Bella turns 6!

Bella's birthday was April 9th and she turned six!!  We started off taking treats to her class.  She wanted rice krispy treats.  I got to her class only to find Bella with a bloody mouth and the rest of her class outside playing.  It was good timing on my part because Bella had just gotten hit in the mouth accidentally by another student and her tooth was about to fall out.  So I was able to grab it and take it home.  She was so happy!!  Her second tooth on her birthday.

We then went to the park for lunch to hang out with Rachel and her cute boys and then we had Bella's birthday party!  It was a fairy tea party.  All the girls dressed up and we ate scones, pb&j sandwiches and cookies.  We played a fun game and then opened presents.  ** Bella was so good all day waiting to open her presents.  when I grew up we opened them first thing in the morning. ** She got lots of great gifts from her friends.

Then they all went outside to make their own fairy house out of all things natural outside.  they were all pretty creative.  If you haven't seen how fun fairy houses can be for kids you should check out this link  Fairyhouses.com. Afterwards, Adam let bella pick a restaurant to eat dinner at, which was chili's.

We recently had a service auction at church and I bid on a child's birthday cake so a sister from our ward make bella's birthday cake.  Bella chose the cake, it was a cute kitty.  Amy spent a lot of time on this cake.  It was so cute!!  I have to admit it was nice to not have to make one.   I barely pulled a party off and I was drained.  Bella got pretty spoiled!  She got a barbie computer for her birthday!

One last sad thing that happened... Adam and I forgot to inform the tooth fairy to come that night and it made for a sad morning the next morning.  But the tooth fairy did come the next night.

Easter Weekend!

So Easter weekend was filled with a great surprise!  My Dad had to go to China to give some things to Skip and my mom wasn't really up for the trip right now so she dropped him off at the airport in Salt Lake and drove on down to hang out with us over Easter.  We were so happy, especially the girls.  It was also nice to have her around since Adam has been working such late hours.

So we of course had to go enjoy the southern weather for Easter since it just snowed... yuck!!  So we took mom to hike the Red Cliffs.  If you haven't been on this cute hike you need too!!!  Its a great hike for kids and it leads to three little water falls and a favorite repelling spot.  Oh and here is me and my huge tummy.

The whole time the girls just wanted to play in the sand that was the whole trail, so constantly we were stopping so they could pick up sand and drain it through their hands along the trail.  they loved it.

At the very end you hike through a little water which is a welcome enjoyment.  Then Adam had to hike up a very rocky place to see what was above.  Looks pretty safe uh??   Bella wanted to hike around the first pool and luckily didn't fall in.  Had we been more prepared we definitely would have played in the water.  It was such a warm day!  But the girls played in the water with their hands.  On the way back the girls had a bit of attitude and Lili just wanted to do what she wanted to do and Adam told her no, which she yelled in reply around a ton of people.. You are not the boss of me!!!  Everyone was laughing around us, it was pretty funny. Then we did a little weenie roast.

We tried to go to the Enoch easter egg hunt but were a second to late and with that many kids the girls only got about 2 to 3 eggs a piece so we decided to have one at home.  We did it on Sunday and the EAster bunny left lots of eggs to hide and gold coins in the eggs as well.  they loved, loved, loved it!!  Easter was the best day ever of course.
Oh and Grandma bought the girls some Easter dresses.  Originally the twins only had matching dresses and then Bella said she wanted to be the same as her sisters so all three have the same easter dresses and have worn them every day since.

the Magic Bullet!

I'm sure you are wondering if I just bought this magic bullet but the answer is no.  Every morning the girls wake up earlier than me and its great now because they can just turn on a cartoon.  Well this morning I woke up to the all the girls watching the infomercial for the magic bullet.  I walk in and Lili says... I love that casad quesadilla mom and Bella saying she wants this for her birthday and is wining for me to get it for her.  Isn't that the funniest thing ever.  They watched the whole thing they said.  I think its a good thing they don't have their own credit card.  A funny moment I don't want to forget.
