IT'S DANG NEAR ALL OVER WITH

Kevin & Aunt Jan had invited us up to lunch so they could see Grandma during the holidays.  Adam and Mom were not feeling too good so Rachel and Dad took Grandma up and had lunch with Kevin & Jan.  It was so great to see them and get caught up on all the happenings in their lives too.  An awful lot of laughing, and gabbing went on.  That evening we went over to Andrea & Casey's for dinner and a movie.  Andrea fixed a fabulous meal and again a lot of laughing and gabbing followed by the "Gremlins" movie.  Tomorrow everyone starts leaving and going back to their own homes and work.  What a great year this has been.  Can't wait to see what 2015 has in store for us.

THE ANNUAL PETERSON FAMILY CHRISTMAS EVE PARTY

To start our "Family Christmas Eve Party" off everyone wanted to go out and ride the Zip Line since they were not all here when we put it up this summer and since the weather has been like summer we thought why not.  Following the zip line we watched the movie "The Christmas Box" and then had Christmas dinner.  After dinner we cleared off the table and had a rubix cube race followed by every ones favorite game...... "Christmas Bingo" complete with some of the most awesome gifts ever.  Some of the great gifts this year included Kazoo's, Racing Grandpa & Grandma, Weener Kleener, mustaches, Cackling egg, 3-D glasses a mechanical spider and of course Rachel's old Glasses and Great Grandma's old blouse.  Austin was again the lucky recipient of the blouse but every one wanted to try it on with Rachel's glasses and a shower cap from a hotel in Seattle.  After Bingo we retired to the living room where we sang Christmas Carols and told the story of the first Christmas.
