I've got to get working on Valentines!  I'm running so far behind on these!  This was a good way to get me started.  The image this week is Bear with a Heart 118I- he is so cute!

Stamp TV BLOG HOP - with a Free Gina K Stamp set

Blog hop, blog hop, blog hop!  I love Stamp TV's blog hops.  There is always so much inspiration AND this hop there is a free GINA K DESIGNS STAMP SET that is going to be given away!

Repeat Impressions - Sketch

It is Wednesday! ---- that means a new sketch and some neat designs from the Repeat Impressions Design Team.

Card Patterns Sketch 99

I just love Card Patterns' sketches!  They help me get started on a card and I learn so much from each one of the Design Team members.  This week's sketch looks like this.

 I like the idea of the ribbon and the circle that can hold a sentiment or an image.  For this I did not stamping -- so it was a very fast card!  Here it is:

The doily is Martha Steward, Webster papers, Gina K Designs Bubble Gum Pink and Ivory cardstocks and a few scraps of other paper and my cuttlebug.

Card Patterns Do Over

Have you ever wished you could do a card over?  Well, I have --- many times!!  Today I decided to take a card I wanted to do and see how I could do it better.  I took the card I did last night for Card Patterns.  Here it is:

I took the circle and flower off and added some layers and a lot of glitter.  Which one do you like?  The first one is kinda plain - but ok  --  the second is certainly more layered.  Which do you like?  I'd love to hear from you.  I will have a random giveaway on January 29 for those who leave a comment -- because your comments do help me.  Thank you == and have a HAPPY stamping day.

Card Patterns Sketch 98

I know that spring is still a few months away, but I'm tired of cold weather!  We've not had much snow -- nothing like the NorthEast - but it has just been cold.  Card Patterns had such a neat sketch this week I wanted to do this with spring in mind.

 The stamp is from Repeat Impressions, paper is from Milton and Company, I used my cuttlebug and some perfect pearls my sweet sister gave me.

Love, love Wednesdays because every other Wednesday Wendys asks us to case a card from one of the Design Team Members and you get to play along also -- Today the case card is one of mine.  Case means to Copy And Same Elements another definition is Copy and Same Everything.  However you define - you can copy what ever you want!

Creative Belli Challenge 109 PPPPPPPPPPPPs

This week the challenge from Creative Belli was to use Ps example:  Pearls, Purple, Paper Piecing, Paper Clips, Paint, Poppies, etc.....  This will be fun!  Remember we like for you to use old, forgotten stash -- we know you have a bunch in those drawers and cabinets!  :)!!!

I've used Pearls, the color Purple and embossing Powder for the sentiment.  The stamp is Papertrey Ink.

Repeat Impressions Stamp of the Week - Rose Window

Being on the Design Team at Repeat Impressions is so much fun!  Wendy is very generous with the stamps she gives us to use in our designs and this one is especially pretty!  My town, Tyler, Texas is know for their roses.  Most of the roses you buy at Wal-Mart are from this area.  You can drive outside the city and for acres and acres see roses fields.  A dozen fresh cut roses sell for $2.00 on the streets during the spring and summer.

Oh -- now to the stamp here are two cards I made:

This is a small thank you note.  It measures approx 4x4.  The sentiment is from the Quartet Compliments.

Here is my take on the the sketch.  I wanted to make a masculine get well card.

 Here is another one -- the dp has lots of sparkle and is more feminine.  The brads are a shiny silver.

Creative Belli Challenge -- SNOW

SNOW, SNOW AND MORE SNOW!  I know there are a lot of people still trying to dig out their cars from all the snow that hit this last week.  Here in East Texas we have had a couple of cold days, but no snow so far.  Today it was in the high 60s -- I'm glad the challenge was to use a snow element.

All we ask is that you use your old and forgotten embellishments on your card!  What fun to dig through and find something to use! -- The snowflake on the bow came from my sister.

My old embellishments were the snowflake on the ribbon (from my sister) and the glitter snowflakes on the bird and branches are from Martha Stewart.
