Kuantan over Good Friday Weekend 2009

Finally, as promised, I uploaded the pictures...

Like I said, it was a peaceful and beautiful place. Laid back... Relaxing...

This is a picture taken from the chalet. We had a free upgrade to a seaview chalet.

First day, we visited Sungei Pandan Waterfall. It was relatively difficult to get around in Kuantan as compared to other parts of Malaysia. I guess it is because it is not as developed & urbanised. Makes sense because if not it would not be so relaxing. GPS was a must to have. Luckily we managed to lay our hands on a set, if not, we would have ben totally lost there.

Next we went to Gua Charas. This is a limestone cave.

We had to climb up a flight of scary stairs to get into the cave.

Our next destination is Cherating Beach. Despite having GPS with us, we still took the wrong route. But this extra distance travelled is nice... Its really nothing like the main NS Highway.
