Hi guys this is MJ here. there is a small change. Only sec1s bring boots the rest no need to bring boots but everyone has to bring no.4 shirt n long pants. No need to starch, iron, no need badges, belt n guttels.

PDS competition on Saturday: 7.30am report to school in PT kit and PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR FULL UNIFORM FOR THE COMPETITION, we are doing some touch up with our uniform and at 12.30pm, we must reach HTA for the competition

Funture Camp 2011

Hi guys this is LCP MJ here this post is informing you guys about the camp. this camp is a two day one night camp. The camp will be held at school, Nov 21-Nov22. report outside NCDCC room in PT kit. Timing to be confirmed later. Pls be mentally prepared for the camp.See u guys there! 

PDS trainings for the week =D 11/7/2011~ 11/14/2011

Hey! How's everybody? This weeks  PDS training:

1.30pm to 3.30pm on Wednesday - PT kit

1pm to 2.30pm on Friday - Full Uniform, No.4
2.30 pm to 5.30 pm on Friday( Sec 2s only, CD shelter visit)
- Full Uniform, No.4

12.45pm to 4.45pm on Saturday ( familarisation visit) - PT kit

Note: Friday's training ends earlier as the Sec 2s are going for a CD Shelter Visit for their promotion.
 ATTENDANCE IS COMPULSORY FOR EVERY TRAINING AND THE VISIT!   Further details on reporting time and venue will be posted tomorrow ASAP. Peeps that have seen this post please tell your squadmates just in case they are unaware of the trainings. By the way, good luck to the Sec 2s! Hope you can get the subject combination you want! Good luck to Sec 4s for their O Levels too if your reading this post! =D

Hi guys tomorrow will be the last cca training for the year. So, give ur best in ur uniform n boots. N the sec2s will be in charge tmw as the sec3s will be out.we don't want to see fire boots. MJ :D

Some changes

To all:

After some discussion, please note that we will be changing how you address your seniors.

Originally it was encik/incik or ma'am for all SNCOs.

Now it will be changed to encik/incik for WOs.
Rank for SNCOs, e.g SNCO, rank Staff Sergeant : Address as Staff

However, this will apply to Sergeant and Staff Sergeant. So if the rank is Sergeant, then address as Sergeant.

For the ranks corporal and below, address as NCO or SNCO depending on whether they have gone for the course.

For now this is the new arrangement, it may be edited at a later time.

PHS NCDCC 2011

The PHS National Civil Defence Cadet Corps (NCDCC) was established in the year 2008 with 11 cadets from Secondary 1. Today, the enrollment has increased to 39 cadets with 3 Staff Sergeants from Sec 4.

In NCDCC, the cadets will be able to learn a wide range of useful topics such as First-Aid, Fire Safety, Campcraft, Hazardous Materials, and footdrill. We also took part in the National Civil Defence Cadet Corps Day at the Home Team Academy (HTA) and Emergency Preparedness Day 2010. Selected cadets will also be sent to special courses such as the Urban Search and Rescue course, non-commissioned officer(NCO) course, senior non-commissioned officer(SNCO) course and the Unit Drill Instructor course.

We also have 2 annual camps. The camps are planned by the senior cadets for the junior cadets to orientate them into the Uniformed group, as well as bond the unit as a whole.

I am sure that you will find something that you are interested in, during your journey in NCDCC.

I will just cut to the chase. Friday, 7th January 2011, there WILL BE cca to prepare for open house on saturday. Usual reporting time, attire PT kit.

Saturday will require all of you to report in FULL UNIFORM, standards tip top, boots shine, collar starch, middle line, no missing accessories.

For both days, for each person missing, you guys will do 5+++++.
