A group of graduates, well established in their careers, were talking at a reunion and decided to go visit their old university professor, now retired. During their visit, the conversation turned to complaints about stress in their work and lives. Offering his guests hot chocolate, the professor went into the kitchen and returned with a large pot of hot chocolate and an assortment of cups - porcelain, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite - telling them to help themselves to the hot chocolate. When they all had a cup of hot chocolate in hand, the professor said, 'Notice that all the nice looking, expensive cups were taken, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones.’ While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. The cup that you're drinking from adds nothing to the quality of the hot chocolate. In most cases it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink. What all of you really wanted was hot chocolate, not the cup; but you consciously went for the best cups. And then you began eyeing each other's cups.
Now consider this:
Life is the hot chocolate; your job, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain life. The cup you have does not define, nor change the qualityof life you have. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the hot chocolate God has provided us. God makes the hot chocolate, man chooses the cups. The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything that they have. Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. And enjoy your hot chocolate!!

Merry Christmas to all
Am looking forward to having a good family dinner on the 24th. Still yet to complete my shopping yet. Tsk...
Picture adapted from:http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/3656984/The-13-days-of-Christmas-day-3.html
Now am gathering my thoughts for all the lessons in the coming new year. Anxiety is the word... Happy (& sad) to teach Maths... Ha Ha... Well... just letting nature take its own course.
To all a Merry Christmas and a Happee New Year... Stay close to your family as they are the ones who would be standing next to you in your life through all the ups and downs...
To the graduating students next year: Start to work hard from January, never leave work to the 11th hour...All the best!

Seoul - Jeju 25 Nov - 1 Dec 2008
It was an experience, physically... mentally and emotionally drained ... I hope things will change for the better after this trip and that everybody appreciates being together harmoniously... Let's work together to aim for Gold with Honours for SYF 2009.

Time is 3.23 am in the morning and its impossible to sleep on the plane. Whatsmore you have to take breakfast at that time... we had bibimbop (mixed rice).

Finally reached Seoul. This picture was taken on the bus. It is cold.

Blue palace.

That is Seoul Tower in the background.

Pretty flowers.

World Cup Stadium.

Transit to Jeju at Gimpo Airport.

Departure at Gate 3.

Our first meal at Jeju. This is a typical Korean meal. Rice, side dishes and soup.

This is an extra dish - mackerel.

In Jeju, the roads were lined with plants and flowers. The flowers were very pretty. I love Jeju.
Teddy Bear Museum.
Soingook Miniature Theme Park
You must be wondering why I am showing this. This toilet is another experience as well. Ha Ha... It washes you up after you are done. I am so glad that we had such a nice suite in Jeju.
