I had hoped to get a better picture but this is a s good as my son's phone would do so I will try to get a better one.I designed this sampler not necessarily for Thanksgiving but as a tribute to my 10th great grandparents ( Hannah and Edward Bompasse) that lived at Plimoth Plantation from 1621 until 1630.
The first pilgrims arrived in 1620- thus the verse Nov. 1620 Arrived on these shores at Plimoth.
The sampler is stitched on 14 count evenweave and has been coffee dyed and rag stuffed. It measures 4 1/2" wide and 3 1/2" tall.
