Is anybody out there?

Man, it's been a long time!  I'm considering dusting this blog off and seeing if it still runs.  But that may mean trying to figure out how to share photos back and forth between my computer and phone...

As I continue the battle between the convenience and instant gratification of Instagram and the interactive aspect of blogging, I have to say that I still like reading blogs and I do feel a little bad about not documenting our lives in a more detailed manner over the last two years.

But here we are-  a little older and probably not any wiser!

15 years

Can you believe that it has been 15 years since David proposed to me? 15 years! I honestly can't believe that we have been together that long- I know that I will blink and we will be celebrating our 25, 40, 50 year anniversaries.

Last night we were talking about our life together and I can honestly say that our life right now is nothing like I thought it would be but it's everything I wanted it to be. What more can I ask for? (Other than a vacation without children!)

Here's to many happy, exciting, unpredictable, adventurous years to come!

5. Playing the drums

I'm going to need to keep and eye on this girl!

The next time you poke fun at your mom, keep in mind that one day you will be listening to the Beach Boys while making pancakes in your nightgown from Kohl's and you will be totally okay with it.

Advice from Sister C

When we got married, my favorite Sister Cornwall gave me a set of cookie sheets and a set of cookie recipes. On the top of the recipes she wrote,"I'm a firm believer that homemade cookies make for a happy home!".

After much testing, we completely agree!
