Dance, Dance & Dance some more...

So this spring we have been so busy with our little dancer. After evrything in December, and her missing almost all month of practices, I thought how am I going to drag myself out of bed or the house to get her to practice and competitions ect. But, bottom line was that even if I didn't feel like it, she committed and worked so hard up this point and competition season was just around the corner. So I bucked up and in the end all though it has been so much work and sooooo many competitions taking up most of our weekends, it is well worth it to see how happy it makes her and how can you not be happy and smile when you see this cute lil thing dance. :)

So back to not wanting to take pictures...Gracie's very first solo competition, I didn't even take a picture of her! So I only have pictures from the last two competitions but the one positive is that at least I am starting to want to take pictures again....:)

Gracie competes in her solo with 6-8 year olds and she just turned 5. Everytime she has went on stage I am so proud her because she surpirses everyone and just turns it up 10 notches and is the biggest ham ever. She does her dance all by herself with no help and finishes everytime with a big smile. That is all I could ask for. She absolutely LOVES it. Which can be a good and bad thing. Great that she found smething she loves and that she works so hard for. And bad for me and dad because it is one pricey passion :) This solo business isn't cheap :)

I also entered in a photo of Gracie's at one of the competitions and she won OverAll cover girl and was on the cover of the program!

Update Cont

Happy Easter!
Big Bro was so awesome to foccus on just helping his sisters find their eggs.

Having a tea party with her new tea set from the Easter Bunny!

 St. George & Mesquite
We went to Mesquite for a dance competition for Grace.  It was a fun to get away and spend some time together as a family.  Faith loved bowling :)

Not to mention how awesome my bowling shoes went with that dress!!!!

Happy Birthday Grace...Gracie's cousin who she has grown up with that is only a month older than her wasn't going to be there for her bday party so she came over and surprised her with a little party of her own.  It was adorable.  I mean cake, presents, games, ect.  Grace loved it.

Shooting fun with the Philpots...
If anyone knows my husband they know that he loves guns.  So you aren't a Philpot unless you get your own bebe gun at age 5 and start to learn all the rules and safety ect of guns.  We are dorks but it is actually so nice to go out after a long day and Max gets home from work and do some target practice and spend time together in the moutains :) Grace loves her bebe gun but after she has had her fun she just likes to play in the sand or go on adventures.

I love how at even younger than this she just leaves her ear plugs on.  She is like oh just another Tuesday night with my family :)  I will just go to sleep with gun shots are going off.

I dont think daddy could be more proud of this little one...definitely his lil mini me, and little princess :)

So stylin'Grace.  I mean it is the perfect outfit for shooting guns in the mountains right?
