Another Room Complete

 When we moved into the new house it had a very more bedrooms then we were initally looking for. Right away we decided we wanted to do a playroom for the little guy. Anyone who has children know what a nightmare all of the plastic toys everywhere is. This is a great space that we can store his toys and not have to look at them every day. When we bought the house it was a workout room (see above). I finally got around to painting it a light blue and putting some decorations up. It is a work in progress but it is coming along.

What do we do with holiday weekends? I utilize the time to decorate yet another one. I selected the living room as my next project as its easier and cheap to fix. New ceiling fan, new paint, curtains and accessories made this a relatively cheap room to fix. Still missing crown molding :)

Mini Vacation

Mikeys daycare was closed Thursday and Friday for the annual painting and carpet cleaning.We decided to take advantage of this by going to the beach. We chose Brigantine, a tiny little beach town next to Atlantic City. It has wide beaches, cute little beach houses and a quaint little town where we can get bagels and coffee. We both agree we would love to buy a house here someday.

While it was overcast while we were there all three of us got a little sun kissed. The overcast meant Mikey didnt get to hot and we could sit on the beach for a long time.

We had lunch on the last day at the Laguna Beach Bar which had awesome view of the water.

We had delicious seafood at Hoopers Seafood restaurant.

After two days at the beach our little guy was pooped.

We got some to go seafood for Hoopers and made grilled clams and mussels. Delicious!
