I think these pictures were taken back in September. It sure has been a crazy couple of months. We are trying to get settled in our new place. These are just pictures of pictures as I don't have a scanner and have not gotten to the store to scan them in!
We sure are going to miss these mountains. Moving here thinking that we were going to raise our children in these mountains... it's sad to move away from them. We hired a photographer and headed up to our favourite spot (Alta, Utah) and he got a couple of good ones. It had been in the 70s when I scheduled the shoot and bought the girls dresses a week before, unfortunately it turned cold and was 45 degrees that afternoon. Poor little girls!!
We drove up to Mirror Lake and "hiked" around it with the kids in the stroller. Maggie did walk/run for a lot of it, but our heavy duty stroller was amazing on the crazy terrain. Well, maybe not crazy terrain for regular walking folks, but definitely for a stroller!! I love that thing.
Super cute tree thing that Maggie enjoyed crawling all over. Georgie was excited that she got to explore it too!! Daddy loves his girlies!! Thought it was funny that both Maggie and Georgiana have the same expressions on their face...
I just couldn't understand how all of that bumping and jolting around could put this baby to sleep... She's so adorable!!!
Back in June I decided to take the girls and meet Pete in Vegas where he was attending a conference. We enjoyed the luxurious Aria that he only slept at...
Maggie loved the pool. It was perfect for kids!
And then my camera fell in the water...
I couldn't figure out all the technology of the room so the girls ended up watching a movie on Maggie's little DVD player while I got Maggie's lunch ready.
We went to Snowbird to celebrate Peter on Father's Day. Peter got to enjoy two of his favourite things, skiing and eating!! It was the last day of the ski season (crazy, eh?) and they had a big Father's Day lunch that was delicious!!
Included in the lunch was a tram ride. The girls loved it. It was a beautiful day, not hot or cold!! Peter watched a little World Cup futbol while the girls napped.
