Paper Issues - Valentine's Insta Hop

Today at Paper Issues we are starting the Valentine's Weekend of with an Instagram Blog Hop. Everyone on the Hop is featuring one of the many Heart themed FREE cut files that you can find in the Paper Issues shop.

I used the Bold Love Background cut file and used it as a stencil with Vicki Boutin molding paste mixed with Distress Oxide Ink Peacock Feathers. All papers and embellishments are from Cocoa Vanilla Studio Daydream and I added some stamps from the Elle's Studio Everyday Tabs set.

Paper Issues - Danielle Does It...LIVE challenge

Hi everyone!

Today the Danielle Does It...LIVE challenge went live at Paper Issues. If you missed it, you definitely want to watch the replay here. This month I had special guest Melanie joining me and we played Roll the Dice. The dice were not easy on us, so it was quite the challenge for sure!

You will have to use 6 patterned papers, 5 stickers, 4 stampers, 3 alphas and 2 stencils. For my layout I used the Cocoa Vanilla Daydream collection, Pinkfresh Studio Mirrored Triangle Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks and Elle's Studio Everyday Tab Stamps and alphas.

Paper Issues - Winter Crop part 2

Hi everyone!

Today I did another Facebook LIVE for the Paper Issues Winter Crop, if you missed it you can watch the replay here. A little shocker: I did two layouts in one LIVE!

This layout is for the Paris challenge and I created a background with the Pinkfresh Studio Hanging Garden Layering Stencil and Distress Oxide Inks. All papers and embellishments are from Pink Paislee 5th & Monaco.

The second layout is for the Stonehenge challenge and I didn't use any mixed media at all, which is quite challenging for me. I used a mix of Vicki Boutin collections and an alpha from Elle's Studio.

Paper Issues - Winter Crop

Hi everyone!

This weekend the Paper Issues Winter Crop is happening and as always it is so much fun!! Today I made two layouts, the first one during a Facebook Live. If you missed it, you can watch the replay here.

I used the Pinkfresh Studio Cloud Builder stencil for this layout, which is for the Orlando challenge, with Distress Oxide Spun Sugar. All papers and embellishments are from Studio Tekturek and I added the Elle's Studio Everyday Tabs Stamps.

For the second layout, for the Hollywood challenge, I used the Pinkfresh Studio Layering Sunburst Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks to create the background. All papers and embellishments are from Vicki Boutin Storyteller and on this page I also added some Elle's Studio Everyday Tabs Stamps.

Tomorrow I'll be live again and I hope to get a lot more pages done!

Paper Issues - Sketch Challenge

Yesterday I did a Facebook LIVE for Paper Issues and made a layout for this week's sketch challenge. I loved the colors in the sketch so much, that I wanted to use them on my layout.

I used the Gel Press circle gel plate with Distress Oxides and the Carta Bella Farm Grid stencil. All papers and embellishments are from Vicki Boutin and I added some stamps from Elle's Studio Everyday Tabs Stamps.

Paper Issues - LIVE Sketch Challenge

Today I'm sharing a layout for this week's sketch challenge that I made during a Facebook LIVE. If you have missed it, you can watch the replay here.

This is the sketch I have been playing with.

Here is my take on it. I loved the teal color in the sketch so I had to bring that back with Distress Oxides. After the smooshing I added an extra layer with the Altenew Molded Lines stencil. All papers and embellishments are from Elle's Studio.

Paper Issues - Woodn't You Know challenge

Hi everyone!

Today I'm sharing a layout for the Paper Issues Woodn't You Know challenge, where you have to use wooden embellishments and/or woodgrain papers. The Elle's Studio Autumn Days paper pack is perfect for this challenge, it does have two sheets of woodgrain paper in it and all the other colors were perfect for this Halloween picture. Elle's Studio also has plenty of wood veneer pieces that I've been hoarding. I also finally got to use their Candy Corn puffy alpha!

For the background I used Distress Oxide Inks with the Altenew Woven Plaid stencil.

Paper Issues - Birds of a Feather

Hi everyone!

Today I'm back with another layout using the Gel Press gel plates along with Distress Oxide Inks. This time I used the triangle plate. The papers and embellishments are from Studio Tekturek Strawberry Shake, the colors in this collection go perfectly with the Oxide colors Picked Raspberry, Wild Honey and Peacock Feathers. I also used the Elle's Studio Everyday Tab Dies on a gel printed piece of paper, to create printed tabs. I stamped the Elle's Studio Everyday stamps randomly on my page, as well as on the tabs.
