To those who are reading, this will be the first of many records of my dreams.
Dreams that tell stories of my various adventures.

With exhaustion, my eyes opened with blurred vision. Darkness was all I could see. After a few quick blinks, an image gradually appeared of a black haired girl lying face flat down on the sand.
The girl was me.
Except for her lifeless body, nothing else could be seen around the leveled ground of sparkling sand under the soft warm sunlight. As I approached her, the girl awoke to clasp a handful of sand, obviously not noticing me at all.And that's when I realized, even I could not see myself.
Her expression was as dead as her now unmoving body. It was as if I was alive but not there, while she was there but not alive. A silent moment passed then all of a sudden, the sand beneath us was disappearing. As the ocean water quickly consumed the sand, the girl rose to her feet and stood on the surface of the calm blue water."Hey Trisha!" A person called out from behind me. "Run!"
It was Saly, my second roommate who I was living with this year. Before we could react to her words, the water rose high above our head. Like a flip of the blanket, waves came dashing towards us one after another until the girl was thrown into the air. Landing down on her feet, the girl smoothly rode through the waves. Laughter came from Saly and the girl smiled with glistening eyes. She felt alive.
I was suppose to be a bystander, seeing her gliding through the clear water. Yet, I could feel what she felt, and see what she saw.The girl and I was now one person.
Like the calm after the storm, the water sank back as the sand emerged once again. I stood with bare feet, looking down at the sand where a new body of water was rising in its place. However, something strange happened. The Earth became black.
I stood unsteadily and stared in horror at what looked like gasoline filling up the whole world. What's left of the sand was now a tiny island enough for only my two feet, causing me to be unable to move an inch. The black water terrified me like no other. It was now completely silent and all I could hear was my own breathing. That was the first time I knew what it felt like to be the last person on earth.
Panic pierced through my heart. I suddenly felt extremely alone and completely trapped. The beautiful sunlight from before now burned straight through my skin. That's when a thought came over me; one I've never considered:
I wanted to kill myself.
Nevertheless, it was harder than I thought. I anxiously looked around to find a weapon of some sort but nothing could be seen underwater. With no other way out, I did the only thing I could to escape the loneliness. I stared at the dark water for a while then closed my eyes.
I jumped.
