Good Morning!

This is how Josie showed up to scripture time this morning.

She was cold.

I had to take the pic without her knowing or I'm sure the day would have started with tears.

The cereal was my cover!

TRUMAN is 10

January 16th, our big Tru turned 10!  It happened to be Sunday, so we started the celebrations on Saturday! 

We got a group of Truman's friends and headed out for a little laser tag at the Trafalga in Lehi. We were all on the same team and we WON!  It was a blast!

After, because we are high quality people, we took Truman to a gas station/convenient store to open his presents....and to get shakes and fries at the Iceberg hamburger joint.

 The boys finished off 4 orders of fries, 1 order of onion rings and 5 massive shakes!

 Sunday morning, Tru woke up and opened his presents.  The "Pro" scooter was a hit! Now let's see if we can keep it from getting stolen or lost....

 Tru picked sticky buns and bacon for breakfast, just like Rock!

 Dinner was one of our birthday favorites....ribs, twice baked potatoes,biscuits, and coleslaw! 

 Our cousin Liv was spending the day with us...her dad is a hunter and the kids couldn't believe that she had never had ribs before. Quite a hilarious conversation!

 Tru LOVES vanilla!  So vanilla cake it was...from The Chocolate in Orem. Quite delish, if I do say so!

Happy 10th birthday big guy! We are so in love with you, your humor and your wit....you're weird! (and you know that's a compliment in Tru's eyes!)

Another Rock gem...

the other day I was doing dishes and turned around to wipe off the counter and this is the awesome display that I came upon....

it had been there for hours.

It just makes me smile!

Little Chef

Josie had a great time making cookies....I had hoped to get a picture of her eating one, but by the time the cookies came out, she had had too much dough....that's my girl! A true little chef!

Christmas is OVER!

Mmmm, glue gun, stale gingerbread, and rock hard candy! So long Christmas!

We had a visitor!

Jayne came to visit! We were so excited!  Jayne is Steve (Hans' nephew) and Dayna's little peanut. They were having a little night out at a BYU basketball game and grandma volunteered to babysit while we were celebrating at our house.  But Grandma didn't get much time with Jayne because the Maglebys took over! She had a little dance party in Josie's room.  Chloe helped feed her some snacks and give her a few drinks. Rock and Tru just followed her around, enamored! Then they all settled down for a little TV time.

 She wanted Hans to hold her... the cute little ones always like him... but we think she liked Hans a little extra because Steve has some face scruff too. 

After she was here for a while, she was getting a bit tired so we turned on Yo Gabba Gabba, her favorite show, and it happened to be the Jack Black episode!  The whole family was glued!

Super fun Saturday night!  Come again Jayne, we adore you!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

Grandma is so lucky to celebrate her birthday on New Year's Eve!  So we continued the celebration on New Year's Day!  We were so happy to have the Morrows in town to celebrate with us!

 We sang!

 She got all of the candles in all of the desserts!
