We've moved!

We have moved across the country and we are moving blogs.  I started a new blog to chronicle our latest adventures and I have taken our names out of the title and the blog itself to keep things more private without making the blog itself a private blog.  If you want the link please email me at elicia.graves at gmail dot com. Fireworks

We had a wonderful 4th hanging out with good friends most of the day.  At night we went up the hill where we had parked Phil's truck earlier in the day and watched the fireworks that Royal Oaks put on.  I brought my camera and tripod and it was fun to photograph something different for a change!

Ruby Rowan - 22 Weeks

This week's picture is brought to you by my dear friend Jennifer!  We had a fun night out together without our girls.  We have a great time getting together for play dates but I have to admit it was so much fun to have dinner together without any fits being thrown.  Jennifer was gracious enough to take some maternity pictures for me before we move.  I love them!  She is so talented and such a sweet friend to me.  I am going to miss her.  Our girls are one month apart and we are due less than two months apart this time around.  So fun, and I can't wait to find out if Jen is having a girl or a boy this time.

And....we have a name for our sweet baby girl!  We are going to call her Ruby Rowan.  It was actually pretty easy to decide on a name.  We struggled with the middle name a bit and thought about several family names but in the end we went with our runner up for her first name.  I love the R's together and the way her name flows.  We also like how Ruby and Lillian are both a bit old fashioned and I think they go well with each other.  Now I just hope that they get along well with each other!  Lily loves babies and today she was walking out the door to go to the 4th of July parade with Phil and she ran back and grabbed her doll to take with her.  Hopefully she likes her little sister that much!

From Daddy's Shirt to Lily's Skirt

I have been meaning to try this tutorial for a while now.  I finally got the chance last weekend and I love the result.  P's shirt had seen better days with some pen marks on the sleeve and the collar was starting to get a bit grungy.  The only changes I made to the tutorial was to sew down the buttons so the skirt wouldn't gap, and add the lace trim.  So fun, don't you think?  When I get a chance I'm going to sit down and whip up a couple more of these!

 

21 Weeks

This was taken at the very end of the week...so almost two weeks later than the 20 week picture.  I'm trying to be good about these, but I'm just not that disciplined!

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to my awesome dad who did so much for us growing up, and also to my wonderful husband who is truly the best dad I know.  He loves his little girl so much and I'm so thankful he takes the time to do things with her one on one and spends so much quality time with her.  She loves her daddy and they have the sweetest relationship.  I took a few pictures of them playing and having fun together today.
