Riley-isms

Here are a couple of Riley-isms.
First:
Riley was really ornery for a bit tonight. I asked him where my sweet boy had gone. He replied "This is me now." Thinking I could try to tease him into a better mood I said "that was then, this is now?" He glared at me and said "I don't need your clever word play."

Later, when I was tucking him into bed, he has had this habit lately where he likes to wear his socks until he is all tucked in, then he will pull the socks off and slide his feet back under the blanket. As he did he sighed happily and told me it was "Heaven in a blanket" and that I should try it sometime.

I just love the way he talks and I don't ever want to forget it.

CASEY HAS ANOTHER BIRTHDAY

Because the weather was absolutely beautiful this week end we decided to have Casey's Birthday Party out on the patio in the back yard.  We had pizza and cheese sticks and played frizzby and "Zombie Kick The Can"  Then we sat around the fire pit and ate smores.

The next morning this is what we woke up to.
