The last few days of the scavenger hunt

Two more pictures for the Blue brads Winter Photograph Hunt.
I will try and get one or two more before the 20th but most of the ones left need frost or snow and we are short of that here this year.

Easter Saturday

Today we had Dan and his family visit us. I was lovely to see little Lukas playing.
He was very tired but refused to sleep even though he had his dummy.

January 5th

A photo through my kitchen window
As today was such a lovely day Roland and I went for a trip to Lytham. I think the whole world had the same idea as every coffeeshop was full to overflowing and I didn't fancy sitting drinking coffee out side.
We went for a walk along the sea front then went to find a Costa in Preston. We had a hit of coffee then found our way home.
Roland watched his football and now we are catching up with a recorded programme

Dat 336 New Years Eve:

The last day of our challenge and I'm feeling sad but also looking forward to next years Challenge.
I'd like to wish you all a HAPPY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR and look forward to seeing you all next week on our new site.

Reflect

It isn't difficult to reflect on the year.
I've really enjoyed getting to know you all
I've enjoyed looking at life deeper than I probably would have done
And I've enjoyed sharing a lot of my life with you.

The last photos of the year have been taken by Roland
and are reflections in the conservatory window.

And he also wondered what Stella was reflecting about.

Day 365 Sunday 30th December:

The penultimate day today. I can't believe it. Not very long ago it seemed like forever before the year would end and now it is on top of us. I'm feeling a bit sad even though we are carrying on next year.
I think I should have a new blog as Roland and I will no longer be 65 but I'm short of ideas for a title at the moment. I will be glad when all the festivities and rich food are over as the rich food does affect my body and mind for the worse. I have loved seeing the family and their celebrations and every bit of tiredness is worth it.

END

The end page of a book I have just finished.
It is a medieval mystery, which I love.
written by Chris Nickson a new author to me.
I really enjoyed it.

The end of Rolands finger.

Day 364 Saturday 29th December:

Another quiet day today. We went to see Marion, who got back from her daughters on the 27th. Mr Dewhurst, the owner of the Estate Agents had come to see mums house that afternoon so she told us about what he had said. He was very surprised at the size of the house and garden and she said she could see the cogs whirring in his head about what to do about the sale.
While she and I were away there were 2 different people look at it and she showed a man round herself yesterday, so there is some interest in the house.
She also gave us news about her son in law who is getting around but cannot do any work on the farm, making life very difficult for the rest of the family.

On the way home I managed to get Roland to take me to Abercan, where I bought some more fleece for the other quillows I am going to make.
