This past weekend we ventured down to Georgia for my brothers wedding. It was a great wedding and the weather was perfect! The boys were on their best behavior (well Weston was anyways!) Kelly looked stunning and the couple seemed to enjoy every minute of their fun weekend!

Mikeys First Soccer Practice

On Saturday we took Mikey to his very first soccer practice. Mike's friend, Nick coaches a Saturday practice starting at 18 months. Nick was nice enough to let Mikey sneak in :) As you can imagine Mike was thrilled to teach Mikey some soccer skills.

We tried to explain he needed to step over the bar and kick the ball around the cone. Instead Mikey liked to move the cone over the bar.

Mikey loved to step over these bars. He spent the majority of the hour practice doing so!

15 Month Appointment

Today we had Mikeys 15 month appointment. He got a big gold star.
Height: 32 1/2 inches (90-95 percentile)
Weight: 28 1lbs 12 oz (90-95 percentile)
HC: I cant remember the # just that it was greater than 100th percentile

Likes: running around, sitting in his green chair, cooking in his kitchen, eating, building block towers, talking, playing with cars, putting his shoes on and being outside

Words he can say: Book, Banana, Nite Nite, Ball, Dada, Milk, No, and Mama. He will also attempt to say Apple and Thank you but very hard to understand him!

Dislikes: being told no (in fact he mocks us), wearing socks & chicken nuggets without barbeque sauce.


This picture just sums up Mikeys personality. A complete Ham! He will do anything to make you laugh including walking around with buckets on his head, laying down in the middle of the doctors office and hiding the remote!

On Saturday we took Mikey for his first haircut. We both loved his curls and they represented him being a baby but they were started to get unmanageable. So we took Mikey to a really cool baby haircutting place and he handled it like a champ.

Mikey looks so cute with his hair short. Granted he doesnt look like a little baby anymore he looks like a little boy. We both thought it would be sad to see his curls go but he seriously looks so stinkin' cute with his hair short. We thought the curls would go away but when we woke up this morning they were starting to appear again :) He really is growing up so fast!
