wow I can't believed it's only 5am in the mornng and I am fully awake. Well, of cause I wish I were sleeping right now but the problem is I can't sleep. No matter how I told myself repeatedly that I'm tired, I need rest, I want to sleep.... My mind keeps running about - idlely... this is bad, terrible. An idle mind is a dangerous field. So instead of letting my mind wondering away, I should make full use of this time span. Let's blog.
Had Jim Gary for dinner or I should say supper last night with Gareth, Steff, Terence, Siti, Samantha, James, Jiti and Rachel. The reason I say it's dinner going to be supper is because by the time we leave the office, it's already already 7.30pm. Terence was good enough to pick Gareth, Steff and myself up at Springleaf. As usual, we went to vivo city as the 1st batch, our mission is to take the Queue and chop a table. Surprisingly, there wasn't any queue, yet there isn't any table that can accommodate the 9 of us. The waiter namely Raymond was kind to offer me a seat during the time of the wait.
The 4 of us were starving liket crazing, this time I can really eat a cow. It's half past 8 and there ain't any sign of the rest. We ended with no choice but to order some Fa Lan Xi Duo Si aka French Toast but I called in Sai Tou Xi (that's the cantonese name which Terence kept debetting that it's just called French Toast, to prove him wrong, I read out the item name in cantonese from the chinese wordings).
I would give a 7/10 for it because it was served in the correct temperature and the peanut butter is just nice, the only negative part was they gave too much butter and they didn't provide the honey or whatever they call it. Nah~ other than that it's quite nice, especially when Gareth had cut it into smaller bite size making it easy for us to kop.
It's almost 9, still there ain't no sign of the rest... we had to order our food first else we would die out of hunger. I ordered a Pork Chop with black pepper sauce meal which cost me $12.90. It was served together with brosch or cream soup, garlic bread and a drink. Yin Yong ICE! This definately tasted better than their famous Hong Kong Milk Tea, gosh! Steff ordered their new dish-stone grilled unagi rice. Gareth had a lamb chop and Terence ordered a combo, boy he must be very hungry...
The rest of the folks finally strolled in some time when our food was being served. Not going into details on the food they ordered. Sometimes, it's really the company that matters. It's a rare occussion that I would join them for an event like this. Most of the time, I would be needed to rush back to visit Janine or to prepare dinner for my dad. So my out-of-office hours are very precious. Almost didn't make it this time because I almost left at 630pm when I was so so hungry, luckily Gareth when SHELL station to grab some snacks. Gee~
We left the place at about 10+ took a cab home together with Siti. Reached home at about 11pm. Wy wasn't feeling well, he had a running nose. Boiled some balley last night it should be ready by now. Will tabao one bottle for him and myself later. Boiled Chinese Tea for him too... it's so nice to have a cup of hot tea when you are having flu. Watch sccocer with him till past mid-night, and I thought I should be tired but till now I am not feeling sleepy, not even a bit....maybe it due to the YinYong I drank last night? Hmm.. think of it, this might be the reason...
Enough said. I think I better catch some rest before I turned myself into a zombie tomorrow at work... Tata~
