 glass of plain water if i go to jail.. hahaah.. and thruout the whole thing i only drink twice.. once cos i went to jail and the second time is cos i cheated at the game. I skipped over the place where I am supposed to be at and I got caught!! hahah.. just a game mah and i am broke leh.. so got to be creative wat...

I had the greatest fun and entertainment just now!!!













I went to a ice hockey game!!! Hahahah... it is the Oklahoma City Blazers vs Fort Worth (??). And Oklahoma City Blazers won!! There was lots of fighting.. like 8 times throughout the 2 hours game. And it was not those gentle push push pull pull kind. They really grabbed hold of each other shirts and plummeted the hell out of each other.. They punched and punched.. like a mini wrestle match.. there was one guy that had his nose punched and he bled. Hhahaah.. I did not see the blood la but some of the other coursemates that went saw it cos they sat near the place where the fight was happening. The funny thing was that the two referees did not stop the fight immediately when it started. They waited for them to fight for a while then they intervened. The spectators all stood up to watch when the fight was happening and they screamed and cheered at the players. And when the home team guy that started the fight walked past, they will cheer.. hahaah.. The players will push the other opponents against the plastic wall when they are fighting for the puck and u can really heard the bang when they hit against the plastic wall. It is really very fun and the people are very spontaneous. I paid US$7 for it and it is really worthwhile.. best fun I had here other than the snow.

Today we went to Mt Wichita to look at the wildlife preservation area. We saw various animals.. like Bisons, Elks, Prairie Dogs, Deers and Long Horn cows... sorry Mich, no rabbits.. but then my hotel here got one rabbit running around.. dunno belong to who one.. but very cute..

We just sort of went round the area and had the Rangers talk to us about the stuff of the wildlife preservation area.. and before u ask me about the Rangers.. no they are not cute cos they are two old men..

We went up to Mt Scott and took tons of beautiful scenic pictures but it is damn cold up there.. i was hopping from one leg to another when preparing to take photos.. it was sunset then and it was absolutely beautiful and i knew and i knew that A will love to be at that place to take photos too... the sky is in different colours.. from the pastel blue to light orange to powder pink and then to dusky red... and with the blue lakes and ruddy brown trees and scrubs.. and I am looking down at this scene.. can u imagine? it's really beautiful..

It did not snow today.. I dunno when will it snow next but I cant wait to see snow again.. i mean snow when they are drifting down and not when they are already one the ground..

It is snowing!!!! Really snowing leh!! I cant believe I am looking and playing with snow!!!



It is like small ice flake.. u can try to grab it with ur hands but it wont stay..

It is like crystal and when the light shine upon them, u can see the reflection bouncing back, sparkling like little diamonds on the floor..

It is like powder.. when u step into a pile of snow.. ur feet sinks in.. u will leave ur feet impression on the snow..

I played in the snow for a while.. and when i asked my coursemates to play with me.. they all dun wan.. act tough la.. hiyah.. not every chance to see snow leh.. why act so tao..

Anyway the temp outside is minus 8 degrees la.. they say it would go down to minus 15 degrees.. dunno real or not.. and they said the snow will continue for a few days..

Tom I will be going to Mt Wichita.. wildlife preservsation area.. maybe can see some elk, deer or rabbits... hahaaha..this is for our environmental science module.. fun!!! but got to wake up at 6am.. sian..

A report on the temp over here.. it is tuesday noon now and the temp outside is -3 degrees celcius!!!! Very cold but no snow in sight.

This week we start our new module. it is environmental science and it is basically geography in a nicer term. it is actually an interesting class but then the lecturer is so dry and boring that yesterday all of us wan to sleep in his class. we finally manage to get thru the whole day with lots of sweets and sour plum to keep us awake. Today is not so bad as we have 2 field trips.. in the morning we went to the abandoned oil fields.. they have tons of that around her and later we are going to a waste plant.. to smell the shit and stuff.. yucks!! right after lunch some more..

anyway me gotta go.. got to join the rest of my frens liao.. if nt the bus might leave w/o me.. but tat is not such a bad idea.

Finally got a chance to update my blog for the past two days.. just wanna let u guys in spore know wat is the temp here.. it is 2 degrees outside right now.. freezing cold.. they are predicting snow on Wed.. anyway they had predicted snow on sunday and now it is sunday nite and i have yet to see anything.. not even rain..

I went to this grapevine mills mall in Texas yesterday.. it is huge!! The school arranged for the bus to drive us down there and it took 3 hrs to reach there. So we got abt 6 hours to shop cos we reached there ard 12noon and we got to get back to the bus at 6pm. Wow.. and there are lots of outlets stores there like levi's outlet, hollister(famous american brand), guess and oshkosh. And the thing is even though i have 6 hours to shop, it is still not enough!! jialat man.. cos i need to buy things for frens.. and then u know la.. for outlets rite.. the good stuff is normally at the back of the stores and u got to search for it one.. so that one take time mah.. hahah i bought a pair of shorts at guess for only US$4.50.. and it is nice!!

then today i went to this church called St. Luke's Methodist, and it is really different. their entire service is only 1 hr long and the people took coffee, doughnuts and their breakfast into the church hall and they eat when the annoucements are being made.. then they sing Xmas songs la.. then short short sermon then annoucement again then all of us can go home liao. so strange.. hahah then after that i went to this shopping place called Ross and the stuff there is really cheap.. and i bought some stuff.. hiaz.. me spend money again.. but i bought a really cute bag for us$5.. hahahah

think am gg to go and do my accounts liao..

Today we had the final production of the show and i did well.. I was the host and i did not have any gaps on the show and we did not have any laughing scene..

anyway living in close quarters with some people is starting to piss me off.. but then me being me.. knowing that i still have to live with them for the next 2 weeks make me endure their shit. one is often paranoid and fussy and "cold" (can nv seem to get warm), another is such a smartass and act so bloody cool, the other three is ok.. only these two i cant tahan.. haiz.. we are hanging with each other for 24 hours a day leh.. wan to escape also cannot.. the fussy one complains that i talked loudly when she wan to sleep then she nv think abt others.. when she wake up earlier than me in the morning.. her loud movements also wake me up wat.. wat shit man!!!! i sleep late is becos we only have 2 toilets and since u always so anxious to sleep so i let u all bathe first la.. then when reach me u all already in bed want to sleep liao.. then i talk also cannot... wat shit!! somemore she is always on the phone, others wan to use the phone also have to wait for her.. big shot la big shot la.. just becos u GM in ur company does not mean u r GM in the class leh..

then the other one always trying to act cool.. when i talk to her and act her some general questions she will answer me in ways like i am stupid and i do nt know shit like tat.. for example, as we are taking private bus to school so i mentioned to her that wow.. the roads in the campus is really small hor.. then she said yah la... becos the school dun have school buses mah and they all drive to school so they do not actually accomodate to large buses.. blah blah.. i am only stating something and i do not need u to analyse for me why the roads are small and such.. if i wan to think abt it i'm sure i can think that out myself.. there is no need to talk like i wont even think abt that in a million years and need u to explain that to me. Aiyah she is just such a smartass la.. which is good in some ways and in other ways it simply pisses me off...

then just now in the prof's house, we were having Mexican food.. i took the fork to scoop the salsa to put on my chips. then one of my fren told me to dip in it.. then i said use fork better wat.. cos u eat the salsa liao then got saliva then u dip it in.. my fork is clean wat.. i only use it to spear food to my plate.. then the smart ass said no shld dip in it then the fussy one also said yah dipping is the rite way... yah yah... if i wan to use my clean fork cannot meh... wat shit!!!! i know can dip it in and i always do tat when with close frens eating salsa but when as guests.. using fork better wat... aiyah anyway it's over and it's irritating...

2 more weeks of smartass and 3 more weeks of fussy....

The truth is today i got a letter from my University inviting me to join their Phi Kappa Phi society!!! it is a "alumni" society for those top students across the board not only in mass comm courses.. and it is prestigious la.. cos they had some big names as their members like Jimmy Carter and John Grisham.. I will get a medallion and an additional scarf from them when i go for the graduation 2 weeks later.. my class of 19 ppl only 3 of us get. U have to be above 3.75 grade average to get it... but i am not the top student cos I still got a B for my advertising.. my other fren got all As..







So I wan to thank the following ppl for this honor.. God!! My family esp my brothers that supported me for the course. Alvin for being supportive. Ermm.. tat's all.. hahaha.. no la.. still got frens and those tat prayed for me...



Hahahah... Happi!!!

Wow.. this is the first time i am using Mac leh and i love it!! it is just so cool esp the mouse and the keyboard and the graphics on the screen. I am using the internet services in my school and this is my lunch break.. it is abt 130pm here now.. oh and singapore time is ard 3am.. and tat is why no one is online on the msn!! hhahaha..

I just finish my lunch and i had sonic fast food and one meal cost me about us$5 and i had hotdog, fries and a medium size coke.. they are big on cokes here and fast food.. today i was the host for the show and i had 2 lady guests and since i am the host i picked the topic and i decided on lesbianism.. hahaah.. and it was fun talking about it on the show.. and i had to prompt them for the questions and such and we had a bit of a laugh at certain parts but overall it is interesting. My other coursemates always picked boring topics like being an overseas student on OCU campus or travelling overseas or taking up this mass comm course...

This morning is really cold.. and even in the afternoon it is still cold.. but Thank God i am inside the building for the whole day so we wont really feel it.. hmm... wat else to add.. there is quite a bit of cute ang moh guys here but then we dun know them and there is no opportunity for us to know them so too bad la..

ah.. there is one that looked like zhu siao tian (Ken) from F4 that just walked into the room.. the same center parting long hair and the same kind of sharp features.. but i prefer the asian version cos i prefer blonds.. hahahaah...

Today is my third day of class and we get to direct a 6 mins show.. and it was fun!! But then for the less confident ppl they cock up la.. and as it is all teamwork so a lot of them was affected when one messed up.. mine was fine.. and the lecturer after the whole thing came over to me and told me that it is a solid piece of work.. I think she likes me..

Then after that they showed some of our work to the class and get them to talk and discuss abt it and mine was one of it and very funny.. halfway though the thing she was like stroking my hair and saying good job or something like tat.. at first i thot it was one of my classmates that was sitting next to me but then i see her hands and they are next to me.. then i turn to the back and i only see 2 other guys so i know is the lecturer liao.. haiz.. why does everyone like to fondle my hair.. then i double checked with my other classmate and she said yah.. she also saw the lecturer touching my hair.. hahaah... I think she really likes me..

my middle finger on my right hand is a bit swollen.. i cut my self la.. so i think i will stop for now..

oh yah.. today i had a salad and it cost us$5 and a chinese plate of rice costing us$4... ex ex... too ex...

hiyah.. me now at the second day of my class and it is now 1040pm at nite and all my frens all K.O liao.. hahah.. we all always have earlier nite here.. the place turns dark at 6pm and dark means 8pm singapore kind of dark lor.. so we have a misconception kind of timing... hahah.. so they sleep earlier.. but no la actually another reason we sleep so early is that our classes is at 830am and we get up at around 630-645am to bathe and prepare.. imagine we have 6 girls and 2 bathroom so got to take turns lor.. me always one of the last.. reason is i wan to sleep more.. obvious la then the other reason is that i bathe quite fast in the morning.. then at nite i bathe one of the last cos at nite i bathe longer..

today we went to a newspaper publishing house to look at their working area/offices and printing and production area. interesting la but then wat is the most interesting is that they have a huge piece of land that they allow their employees to use for walks or runs on the pathway.. imagine ur company rich enough to own their own parks..

then after that we went to a TV studio and sat in as audience for one of their afternoon news.. we saw the anchor and the weatherman.. we see how they tie in the videos for the stories with the anchor on the set.. and how the weatherman points to a green piece of wall and on the screen, the map of Oklahoma will appear with the whole weather thingy...

Then we went to one of our professor's house for dinner and her place is huge!! me cannot download the pics cos nv bring the cable i think but will post it up when i'm back la..

me got stomache now.. must go clear tummy now to prepare for more food tom..

Yeah Dan.. the food here is damn ex lor.. it is boring and it is ex!!! me spent us$6 in the cafe yday to eat one cheese bread and a chicken burger plus a cup of coke.. today i spent us$7 plus and i had a ham and cheese sandwich and a coke.. so ex!!!! i miss my bak ku teh and my carrot cake and my CHILLI SAUCE!!!

me just saw on the news here that there is a wildfire.. and it is in this city that I'm staying at..

there is high wind in oklahoma and today when we went for the orientation, we walked across the campus and i felt like i am being blown away like tat.. it is really that powerful lor the wind.. wat's more it is cold man.. like 5 degrees or wat..

this morn when i was clearing my nose(means when i was digging my nose) in the toilet, i found blood!!! Arghhh!!! then i told my frens and they said that it is becos of the dryness.. cos when we use heater, we will get nose bleed.

Now my fren is cooking dinner and it is 630 now here but it is completely black.. like 8-9pm like tat.. am watching shrek on tv now also.. hahaha..

anyway me had buffet this afternoon and it cost us abt US$9 per person but it is a really great buffet.. we have fried chicken, shrimp, baked potatoes, pot roast, salad, ribs, pizza and a lot of the western kind of food la.. hahah.. and they have a great variety of desserts too.. like ice cream, all sorts of pies and puddings, brownies, chocolate cakes, cookies and jello too...

me did not eat a lot cos had a heavy breakfast.. wasted la.. but then can go there eat again cos we can pay for one person share but two person can eat cos they dun check.. heh heh..

Hiya.. me reach here at Oklahoma after a 27 Hours flight!!!!!!!!!!!! 27 hours!!! I went from daylight in Spore to evening in Japan then left Japan at nite to reach LA in the morning. Then left LA in the noon then reach Dallas in the evening then left Dallas in the evening to reach to Oklahoma at 10pm!

I went thru 2 days but I still reach here on 25th Nov! hhaahhah...

The weather is cold here.. last nite the weather is 8 degrees celcius.. wah.. now me fren is suaning me about always eating.. said my stomach will be their alarm clock! wah wat to do man.. the weather cold mah.. so eat a lot la.. at one of the airport hor.. i bought a burger king meal and it cost me S$17.00 leh.. we bought one meal plus extra onion rings.. now they saying to stop me from waking them up in the morning they will feed me when i disturb them so they can sleep longer... me go back spore sure white white fat fat...

Now they saying i will wake up first.. hahahah... me sleeping rite in front of the tv.. good choice.. ok ok.. me now going to walmart liao.. update later!!!

I know I know.. I update my blog a lot today but I scared I got no time to update over there so update now lor..

Me quite anxious now.. aiyah I am a bit muddlehead one so I scared I will forget to bring stuff... Last time still got A to help me double check.. now only left me to check so I gan cheong lor..

It is really a bittersweet feeling.. a "I cant wait to go there" feeling with a "I dun wan to go there" feeling.. Dunno will there b lots of stuff for me to do when i get back.. and dunno if I can catch up with the things a not.. Thank God that I do nt have a lot of projects on hand now..

I havent change money yet.. dunno today exchange rate good a not.. ok checked liao.. it is USD1.69.. so high ah!!! Sian... temp there is highest 26 degree celcius and lowest 1.7 degree celcius... it's going to freeze my toes off!!!! At night need to wear socks to bed liao... haahaha

12) I DUN WAN TO GOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! BOOOHOOOO.... NOT DURING THIS PERIOD!!!!!!! I WAN TO SPEND XMAS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

I pray that it will snow there.. to compensate for all the above items.. if it snows then it is all worthwhile..

Let me continue with my stupid fat american interviewer story..

So on the third day I went down again.. as he did not give me a letter to say that I am going for an interview so the security check counter had to intercom with the people inside to check on me before I can go in. Then when finally I reached his counter again. He said oh u decided to bring the letter down personally.. u did not faxed in yesterday. Then I said no.. I did faxed in yesterday.. stupid idiot.. must be never even check the fax machine tat's why did not see anything.. then he just take one look at the stupid letter (which had just an additional sentence more than the other one) and he said ok.. ur Visa is approved... So stupid rite.. got me to come down all the way.. queued for almost 2 hrs.. he took less then 10 secs to read the letter then said ok.. Visa approved!! Sigh..

I was on MC for the past 3 days... wahahahh.. first time took MC for so long leh.. it is funny actually.. first day I took MC is because I lazy to work and that I wan to make full use of the MC thingy mah.. then I went doc and told him that I have diahorrea and sore throat.. then he gave me one day MC. Then that day I went out with frens and hanged out till 1am then got back.. haha.. then the next day I woke up.. I really felt bad... but I still went to work... only to go into the office with aching body and I felt really bad.. so I told my boss that I am still not feeling well.. then I took a cab home and took a number at the clinic and slept for an hr.. after that I went down to the doc and when he see me.. I said yah I came yesterday... and now i think i got fever.. he checked my temperature and it was 37.4 degrees i think.. he then gave me MC.. he wanted to give me one day only but then he stopped and said.. i think 2 days better la.. can rest more.. then I said i'm ok with that.. hahahahh...

So after that I went home.. ate porriage and slept.. really sleep like a pig leh.. Then yday I feel better although I still felt giddy at certain times..

This morning I went down to the stupid us embassy again.. and I encountered the stupid fat american interviewer again. I showed him my two bank accounts and you know wat he said? The stupid fat american interviewer said that it is not S$7k but US$7k.. I was like WAT!!!!!!!!! What the hell is he talking about man???!!!! Yday he said S$7k.. now tell me us US$7k... shit.. then I said the US$7k is already prepaid... it is part of the school fees that I paid MDIS and then I showed him the letter that MDIS prepared for us that state that we have fully paid up the school fees and know wat the stupid fat american interviewer said? he said that nowhere in the letter states that the US$7k is part of the school fees that we have paid earlier... SHIT MAN!!!! BLOODY FAT ASS!!!!!!!!!!!! Then he asked me to fax over a new letter from MDIS to them and he will review the whole thing again.. and he returned my passport to me...

WHICH MEANS I HAVE TO GO BACK DOWN THAT GODFORSAKEN PLACE AGAIN TOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I spent more than $400 on this useless piece of paper already leh... sian.. he thinks we are bloody rich ah.. go ur country spent money u still act big shot.. wat's more who wan to stay there and work when we might encounter silly fat asses like yours man... this is still Singapore ok.. who cares if u r in the US embassy.. unless u live there and dun step out of it.. if nt u better dun let me see u outside.. stupid fat american interviewer...

Yday I have an event at Singapore History Museum and I was there for the whole day helping out. At one point where we were suppose to go for lunch, cos we are so hungry, she said no cos the place is not cleared yet!! U know how not cleared is not cleared? It is 4-5 stacks of chairs waiting for the trolley to arrive so that we can load on it and push it into the storeroom.. And how many trolley we have? ONE!!! So how many ppl do u need for tat? Hmm.. maybe just ONE???!!!!! there are 3 of us, 2 ladies and 1 guy and the guy already volunteered to do it.. but Noooo.... she said it is not cleared yet so cant go...

Of course, me being me, got fed up. Then when I got to the empty buffet trays.. I said to the rest of my colleagues.. Eh.. eat lunch la.. got FRIED RICE AND UDON left!! Can EAT can EAT! And she turned to me and asked me why I say so loud, then I said oh.. cos earlier my other colleague asked me got wat to eat mah so now I telling her lor.. Then my bosses came in and said we go elsewhere to eat.. then of course I happy la..

The reason I am pissed is that.. firstly we are her helpers/colleagues, at the initial meeting we already said to leave some food for us.. and she agreed.. but yday she did not do tat. Secondly, the PR agency staff ate even earlier than us.. and we are their clients! Thirdly, the stupid chairs can be cleared by the Museum operations staff, we dun need to be around to teng tei lor.. Lastly, shouldn't she have the sense to tell us to go elsewhere and eat, instead of telling us to finish up the pathetic fried rice and udon.. wat are we? eat and clear the leftovers ppl ah.. shouldn't we deserve better? At least have the common sense to see that the food is not enough or not good enough for us.. even Mac is better lor.. then to tell us to eat that lor.. anyway she knows I'm not happy.. my other cols asked me why I'm so pissed and then I told them.. no staff welfare..

After that I went to meet E cos he just got back from Bangkok and he wanted to pass me a gift. We went to Somerset's Coffee Club and we talked about his lack of job and discussed some other stuff.. then he told me that he sorta have a gf.. I was like HUH??!! Then I said.. u have or u dun have.. make up ur mind.. then he said yah la.. he has la.. then he proceed to tell me his love story.. complicated like hell man.. and we discussed about love and r/s. Yah la.. this is much more comfortable for me than last time.. cos I know he got gf and that he is not harboring anything for me.. hahaha.. anyway we had fun talking about it.. I went home about 2am.. tired siah..

This morn I went to the US embassy and had an interview with an imbecile... I waited for 1 hr and had a 5 mins interview and he is not satisfied with my bank statement and asked me to come back tomorrow with additional one. WHERE DO I HAVE THE FRICKING TIME MAN!!!! And I found out tat my other coursemates' interviewer dun even wan to look at their bank statement leh.. only mine!!!!!!!!!! What an ass.. he even asked me stupid qns like.. what is your company doing.. which I said they take care of Singapore furniture companies. Then he asked do I know where in US do they make furnitures.. Like I bloody hell know!!!! I am dealing with Spore companies not US companies leh!!!!! He also asked me why I take this degree and when I have the degree would I work elsewhere.. I said no la.. still remind in the company lor.. then he said since like tat then take the degree for wat.. then I said so that I can rise up to the managerial level. As if this has got anything to do with going to US to study!!!!!! Wah.. thinking about this makes my blood boil!!!!

Stupid fat Americans!!!!!

Love is really troublesome. One of my fren broke up with his gf. He is really sad.. we are sad too cos we all really like the girl as well. It is a shock to us as they seems to be very close even though theirs is a long distance relationship. Well there is a chinese proverbs that say "Jing Shui Lou Tai Xian De Yue", it means the closer the proximity, the faster to get the item. Anyway without strong foundation to a r/s, to maintain a long distance r/s is tough.

Anyway love is tough la.. u like someone, the person dun like u. when the person like u, u already have someone else. or you like the person and u have a bf/gf already. both parties like each other but the timing is not rite. both parties like each other but have to be at different parts of the world. both parties like each other but their parents dun wan them to be together. both parties like each other but their race and religion is different. both parties like each other but they have different concepts of commitment.

So.. what for man.. love sucks...

I have been chasing an insurance claim payment from this organisation for the longest time! Since this Mar till now, I have not received anything. I kept calling this person and she kept saying that she sent out the cheque liao but I did not receive anything nor does the person that submitted the claim.

Then yesterday, the claimer called me and told me that he still havent received anything.. Then I told him ok.. I will call the person and tell her again.. Then I called the lady and she said she will check with her accounts and let me know by 3pm. That time is around 1 plus.. So I said ok.

Then at 330 I called her and her receptionist told me that she is not at her desk. And then I said does she know when will she be back and she said she is not sure and ask me to call back ard 15-30 mins later.. And then she asked me for my name then I gave it to her la. I got a suspicion that she is avoiding my call.. cos she is a secretary so how can she always not be at her desk one. Admin job no need to be running around one mah. At the most go toilet la.. Then nvm, I called around 45 mins later.. I gave her some grace time ok in case she is really TAT busy! But then the receptionist again told me she is not at her desk and I asked again when will she be back and she said she is not sure as the lady is very busy always running around one.. This sentence is really a lie lor!! Secretary run around for wat? You run around in the office I can believe la and she can still get hold of her wat.. But I dun believe that the lady will be busy running around the compound or wat lor.. Then I got fed up and asked the stupid receptionist that par kat with her.. What is the GM's email address.. Of course I asked in a nice and trying to hold my temper way la.. Then she gave me in a really reluctant manner.. hahaah..

And I sent out this email:


Then after about 10 mins after I sent out the email, the lady in charge called me and told me that the cheque will be ready by tomorrow. And then she asked me did I make a complain? (How she know I am going to make a complain.. must be the recept told her tat I got hold of her boss' email add la so obvious the recept par kat with her one) Then I said no.. I only send an email to her boss. Then she said can I retract it back.. Then I said I already sent it out. Then she asked me what did I write in the email and I said that I wrote down that I have been asking for the insurance claim since March lor.. Then she is like okaayyy.. Then she asked me if it is possible for me to send another email to supersede the earlier one and said that the matter has been settled. Then I told her that I will do tat only when I receive the cheque the next day... wahahahaah... Then she is like orh.. Then she like wanted to say something then she stopped. Then she said aiyah she dun wan to say anymore and that can I help her to "cover up".. Then I said as long as I receive the cheque I will send in another email. hahaaha..

Then today I received an email from her boss apologizing for the inconvenience caused and said that he will investigate the matter. haahah.. And becos I have not receive the cheque yet so I did not reply him.. Until later in the afternoon I received the cheque then I sent in an email saying that I have settled the matter with his staff and thank him for his time. And this time round, she called me to ask me if I have received the cheque.. So proactive ah.. And I said yes and I said I will send an email to his boss and said that the matter is settled.

These ppl nv complain ah then wont do work one leh.. Since March till now leh.. Not like their organisation not rich like tat!! Then still scared that ppl complain.. Scared ppl complain then do work la.. Not like I never give you 9 mths of chances to do your work...

I went to donate blood on Saturday.. And it is not as bad as what most people thought it might be. The worst thing about it is the waiting.. as it is a church event so there are lots of people and I waited for 2 hours before they started to pump my blood out.. hahaah

I rem the first time I gave my blood.. it was in 1998 and I was in JC1. The funny thing is that a lot of my classmates are going so I signed up too.. however I just had my chicken pox 2 weeks ago and I still went ahead. It is not allowed but I did not tell the doctor. Cos u need to be at least 45 kg to donate blood but then I was only 44 kg cos I lost some weight during my chicken pox exile. I stepped on the weighing machine before my turn and I knew that I was too light to give blood but I pretend not to know. Then when it is my turn, the doctor ask me wat's my weight and I said 45kg and he said ok and that he wont ask me go and weigh in front of him becos he saw me weighing just now.. hahaah... so I donated my chicken pox infected blood to some poor unsuspecting victim of gang war or plastic surgery...

So this time round.. the doc saw my records and he said it has been a while since I donated blood and I said yah.. then he said welcome back.. hahahha.. mar cham like tat.. anyway it is not painful.. this first prick is the anestastia and it is like an ant bite.. just a sharp prick and it is gone. Then when the nurse slide in the big needle.. it feels a bit strange.. nt painful but strange.. and it is like a bit sore sore kind of feeling..

There is no bruise on the same day or sunday but then today I think got a bit of a bruise.. I showed the marks to whoever tat saw it.. hahaah... and their fave question is did u faint? And NO! I did not...

Being Christian in this modern age and environment is really not easy. There are just too many things that can distract, tempt, stumble and discourage you. It is so tough to hang on to something that we cannot really touch physically. What with the naysayers as well that mock, criticize and condemn your religion.

Look at the things I am facing:

I gossip.. In the Bible, it is written somewhere that we should not talk bad about other people. That we should not judge others lest we are judged. But sometimes when girls get together these things just happen.. We will complain, condemn and criticize those that we don't like. It is tough to keep quiet when you feel the same way about that person yourself and you just want to let others know about your grievances and opinions of that person. Sigh.. This is a tough habit to conquer.. You will tell yourself not to do it but when the person irritates you again.. Out it comes..

I curse.. I know I know.. With the same mouth that blesses God, why are we cursing others? But sometimes, life is just so frustrating that saying curses and vulgarities simply let off some of my steam and anger.. Not a good enough excuse la.. Even muttering it under your breath and not letting anyone hear it is also not good enough.. hahaha.. But I have toned down a lot liao.. I try not to say shit out loud.. Instead I say shoot.. hahaah..

My closest friends are non-Christians.. You will wonder why this is not allowed.. It is not not allowed you see.. It is not encourage la.. cos their mindset, ideas and opinions are not Godly see.. If you have problems or troubles and you tell them.. They will give you worldly advice instead of Godly wisdom. And the more you are with them, instead of you influencing them, they might influence you.. But then.. They are the people that has known me for over 10 years and they know almost my whole life history.. They know me at my downest and upest... hahaha.. As much as I know theirs... This is tough la..

I am attracted to guys not of the church.. Yah!!! This is the toughest!! Haiz.. nvm la.. It is over la.. Nothing to talk about liao.. I will be a guai single girl.. And enjoy my guai single life..

I get angry with my parents.. Yes.. In the 10 commandments.. We are to honor our mother and our father but I get angry with them. I am very impatient with my mom and I am very disappointed with my dad. Very difficult to change la.. Long story here..

My ideas and opinions.. In church, men are the head of the family.. I cannot really accept that leh.. And the fact that women are to submit to their husbands.. I mean in theory it is like tat la and in practical, there is no need to be really submissive or wat.. But then cant they be equal instead of one submitting to another? I can be submissive provided that the man can make me respect him and give me reason why I should submit to him. Other than that, difficult leh. Erm.. I also feel that as long as couples have feelings for one another and that both are willing and both are careful then they can consummate their love.... whaahahah... So lao tu the word.. Yah la... I dun condemn pre-marital sex but then I feel both parties must be really ready for it lor for it to happen. And this is against the church teachings la..

So a lot of things to take note of rite.. So tough rite.. haiz.. But then I really believe in God mah.. So wat to do?

I just cut and dyed my hair.. not a big difference cos it is still light brown and it is still long....

I had a talk with my fren the other time.. I was saying if only each one of us has a tag or number and we need only to find someone of the opposite sex with the same tag or number and tat person will be perfect for u. Like tat we wont have to go thru all those painful heartaches and broken relationships.. we will know who is the right one for us and who are the wrong ones.. isn't life easier like tat?

Actually hor.. I did a mental calculation for the activities I did this week.. I went out with 3 different guys leh.. and this coming sat, I will be going out with another guy. Wow.. but all four i mentioned b4 in this blog. One is E, one is A, one is Y and the coming sat one is V.


I told my dad about it and he asked me which one I prefer.. then thinking hard about it.. actually none leh.. he asked me why none.. then I said cos no chemistry with anyone of them. So sad rite.. they are good guys lah.. but then I just don't feel the vibe. Maybe I wont feel the vibe ever again.. hahaha..

E = cute (7.5), very animated, tall, dark, drives a lorry, very humourous (8.5)
I went out with lunch with E.. it is diff from before.. I dun know why but I just feel it lor..

A = cute (6.5), knows me in and out, more tanned than last time, funny (8), treats me really well
I went dinner with him.. sometimes it is like before and sometimes we are like strangers...

Y = cute (7), tall, fair, quite funny (7), good career (i think la), very spiritual
I went dinner and coffee with him last nite and it was quite comfortable.. like good frens..

V = quite cute (6.5), got car, not very funny (5), sometimes cannot catch wat I'm saying, gives me small gifts
Going to go dinner with him this sat.. hope I wont be bored to death.. must ask someone to acc me liao..

This happened at the International Design Forum that is at Suntec today and tomorrow. Our company had a booth there and I was there in the morning to take care of the booth. It is so BBbboorring!!! There is no one in the hall once the Opening Ceremony starts and I just sit down there and stare into space lor.. and because all my colleagues are inside so no one talked to me. Anyway all this is ok cos Dr V B smile and said hi to me!!! haahahah...

I heard that one of my church fren is pregnant.. very fast leh.. she is married in Apr and now she is 2 mths along.. wow.. ji li hai wor.. I msned her and told her to take care of herself and drink more milk. I guess that is wat normally one would say to a pregnant lady ba..

My msn got virus today and I genna scolded by ppl cos the virus sent the link to them and some of them kaypoh opened it.. and they genna also la.. hahahah the virus crisis is now over.. and I can safely use my msn again..

Hmm.. got something to complain about my irritating colleague but I would not do it today cos I am leaving the office liao.. tom ba.. tada..

I had a really busy weekend.. it passes by so quickly..

Fri: Went to church. Had overnight prayer meeting and I helped out at the refreshment table. We had bee hoon, bee hoon and more bee hoon.. wat's worse is.. the bee hoon is yucky. But then if you r hungry then it is still passable. We also had carrot cake and soon kueh but these run out very fast. Haha.. It was on this night that one of my cg mate gave me a word. He said that I have potential. He said that I am caring and that I have leadership qualities.. which makes me suitable to rise up and be a cgl. Wow.. I am blown away by wat he said. Indeed initially my ex-cgl did asked me if I would like to be one and I said yes. But then I did not do anything about it as I think A will be quite intimitated by it. And then I got busy. But I am scared cos I know that I am not strong spiritually at all... and I got home ard 6am in the morning on sat.

Sat: Me and M went to do our manicure and pedicure at Heeren. Suppose to meet another church fren but our timing clashes so we did not get to meet up. Me and M spent almost 2 hours doing the nails.. Wow.. seriously.. a total waste of time!!! I mean I'm ok with it but 2 hours leh.. mayb next time I will do express one.. cheaper and faster.. wont waste my time. I spend $38 on it. Cheap hor.. Then after tat me and M went round Orchard to look for the soundtrack of Anastasia as my cgl wants one particular song inside for her wedding on Sun and Mon. In the end, we found it at HMV at citylink. It costs $33 for the CD! I told my another cg mate and he said no need to buy cos too expensive liao. After that I went shopping and I bought a pair of shoes... this pair of shoes that is torturing me today... it's black with pink and orange ribbon. hahahaah.. then I went for a cheapo lunch.. haha.. only $4 cos guilty after buying the shoes. Went home late.. ard 11 plus and slept ard 12 plus.

Sun: Woke up at 830am cos me and another cg mate is assigned to help out in the flower decoration for my cgl. Me went to the place dressed in cargo pants, t-shirt and slippers and no make up. I brought my dress and shoes la.. So we reached there ard 10am and we helped till around 1plus. We did the flowers along the aisle and we place all the pebbles around the flowers and the ivys around the plants. It's very nice and romantic. We place the candles in the vase as well.. and we filled up vases after vases with water.. so the candles can float mah..After that I went to dress up. Wah.. then have to b usher for the wedding.. stand and open doors for people.. wah... am really hungry leh.. then ate a lot but feel uncomfortable because have to suck in tummy throughout.. ahahah.. if not my tummy will stick out!! Then after tat we went Starbucks to hang out.. we hanged till 10 plus and after that my fren sent us home and by the time we reached other fren's place.. we hanged at his coffee shop downstairs till 1am.. so yday I slept at 2am.. this morn I msged my col and tell her I'm taking 2 hours OIL.. for me to sleep in..

Today: think gg to be a late night too cos got wedding dinner.. endless engagement man.. faint liao..

Strangely we never appreciate a person until the person is no longer around...


Not that I am losing someone or that someone left me.. but I heard a story this afternoon on friendships. Suddenly I thought of this friend of mine. I got to know her in secondary school and throughout the whole 4 years we were in the same class. She got into Poly and I got into JC. And then we started working.. we have always been close. I never say that she is my best friend and she also never say that she is my best friend. But one thing is for sure, she is my very good friend. We don't have sleepovers we have overnight mahjong sessions, we don't double date we date liao then bring them out for each other to approve. We dun say I love you but we take time to be there for one another when things happen.

She is a smoker and a damn good drinker and I dun smoke and I cant drink to save my life. She is in close contact with a lot of our Sec Sch frens but I'm in contact with a few only. Hahah.. She knows about my family and I know about hers.. I hang out at her house very often and she never come to my house.

In summary, everyone needs to have one of this kind of friend. Who knows you very well, knows ur history, knows ur background, your fears, your delights and essentially you. Who can talk whatever with you. Who wont despise you when you tell them of ur wrongdoings.. who will encourage you when you tell them of your disappointments.. who will laugh with you when you tell them of your joy.. who will cry with you when you tell them of your sadness..

At one period of my life, I neglected her becos that time I am too engrossed in a new r/s with someone. That someone sort of replaced her position however she understands because she is also like tat.. but in the end, we will come together and catch up with one another on our life.. we talk about work now but I hope in future we can talk about our children and grandchildren together..

Yesterday I was in a fren's car and I was listening to this sermon by Rev A R Bernard. He is a really interesting speaker and he talked about matters of the heart.

He said that all scientists know that the brain remembers things and it stores all our memories. But then a new research came out that says that the heart remembers things too and it has memories of its own. And I was like wow... and he gave example of heart transplant patients that receive new hearts.. they will behave in a certain manner that is like the heart donor. One 52 year old man that loves Classical music change his taste in music after he receives a heart from a 19 year old boy. He started to like Rock music after the transplant. Another example is that a little girl that receives a heart from another little girl that was murdered dreamt of the incident. And she told the police about the whole thing and the police had a sketch of the murderer face after she describe him to them. They then arrested the guy and found further proof of the murder.. WooOooo scary... like horror movie like tat..

What is the conclusion to this? He then said that men and women think differently. For women to remember things or incidents.. they remember what they felt at that time first then they remember more details.. whereas for guys.. they remember the details then the feelings.. And he said it is not fair to the guys.. ahahah.. true.. cos in this case, we will remember things faster than the guys.

Some people do things based on what their brain tells them to.. others do things based on what their heart tells them to. And in certain things, we cannot get the 2 to agree.. and that is when we have conflicts. Actually being a head person is so much better than a heart person, because when you make a mistake based on the choices you made with your mind, you can try to make it better, forget about it or ignore it. But those mistakes that you made with your heart, it is difficult to ignore, forget or make it better... it will break your heart, it would create heartache and it is difficult to mend no matter how much you or your mind wants to. The heart has a will of its own. It chooses to give itself to whoever it wants and we have no choice over it. That's why we must guard our heart..

Memories in our hearts is often bittersweet... often we think back on it and asked ourselves why din we enjoy that moment more.. why din we cherish the time more.. why din we treasure the seconds that went by more...

And in the end, we are thankful that at least we had those moments... but we are also sad that we still have those memories..

I worked till 5am this morning.. in my office with my 2 bosses. This is the first time I am so hardworking. I think the last time I worked till so late was when I was working in an events company and they are doing the set up in the shopping centres.

Actually we do not need to stay back till so late one but THEN!!! the stupid HP laser colour printer is so slow and it is very moody.. it will happily print and then halfway stop and said error in printing... and I have to delete the file and then reprint again. But then the printer wont be able to receive the data or wat la.. it will not print and it will only print out the stupid test page. Then when it finally start to print.. it will have a streak of blue or pink or yellow line across the page.. argghh!!! make me bloody pissed!!

Finally we used one of the bosses' individual colour printer to get the slides out.. and tat is why we stayed so late.. COS OF A HP LASER COLOUR PRINTER!!!

I think I still need to help them arrange for some things even though they are over there.. some of the appts are still not confirmed yet. But then dun think going to stay back today to do it.. too tired liao.. but will email those ppl again to ask them for confirmation.

Think going to tell my bosses next time plan trip.. plan those that is within our time zone one!!!!

Yesh! I am still in the office.. clearing my stuff for the major business mission on Wed! My bosses are flying off then so have to settle the stuff for this trip. Just now I am wrapping the corporate gifts that they are bringing over.. I realise now I have achieve the skill to wrap one gift in less then 3 mins.. hahaah.. and it is nicely done too..

Went to Beyond concert on Sat and it is really good. The band is fantastic.. the sound system really helps in improving the concert atmosphere.. I guess the sound equipment is brought over by them from HK. Even though I bought the $138 ticket, I can still feel the beats at the area I am sitting at. They sang really well.. all their older songs as well as the newer and more popular ones. They then showed video clips of their past albums and their concerts. Then after a while, they showed the sound clips of "Wong Ka Kui" and the things he said. It is so touching.. I rem he said something like.. "Music is very important to everyone. Poor man or rich man also need music" and he also said that without music he will die. Of course the brother sang a song dedicated to him and he did not shed a tear.. which actually all of us were hoping he will la..

When the group sing songs like Love, Paradise , 海闊天空, 大地, 長城 and 情人 of course.. the crowd goes screaming.. cos these are the songs that is so familiar to us and to them.. these are the more popular songs..

At one point, when Paul (the cousin) was talking.. my fren shouted out "Leng Zai" and he sort of smile.. cos the stadium is so quiet so I think they heard.. haahha.. later will upload the pics for you all...

I am here for 15 mins already and all I have done is read through the emails and give myself stress.. haiz.. dun understand why oh why they want everything to be planned so perfectly.. dun they want things to be a bit free and easy so that it is much more relaxed instead of rushing from places to places with no breather with all the appts packed back to back. They always ask lots of questions but when we give them back the answers they dun like and then they will skip the event. So in the end, it is a waste of my time looking for the answers right. I guess that is the role of the small fry like me.

I had a nightmare on Sunday.. I think the nightmare came because I had difficulty sleeping.. I toss and turn for about half to one hour before falling asleep. The dream was about a haunted building. It is haunted as it was burned down previously and people died in it. Then the house became a school and it was scary. Anyway that's wat I remember about the nightmare.

Wow.. was really tired, what's more it is sucky Monday yesterday.. cant get myself into work mode..

I am stuck in a rut now.. I do not know what to do and where to go. I'm confused by what I am hearing and seeing.. and I do not know whether those things are real or false. I cant get over it and it is always in my head.. the words and the actions and the images.. if only I have a magic wipe for those memories in my head then it would be so much better. If only we can make up our mind about our actions and decisions then it wont be so tough. But no one is brave enough to come out and do it and so it remains and it bothers me and it tortures me and it irritates me...

Think I shld do something about it and get rid of it once and for all!! But then I will be quite aggressive right.. haiz.. u cant win either way..

This has been a packed week. Yesterday I had a presentation for one of the exhibition coming up. I have no idea what is it all about but I just went ahead. So for the first slide, i quickly went over it and then I went to the second slide. Then my"shi-fu" interrupted and went through the things for the first slide.. ahahah.. this happened quite often. What I mostly do is to read out the first line of the slide and I will stop and my "shi-fu" will continue. And they also very often use the technical jargons like ETA, ETD or DB. What I did is write them down and then after the whole meeting I asked them about it.

On Wed night my cg fren msged me and asked me if the S11 near my house sells cold dessert. I said dun have but then the 3 storey high market would have. So he said he is coming over with another cg fren and asked me if I wan to come along. So I said ok.. but then I told them I would not be wearing make up so ask them dun be scared.. ahhaha.. and he said yah they will prepare themselves for it.. So we went there and there are very little stores open. And I am a bit pai seh cos I told them that there sure will be a cold dessert stall. Finally after some searching there is one stall that is still selling though it looked as if it is closing soon.. yeah! so we ate and talked at the place until around 1am.. so after that they sent me home.. it was quite nice.. just that the stench of the market is way too strong for me.. yucks! i dun like it!

My company just started a new thing.. it is dress down Friday!! But!! I cant dress down today as I have an event going on later.. haiz.. wat's more I'm wearing a jacket.. but then after I take off my jacket, it looked less formal.. cos I am wearing a spaghetti inside.. today I might be meeting a fren for coffee/supper after class so I was thinking how to be unformal and formal at the same time. So without jacket is unformal and with jacket is formal.. good good..


Oh ya.. V's grandfather just passed away.. so I was thinking maybe tonight or tomorrow night I might want to go down to the wake.. but kinda weird.. so I might ask my another sec sch fren along. But if she dun wanna go then I wont go liao.. see how ba..

Haiz.... everytime my advertising result will be the lousiest.. For my adv. dip course I also have the lousiest result for my advertising module. But the ironic thing is my fave module is advertising leh.. And I really like to attend classes on advertising cos sometimes it is just so interesting.. They will show interesting commercials and tell us what is respond of the target audience to the adverts.

My new male colleague hor.. Really cannot make it leh.. He ate with us on Monday rite then yesterday and today hor.. He disappeared leh.. Think he went off to have lunch on his own or with his "friend". I mean that is just so unfriendly lor.. Even though we are all girls but then still can join us one mah.. And not like we ostracize him or wat. We haven't had time to ostracize him, he already run far far away from us liao.. hahaha.. Anyway good la cos I dun really like him.. Yday we were discussing about him during lunch and that before I say anything about him, they were saying that they dun really like him liao.. whahahah.. One said it is also cos he speaks with a slang.. Then I said maybe he studied overseas so like that mah but then my colleague said that so wat.. He is not overseas now mah.. Come back to Spore no need to speak slang English wat.. hmm.. Which is true also..

Ah.. One of my new colleague is leaving.. She has a better job offer.. Actually my company asked to sign the appt letter on the actual day so she signed it. But at that point in time she is also pending replies from some other companies. So this other company came back with a better package so she told my mgmt about it.. She is a nice girl.. Too bad she is leaving..

The weekend passes by so quickly.. I don't even have a chance to take a breather and here we are.. Another Monday!

I am actually stressed over the work during the weekend as I am afraid that things might not be able to be settled and it is true lor.. Things are hard to be settled. Haiz.. So many things need to be done and it's tough to make decisive actions when people dun give u answers straight away..

What is worse is that this week I am having lessons till next Thurs. Which means I cannot stay back to do my work.. jia lat..

Anyway I will try my best and I pray that God will help me in all ways..

And I just dun like him lor.. dunno why leh.. cos he is wearing pink shirt today? No ah.. cos he is plump? Not really ah.. cos he sounds a bit show off when he talk about his church activities? A bit la... hmm... But I shall try to ermm.. Like him la.. cos all in all we are still colleagues mah... But then hor.. My reaction to a person when I see him for the first or second time and I got the negative feeling rite.. Most of the time the person will turn out to be irritating one.. hhaahah.. My theory la..

Yesterday I had a marathon meeting leh.. I met with my 2 directors from 2pm to 5.45pm.. Imagine that!! It's scary.. and so I stayed back till 8pm to clear my stuff. It is always like tat in cases like this.. you got tons of things to clear when a meeting is over..

After that I went out with QP and her bf. They came to pick me up and we went to KFC at my place for dinner. I had their spicy drumlets and it is nice.. I tried the garlic ones.. haahah.. I'm really going to be fat leh.. And I met someone from my previous company. It is a couple that used to own the cafe at my previous company and we got to talking the company and stuff and they said that they are very unhappy with one of my ex-col.. the senior accts auntie.. I shall not call her lady cos she is not! Anyway I told them that she is no longer there too and I am no longer there also. Hhahaa... and the guy can really talk leh.. he is really really lor so lor.. goes on and on about the things.. uncle is really uncle..

Oh.. one more thing.. Mich is still in Spore and she is leaving next Mon. She is suggesting that we go to JB. Actually I'm ok with the idea.. just that Jo is not really for it. Anyway see how la.. scarly she wants to spend more time with ZW then we are redundant liao...

Yesterday I went down to Somerset to pick up my loan application form and haaha.. I saw lots of the SCDF ppl around the area.. And I was thinking wat’s up with these ppl.. Right in front of Singtel there is a red van/lorry with 2 guys on top with huge guns and one on the road.. With huge guns too.. And inside my heart I was thinking.. Huh.. ppl wan to bomb Singtel meh.. Not as if the antenna is there lor.. Or issit they wanna protect PowerGas.. Also no use wat.. Not like the control for gas is there.. Then after I picked up my application I went back to the mrt station and there I see another 6 of them.. Think maybe they are changing shifts or wat.. dunno why but I see them like kinda redundant leh.. Not that I dun trust them but then how reliable are they in spotting terrorists and potential bomb threats They are simply walking around acting tough.. Do they think by doing that they will scare off the Bombers.. haizz... No lor.. If the bomber is bent on destruction.. He can simply walk to the middle of the station and detonate himself before they can lift a finger to shoot at him.. The thing here is prevention and not protection.. Different leh..

After that I met up with a church fren for dinner.. We went to eat bak ku teh at Bugis.. Too bad the pig’s kidney ran out.. I simply love to eat tat esp if it is nice and fresh and crunchy and smooth.. WoooOooo.. So we ate pig’s liver and the normal bak ku teh lor.. Plus salted veggies.. hee hee my fave.. Too bad my fren dun eat pig’s trotters.. If not I sure order one..

After that we went to eat the nice mango dessert.. Nice! Actually I wanted to go visit A’s mum one.. But cos it is already ard 9plus by then so I think she has already close shop so I din go.. kinda miss them leh.. haizz..

Think I eat a lot these few days.. Might cut down cut down... Tonight I’m gg to eat lettuce only.. hahahah.. Like real ah..

Yesterday I went Seoul Garden for dinner and I ate like a pig!! I ate tons of food and tons of prawns!! haahah.. ZJ's sis kept cooking prawns for me and kept piling it on my plate.. then I asked her.. is it she cooked 5 pieces, 3 pieces give me and 2 pieces she will take? She said no.. cos I use the utensils to eat so I'm slow.. she use fingers so she is faster.. anyway we ate till we wanna vomit.. and ZJ really went home and vomit.. so wasted man the food.. me? I shat it out today.. hahaah..

Today I made a colossal mistake at work! We are suppose to have a meeting this morning and I called up a few companies to ask them to meet up. Then last min, we cancelled and I called the companies to let them know. And I actually forgot about one of them and it happens that he is one of the big shots (not the very big ones but one of them).. so he appeared in the office this morn and my director ask me how come I never told him about the cancellation. Then I said he did not reply so I forgot about it. Anyway thank God that he is a nice guy so he did not make a big fuss about it.

Me now having a big headache over the accommodations and transportation for the US mission. And wat's more.. me worried about my end of the year trip to US.. scared that when I come back I dun have money.. cos unpaid leave mah..

Actually I did not get rejected. hahaahah...I saw the guy when I went to church on Fri night and he asked me if I msged him. Then I said yes.. Then he said as his hp is spoiled so he cant received.. Then I was like Ohh... so tat why. Then he said why not I pass you another hp no so that if I cancel the other one I can still contact him on another no. Then I said ok. So he passed it to me.. Then I told him I got to go back to my ministry and he said ok. Later he msged and told me he got to go first as he is meeting his fren. Then I said ok. Sat night he msged me and asked me where am I. And I said at home watching TV and he was shocked. And asked me how come I never go out. Then I said I am. Gg to have coffee with frens later. They will come pick me up. Then after tat no more replies. Think his hp really got prob la.

I realized something leh. I realized that even when you said you have no regrets right... u would still have regrets one.

Sigh I rem last time when I was with A. And I was still at my previous company... whenever I stayed over at his place during weekdays in the morning before he leave for work. He would give me a hug and kiss while I was still in bed. I really miss tat. It was such a sweet feeling. Made me feel secure and treasured and loved. And the same goes for me. If I had to wake up earlier than him and had to leave for work and he was still sleeping. I would give him a hug and kiss. But as he is an early riser. Sometimes he would wake up and send me downstairs.

Well it is all in the past.

Love is too tough for me to understand... I know it is out there but I’m not sure I recognize it. And I’m not sure I can give it or feel it...

Another busy day for me.. and I realise that I messed up my itinerary for one of my trip!! And the worse part is that I sent out the letters and emails to those companies with the wrong dates!!

Anyway I'm stressed out liao... gg for some relaxation now...

I sent this guy a sms last week and he did not reply.. it is a general one like how's ur day and such and how come no sound from him for the past few days.. Then during Zhong Qiu Jie.. I also sent him a message and also no sound.. ok la.. tat one is sent like 3am in the morning so kinda expected.. then yesterday I msged him asking him again how's his day.. around 10 plus at night and also no reply leh!!! Wow.. think i genna rejected liao.. haahah..

I did not call him or wat.. cos we never really talk on the phone before.. nvm la.. just wait and see ba... hahaa

Yesterday I saw V on msn and he asked me wat is the song that I mentioned to him about the last time we went to town together.. I was confused... huh? town? the last time we went town is like 2-3 months ago issit? How can I remember? Then he sent the song over to me thru msn and then halfway he cut off.. he said he will burn the song together with other songs into a CD for me.. Then I asked him in wat format and he said audio.. then I was like huh? then how to listen.. then I said ok lor.. then at home at night i can listen to it.. then he said.. yah that is the point mah.. hahaha.. he wants me to think of him at night.. ahahah

It's strange that I am so low profile these few days.. think is because I'm really busy at work and am too tired to go out. Another reason is that I am short of cash.. hahaha.. Last sun I actually stayed at home instead of going out. I mean I can ask ppl to come out and stuff but then am too lazy to do that and is too broke to go out. Hahah.. Sat I was celebrating the Mid Autumn Festival with my Sec Sch frens.. we hanged out at the park of one of my frens block.. We bought fireworks and candles and lanterns.. haha.. and we proceed to be childish.. they lined up the candles around the sitting area and I placed them in heart shape to take photo.. dun look like it.. looks deformed.. hahah... after tat we went to my fren's home to play cards.. we played Heart Attack and after that Donkey!! hahahaah... But it is fun la..

Sunday I watched Wedding Crashers and it is true.. it is not as funny as I thought.. The Longest Yard is better..

Yesterday I went dinner with my cousins and one of our long time friend.. When u reach a certain age.. I guess there is a limit to the things u all can talk about.. first is work, second is family and third is marriage.. we all complained about our working colleagues.. then before that we asked after each others family members and updated them on wat happened. Then we will talk about who is getting married and who has tons of children already.. haahah.. yah and we will talk about which area has got the best flats and at wat price.. haiz.. so out of my league.. cant contribute la..

My colleague irritates me again!!!!!!!!!


This morning we got a good response for one of our project and this project is now being handled by me and my mktg asst. Previously it is being handled by my irritating colleague. So when I received the email, I discussed with my mktg asst and then gave a series of instructions to her. Then when the irritating colleague came in and saw the email.. she quickly rushed over and asked me if I had seen it.. then I said yes. Then she asked me what am I going to do about it. Then I told her that I had already gave some instructions to my mktg asst. Then she still questioned me about the sequence of the instructions.. I mean wat's the big deal man!!! We know what are the issues involved wat.. not as if we are new!! Then she quickly rushed over to my mktg asst and tell her wat to do.. I am so pissed!!

I already told my mktg asst liao and wat is her role in this except being kpo? It makes me feel like I'm working under her for his project when in actual fact she is the one that abandon the project to us.. cos she is so busy with her other projects.. if so busy then got time to kpo here meh? she wan to kpo is because the response is good mah.. if response is not good, she will just make stupid remarks like.. u got call the members to ask them a not? and you got try the public a not? not as if she will be so proactive and call the ppl themselves.. but this one.. wahhh... she very fast go call the supplier that we have got a good response.. so that the event can go on.. then her tone when she talked to the supplier is super hao lian lor.. very siao zhang!!! cannot take it!! Ma de... spoil my morning..

Goodness it is Friday again.. the week passes by so fast.. which tells us one thing.. that time flies!!!!

Do you know last time when I was studying in primary school and we will have those month long holidays.. I will enjoy every moment of it. And during the last week of the holidays I will get depressed.. I will cry and think of how fast time flies and how come school is starting soon.. hahah.. even when young I have a sense of how time is precious. I can still vividly remember the day I took my O level A maths exam. I can remember the morning when I stood at the bus stop waiting for the bus to go to school. I told myself to remember this moment and that the fear and anxiety will be over soon.. and after that I will have nothing to do with Maths anymore. Hahahah.. come to think of it.. it is almost 8 years ago.. wahh.. I'm so old already..

Sometimes I think that time is too precious to be wasted.. Why get angry at someone u love.. Kiss and make up.. I would rather spend my limited time laughing and enjoying with my loved ones then being angry with them.. hahah.. which is why I get over my anger very quickly. Do I get pissed often? Hmm... I don't think so.. I might get irritated but really angry.. no la.. But with regards to work related stuff then maybe I will really flare up.

I went to watch The Longest Yard on Tues with my church fren. It is a really funny show.. and I just love Adam Sandler.. he is very funny.. just like Ben Stiller.. another funny guy. The show is about how the inmates in a prison got together as a football team and played against their warden. Adam Sandler is a former football player that loses favour after he kelonged in a game. After that he faded into obscurity. And he surfaced in the prison after he smashed his ex-gf car.. she deserved it as she wanted to force him to wear an ugly sailor outfit.. wahhahah... it is a hilarious show.. I laughed from the beginning to the end..

I got a surprise message yday from E. He has disappeared for almost 2 months and suddenly he messaged me yday.. and the stupid thing is that he messaged me cold jokes.. hahaha.. cannot tahan.. cold jokes without answers somemore!! So I replied him and asked him for the answers and he said he do not know too as his fren had not replied him.. then after a while he sent me the answers and another few cold jokes.. hahaah.. and I got one of them right!!

Yday V called me and told me that he bought me a t-shirt from BKK.. I was shocked!! Huh? Erm.. wat does that mean? I hope he does not have any funny intention about it.. I mean just like a fren goes overseas and buy something for another fren la hor.. pai seh leh.. I also hope that the t-shirt is not ugly or too big.. if like tat huh... then mayb I will wear to sleep only.. ahahaha..

A piece of good news to share.. I got confirmed by the company liao. Yesterday my director asked me to go into her office.. and she instructed me on certain things.. then she took out an envelope and gave it to me.. then I heard her say congratulations.. you have been confirmed. And I increase your pay by $300... Then I was extremely happy leh!! $300 leh!!!! Wow.. tat's more than the usual amount...

Then when I got to my desk and open up the letter.. Chey... it is only $200!!! Which is the standard rate around here.. I am so disappointed!!! God!!! I prayed for unexpected bonus and promotion and increment and this is a standard increment wat!!! But still I thank God for it. It's ok.. I know God will bless me in another more incredible way cos He is good.

Yesterday I went over to my grandparents' place as I happened to be on the same bus as my dad and he said my mum is over there.. so I went over too..

My auntie brought her dog to my grandparent's place and when my grandma saw the dog, she started calling it's name "Kinky" and asked the dog if she wants to eat durian.. (the dog loves to eat durian.. A's dog last time also the same).. and the dog began to run around in circles.. they do that when they are extremely excited.. haha.. So my grandmother cut some durian that my another auntie bought for her and then my grandma said come come.. we go find your mother.. Then I was like huh? wahahahah... my auntie is the mother of the dog!! ahahah...
