BOY! WHAT A BIRTHDAY

The Saturday before Riley Birthday he got to invite 10 friends to go lazer tagging.  First they had Pizza and then we took them to Provo for the lazer tagging and then came back home and had cake and ice cream and opened presents.  On his actual Birthday he took cupcakes to school and then got to go out to eat lunch at the D.Q.  The following sunday we had the family party complete with a corn beef and cabbage dinner (since he was born on St Patricks Day) and topped it off with a peanut butter birthday cake and ice cream.  Of course we had to measure him on Grandma's door frame.  He seems to be growing like a weed.

A CHEESE CAKE FACTORY BIRTHDAY

For Andrea's Birthday we decided to take her to SLC to the Cheese Cake Factory at City Creek Center.  We picked up Heather from work and grabbed a couple of kolaches and then jumped on the front runner and headed into the big city.  We window shopped and watched the dancing water fountain and even went into "Tiffany's" jewelry store and tried on a $127,000.00 ring.  Later in the day we hit the Cheese Cake Factory and then after that we head back to the train for the trip home.  We got down to about Pleasant Grove and the train broke down and we had about an hour wait for another train to come and get us so we played a little Farkle while we waited.

A Small Adventure

This afternoon grandpa called to see if I wanted to go on a walk. Of course I did so I went to go to my car to drive to their house to begin our walk. My gas light had come on when I was driving home after work so I hopped in Reeds car thinking that would be the better option. Lo and Behold as I was backing out of my driveway I noticed that his gas light was on too. I didn't have my wallet to swing past the gas station but I thought I'd chance it. Well, guess who ran out of gas tonight backing out of grandma and grandpas driveway? Oh yeah. Me.

ZACS 13TH BIRTHDAYBASH

In our family the birthdays come fast and furious with the new year.  Grandma starts the ball rolling and they just keep coming.  Zac is now 13.  We had a great birthday bash for him with a yummy ham dinner and then presents followed by a fun game of Trivial Pursuit.  Rachel face timed with us and even played Trivial Pursuit with us over the iPad.  Happy Birthday Zac.  We all love you.
