Last Day of School & First Day of Summer

On one of the first days of summer, we journeyed up to City Creek in SL and to the children's museum at the Gateway! Such a fun way to kick off the warm weather!

Jive Dance Concert Weekend

Every May, we are a part of the Jive Dance Concert....and yes it is the whole weekend, but we love it!

Chloe especially!

This girl loves dancing and performing and she comes ALIVE!

She is so fun to watch! So are Rock and Josie!

Rock and Josie each had one dance and Chloe had 5.

These girl's had the most darling dance of the concert! Everyone loved it! Party Rockin'!

Pre- 40th Fun!

So one morning, there is a knock at my door.....

It was these lovely ladies saying....

In 40 hours

We will be celebrating your 40th birthday

That is in 40 days!

How fun is that? With Hans' help, they planned it all and surprised me!

We shopped, ate, ran the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Awareness 5K, shopped and ate some more!

It was a grand time that made me feel special and loved!

Bring it 40!

At Josie's preschool (Learning Dynamics), they do a sweet little mother's day program. They sing songs and feel like they are the most special kids in the world! We all oooo and aaaa over them and take a ton of pictures and videos. It is darling!

Chloe Sings

Chloe had her choir concert this spring. She kind of mentioned that she had a solo, but didn't make any big deal of it! Umm, it was a huge deal! It was a 4 minute Adele song that she rocked! When I closed my eyes, it didn't even sound like my little Chloe! It was a mature, beautiful, lovely voice!

Keep up the singing Chloe, it is one of your beautiful talents!

Meet Phil, our new pet bunny!

I've been the mean Mom for the last couple years saying "no dog!" So when the kids asked to buy one of the neighbor's bunnies, and Dad said "no!" I became awesome Mom again because I said "YES!" Hans was dying until I told him to think of it as a stepping stone towards a dog!

Mariana's Birthday

In May we had Mariana and Suellen over for a pancake birthday dinner for Mariana!

It was her cake and dinner all in one....her choice of course!

Then we borrowed our neighbor's the Matthew's bunnies and had a little snuggle!

We've loved having Mariana around the last few years, but in August she finished up and headed back to Brasil for an internship! We love you Mariana, you're the best big sister ever!

Our Little Shiner

Josie had a little collision on the trampoline....someone's head to her cheek. With in a minute there was swelling and she looked like this when she woke up the next morning. She didn't want any pictures taken, so had to sneak a few. She finally let me take some a few days later when Hans was out of town and I told her he needed to see. One of the best shiners I've ever seen...and it lasted over a month!

Another milestone for Josie, she lost her first tooth! Hooray, she was so excited!

She's not our baby any more!

Then a couple days later....another one. It's like a freight train we can't stop...next she'll be 16!

Grayson's Prom

Awesome Uncle Eric let Gray borrow his sweet Audi, Grayson was loving it!

Gray went to pick up his date Makenna Daniels and we met them at the county building for some pictures with their whole group!

They we darling laughing and having a great time!

Makenna is quite a bit shorter than Grayson, so we were loving her tiny feet in 4 inch heels next to his size 13's!

The whole gang! They went 4-wheeling for their day date...Gray borrowed Eric Pope's rhino. He said they had the best set up and the most fun! Thanks to both Eric's for their trust in Gray!
