Tukkilautan kuvausta - Log drive in Joensu

Aamulla tuli tekstiviesti, että tänään on mahdollisuus seurata tukinuittoa Joensuun keskustassa. Pitihän sinne mennä kuvaamaan. Kuvaajia oli useampiakin, vaikka sää oli todella huono, vähän väliä satoi ja lämmintä oli vain 12 astetta.

Although the weather was lousy, rainy and cold, I decided to go to take some photos of timber rafting. I was not the only one; there were several people taking photos or just watching. This is not what you can see every day.
 

Hinaaja lähestyy perässään tukkilautta. Kuva otettu Sirkkalan sillalta.

 The tugboat is coming with the log load.
 

Sirkkalan silta on nyt ohitettu. Vuorossa saapuminen kaupunkiin, silta on jo ylhäällä.

 The Sirkkala bridge has been passed. Now towards the town, the bridge is already up.

Tukkeja - logs

 Sattumalta paikalle tuli myös risteilylaiva Vinkeri. Sirkkalan silta on yöhäällä.

The tourist boat Vinkeri came. The Sirkkala bride is up for the boat.

 Pistäydyin samalla reissulla myös torilla. Muutama kuva sieltäkin. Sää oli huono, ihmisiä ei ollut paljoa.

I dropped in the market place. A few photos from there. The weather was poor, so there were not many people on the market place.

 

 

 

 

 

 Näkymä kävelykadulle. Ei montaa ihmistä täälläkään.
