Today I want to tell you about Design Pack No. 2 for the Colour Couture French Country Colours Collection : )

Just before I do that, & especially for those who missed the introduction of Colour Couture & the introduction of the first design pack & haven't got a clue what I'm talking about, here's a quick recap : )

The Ribbon Girl February Colour Challenge ~ Turquoise

There's a brand new Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge today. And the colour palette this month is 'Turquoise'.

I have to admit, turquoise is not a colour I use very often. I think we all have colours we're absolutely & totally in love with - colours that we're just drawn to using when we're putting a card together. And turquoise is not usually one of those colours for me. So, I found creating a card with turquoise quite a challenge. But ... that's the point of a Challenge isn't it? To take us out of our creative comfort zone and experiment a little.

Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge ~ Shades Of Lavender

There's a brand new Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge today : ) And the colour palette this month is gorgeous - 'Shades of Lavender'.

And these are my cards : ) I made two cards which are essentially the same. I've used the same pattern, layout and colour palette for both of them. I've just styled them slightly differently.
