Yet another beachy post!

Hello folks!
That's right, as the title suggests, today I had another trip to the rather lovely beach. We have been having some glorious sunshine for the past couple of days! Woof!

(This past week though, Eve had a freezing cold school trip to Loch Insh, and they did canoeing in the snow on Thursday. At least she got to come home to some warmish weather!)

They cycled to see me last night. Yesterday, there were no clouds at all!
Oh dear. This is so embarrassing.
They came and took me to the beach this morning, woof!
I had a lovely time zooming about...
But it was a bit too hot. 18 degrees Celsius actually, woof!
(that's probably really cold to some sun worshippers)
So Grace and Eve enticed me into the sea. Woof!
I was a bit reluctant and unsure, so they just took me to a shallow bit, where there were rocks to stand on.

"This water stuff is cold, can we go back Eve?"
In that picture, the water was about up to my doggy knees, but I cheated and stood on the rocks. Woof!

I got a wee bitty wet...
And there were some clouds coming over.
The sun stayed out though!
Woof!
I befriended a dog smaller than me, because I am a coward around big ones!
And waited patiently while they dried their feet...
And then my folks came to see me at the beach!
For those of you who don't know:
Eve and Grace are my owner's granddaughters, not my owners, woof!
Eve helps out with the blogging.
My owners are both in their eighties.
They are old, woof!

They drove back home in the car, and I had to walk back with Grace, Eve and their parent people.

We walked around the back of Pets at Home, and there were some wild bunny rabbits!

Play with me, woof!
Why are you running away?!
Eve said maybe they are just rabbits the pet shop couldn't sell, so they let them free!
Then I reminded her you get a lot of rabbits in Aberdeen.

What sort of wild animals do you have in your area? And how hot was it where you were today?

The clouds are coming over now, so I'll say bye bye.
Thanks for visiting,
Pippa :) wuf wuf

  1. What a great beach you get to visit. We have lots of wildlife - birds, deer, wild turkeys, groundhogs, otters, horses, racoons, porcupines (although we haven't seen one), skunks, foxes - those are the ones we can think off.

    Phod would love your beach!

Have a great day. Lee and Phod

  6. HI Pippa
That looks like a nice beach that you go to visit with your humans doing zommies on the sand is always great fun. We get lovely honeyeater birds and many kinds of parrot in our backyard. Plus sometimes we also get blue tongue lizards.

  9. Wow you were lucky with the weather Pippa - cloudy and cool down here in Ayrshire. It looks like you had a great time.
Last week while driving the car a family of deer (3 of them) ran out in front of us to cross the country road - scared me to death. Luckily we weren't going fast so we were able to allow them on their way without any damage to car or animal.

  13. Hi Pippa, I have never been to the beach, but it looks like fun. It is nice here in Michigan today about 70 and we are having a cookout!! I love cookouts cause I get burgers from the grill. They are the best! We have lots of bunnies and raccoons and sometimes we get deer in our yard. They are huge and scare me. Have a fun day

  14. That's a fantastic walk. Any time you're getting a tummy rub is NOT embarrassing.

  15. Hi Pippa! Thanks for stopping by my blog! We worked in the yard all day again today. We were lucky it wasn't too hot...got to a high of about 65 F (18.3 C)...but it was sunny all day! Katie stayed out with us all day too, supervising to make sure we got it right.

  16. That's wonderful that you get to go to the beach so often; it's a nice place to run. It's been cold here too, hardly spring-like weather.

  17. I'm so glad you got to the beach again, Pippa. I love it and have even learned NOT to drink that funny water. We were going to go to the coast last week, but all it did was rain, rain, rain. And got cold....

  18. What a pawsome outing Pippa. We had to *BOL* though...18 degrees is pretty much a winters day for us here in South Africa, in fact it is around 18 degrees today and we are all complaining that it's cold *BOL*

  19. It must be nice to have so many willing slaves to take care of you Pippa :)
We are just a few minutes walk from the beach ourselves but it is only really Elliot who likes it.

  21. What a fun time at the beach with the family. We live in a rural area next to a pond, so once the sun goes down, we can hear the wildlife, and if we use a flashlight, we can usually see eyes staring back at us.

  22. Pippa you look like you had so much fun at the beach! Kirby went to the beach too this weekend! Actually the little dog you befriended looks a lot like kriby! haha

  23. Pippa, what a wonderful trip to the beach! This past weekend was beautiful, sun was shining but we didn't venture to the beach - just stayed at home. Today it is raining cats and dogs. *sigh* I love those bunnies! I have bunnies all in my neighborhood and I love to chase/hunt them. (Ma says I need to say that I am NOT allowed to catch them)

  24. Pippa, what a PAWSOME day. Zooming at the beach is probably one of the best things in the world EVER. It's great that you are having sunshine in Aberdeen!!!!

You were very well behaved with those rabbits - She says I can't be trusted around them (I of course beg to differ!).

  25. Hi, Pippa!
Wow! You had a good time at the beach! I don't like cold water, either.
In south Wales where I live, I often see foxes, squirrels, herons, rabbits, hedgehogs and moles, too. But my favourite are sheep although they are not wild. Lol!
    Have a wonderful week!

  26. We sleep in a country next to a lake, therefore once the sun goes down, we are able to hear the life, and if we have a tendency to use a electric lamp, we are able to typically see eyes staring back at North American nation.Challenge coins
