Truman's 5th grade camp!

Truman went to 5th grade camp and we couldn't resist sending him a funny package full of cookies!  The bummer is, he left the package opened and the squirrels got most of the cookies! Luckily he and his buddies each got one!

Utah Valley Marathon 2012

Clear back a year ago or so, all of these girls decided to sign up for the Utah Valley Marathon, even though I was determined to run St. George and had already committed.  Some how, I got suckered in and decided it would be ok....a great way to celebrate my 40th year....wowza!

Here we are getting our numbers the day before....we even convinced Suzette to run the half marathon....a huge accomplishment for us and her!

Bad photo, but this was up at the top...in Walsburg before the race! Higgy, me, Laurie, Kathy and Jill

Dear Leigh Anne was on the course and got some fun photos of all of us, I don't know how I mustered a smile and a wave....it was right there at mile 16 that I started to cramp.  The crazy winds had just worn me down.
We did it! We finished, but no one accomplished their goals....bummer.
Kathy wanted to qualify for Boston, missed it by 4 minutes.
Laurie wanted to not cramp....did the last 5 miles or so.
I wanted to break 4 hours, missed it by 40 seconds.
I blame it on stopping and hugging my family about 3 miles out....but that's ok, I needed those hugs more than anything!
Here are all the marathoners, so so glad to be done!  It was Jill's and Higgy's firsts....and maybe lasts?
Now we are on for training for St. George!

Choe turns 14!

Chloe turned 14 on June 8, 2012
She had cheer practice early in the morning, so I surprised her with a sweetroll cake!

A couple days later, Chloe had a get together with her girlfriends and she picked chocolate dipped chocolate chip cookies!  They were huge and almost too much to handle...almost!

T-bird b-ball!

The first week of summer, Rock and Tru went to the Timpview basketball camp.  Rock didn't like the shirt and wanted me to put a big X over it!  This tough little kid, so dedicated to his brother's team!
