End of 2017 Picture Dump

Neela somehow wrapped herself up for bed. She is such an independent little two year old.

Me: "Hey Neela, look in the mirror so you can see your pretty hair."
N: "Okay! Pretty hair!"

Link is my little swing buddy while I work out in the basement. I love the little claws on his jammies.

Z: "Mom take a picture of me and Link. He is just so cute!"

After I got out of bed for the morning, Titan crawled into my warm spot to have some Linky snuggles.

He's starting to reach and notice his hands. I love this little play mat.

I made an AMAZING loaf of sugar free, sweetened with honey, banana bread. I stirred some chocolate chips and coconut into the top so that was my cheat to give it a sweet kick.

The pond is frozen! Titan and Kade are obsessed with sliding on the ice. I took the Littles to check it out and they had fun. It's getting cold!

His smiles are soooo cute!

It's so endearing that they want to be where I am ALL the time. I am more famous than the most famous rock star. I'm glad I'm teaching them it's important to exercise! Exercise keeps people from being more psycho than they already are. ;)

I cleaned out some shelves and had to snap a picture of this...Zeke put all his drawings into a binder all by himself. He is pretty resourceful.

My little bed bug

This was fast moving gif on facebook and the instructions were to take a screen shot to see what it said. I like these results. Technology is so cool how it can just be saved as a screen shot. :)

Santa visited our ward Christmas party. The kids all wanted to talk to him. Do you like Titan's little pony tail? Silly goof.

Cute kids playing computer while taking a break from skating.

Christmas 2017

Christmas recap.

Elf jammies provided by grandma. Neela would say, “elf time!”

We loved having my parents and Stephen and Brooklynn. Maybe someday we can have Jess and Kalle too!

We had dates without kids and dates with kids, crazy Christmas and not enough sleep in between.

Opened a giant box from our family in Germany on Christmas Eve. Thank you Jess, Kalle, Hans, Hildegard and Till!

Fun and magic opening presents, especially with the littlest ones,

jumping at Lowe’s trampolines,

littles got to swim,

built a snowman family that Titan took pleasure in destroying, he also loved chopping the tree in half when we put it on the street.

We did a 1,500 piece puzzle...correction, Brooklynn did the majority of the puzzle. Great screen-less addiction!

I thoroughly enjoyed watching Grandpa laugh until he cried while Titan did the fart gun non-stop.

Stephen and I went ring shopping for Brooklynn and found the perfect, most gorgeous ring!

We (just adults) went to a beautiful art exhibit of my Mom’s favorite artist, M.C. Escher,
dinner at the Ginger Cafe (best earthy cafe around),

we had exercise in the basement and managed to catch a nap on occasion, Christmas sure is sleepless!

We ate different curries all week and Royal was king of the kitchen. Oh how I love his cooking skills!

And we forgot to take the trash out to the road after Christmas. Of all the days of the year to miss, of course it had to be that one. So if any of our neighbors find trash in their cans they don’t recognize, thank you for the gift of space!

Neela tried shoveling snow and discovered that it is really cold on her bare feet. But thankfully we have warm running water and we warmed up her feet in the sink. She was happy to put on shoes after that. It's a lesson every baby has to learn.

Cool rainbow feature in the BYU museum of art.

I love that she sits and lets me do her hair.

ONE piece was missing out of 1,500. That's pretty good for a house full of kids.

The Mumford kids came over while Alissa worked and Bryce did dialysis. Pierce brought their new-old nintendo and we played some classic Mario. It was so fun!

We ended our Christmas "break" with a trip to the pet store to look at the fish and animals and then out to lunch at In-N-Out.

Look at my cute little family. Can you spot all 6 kids? Dax is by the door. It's fun for me to walk behind everyone and watch Royal carry the car seat while they all run.

Who needs fries when you have ketchup!?

Titan was so happy to chop the tree in half with his hatchet. He's a natural outdoorsman.
