Here are some shots from riding Riley's motorcycle down to Momma Lynn and Grandpa Brad's house on Grandpa Brad's birthday. Riley was really enjoying the nice warm weather.
And of course the fun didn't stop once we arrived.
Momma Lynn and Grandpa Brad were doing yard work so Riley got to play with a stray daffodil that had been broken off... Isn't this flower beautiful? I too have daffodil's in my yard but they are much, much smaller. I will have to take some pictures and post later.
What a strange, but wonderful little boy I have.
Now, on to my next set of random pictures. My car... I was stopped at a stoplight the other day, and was rear-ended by the daughter of the mayor of that fine city. Yes that would be the city that I work in. And yes, she was a brand new 16 year old driver, which probably explains how she was behind me in the southbound turn lane, didn't see me there and tried to drive while my car was stationary in front of her. But don't worry. No injuries, very minor damage and I was by myself in the car, but still, now that it is over and done with, it was a rather exciting diversion. If I ever have to be in an accident, I would prefer it be like that one. Here is the damage that was done. Can I say I love having a camera in my phone for just such random occasions that arise?
This is the pretty pretty rental car her insurance provided while they fixed mine. Isn't it cute? It even seems like its glowing. (Really it is just glare from the sun, in case you weren't sure.) But her insurance being ultra efficient, I only got to drive it for a day before I got my car back. But that's okay. I'm glad my car is back and it didn't cost me anything to have it fixed. Let's give a cheer for not being at fault in accidents!
