BBQ and Crawfish Boil

We did a little shopping--like at Kohl's, and then later was the fun of our church's 2nd annual BBQ and Crawfish Boil--all you can eat...they even gave you beer, and there were bouncers for the kids...I even had my own batch of crawfish...Nick had 2 batches (which was like 4 pounds!) The brisket sandwiches were superb as well! Oh, and Eddie stopped by too...he and Lana ate for free!

Spanish class for Brittany, Chinese buffet with Nana, mall with Nana, games with Nana, nap for Nana...joined Nick at the Skate Party--we had lots and lots of fun! There were lots of sandwiches they sent us home with too!

Early morning to take Bob and Carolina to the airport...they said they could have left car there--next time I'll let them! :) Lana back with me...after a little rest, there was shopping, Qwirkle games, and more...We went to dinner at Texas Borders--she had crawfish...

School day, but a busy day of cleaning and getting house and then guest room/bathroom ready to have Lana come back with me...

On To Webelos

Austin had made a great Lego Rock Band cake with his dad the day before...we had the Cub Scout Graduation, which included the Dads and Lads Cake Bake. I was also responsible for a lot of hot dogs...spent a good part of the day preparing...then off to the park...setting up, heating up, serving up...then Awards and Graduation time. There was thunder, lightening, and rain that set in...so, we had to speed up our exit. On the way home, we saw a lightening fire...pretty cool!

We headed over to Bob and Carolina's...brought the fajita meat, tortillas, stuff to make salsa, chips, cheese, beans...They had some hot dogs and rice...It was a great time eating, swimming, and hanging out. Oh, and yay--Lana here!

Movie Time

We got up and headed to the mall--Nick and Austin went to see Iron Man 2, while Brittany and I watched Letters to Juliet...Lana made it in late in the evening...over at Bob and Carolina's...
