Suddenly realized that it's been a while since I last came to my own blog.
Went for an amazing trip to Shanghai and Japan.
Favorite stop was Furano, Hokkaido.
Lovely fields of lavender and other flowers.

My dream is to go and stay in Hokkaido one day. At least another visit is necessary.
OH! And I met my future hubby in Odaiba too~!!

School sucks!
Super hectic schedule.
Even need to work on saturdays and sundays!
Kill me please!!! Totally screw every plan that I have... -___-"
Other than that, I kinda like the school.
Especially the people in it.
I heard the students are pretty great too!

Can't wait to meet them.
But loads of work are already piling up...
Just hope that I have enough energy to finish them all.
Going back to school for 2-year part time teaching diploma.
Lessons on every wed, thurs and fri nights.
Geez... where got time for dateS?
Haha... I'm just kidding...
So much to do, so little time...
Perhaps it's about time I hire a personal assistant...
First objective: more time for zzz... >.<

Sometimes beauty, like a solid friendship, requires a long growing season.

Beauty is not static. It changes form, especially when it is in the eye of the beholder.

When you kiss a frog, it may eventually become a handsome prince or a beautiful house or a newly tailored dress or anything that at first seemed mediocre and plain. On the other hand, it may remain a frog. A plain, old greenish, web-footed frog. No surprises. No waiting for something better. Nonetheless, that frog could bring you more unexpected joy than you could possibly imagine, the kind of joy that sees nothing but beauty. After all, although a kiss is just a kiss, a frog may not always be just a frog.

Figure now would be the perfect time to blog since Tropical Warning Signal no. 8 was hoisted this morning (a.k.a. Typhoon no.8), and so i'm having a day off from work. Awesome!
Finally got the time to watch a vcd i've bought some time ago, 'The Bucket List' by Morgan Freeman & Jack Nicholson. It's really good. one can say that it's rather philosophical and it is... but what i like most about it is that it's really inspiring and intelligent and it acts as a reminder to me for not taking things for granted, especially people whom i love.
By the way, the main purpose of my post here is really to say a BIG thank you to Serene, Donnie and Amin for your lovely thoughts and presents! I absolutely love all of them!

Wow… I didn’t realize it's been 3 months since my last blog entry.
So much has happened in the past 3 months of my life that it felt more like an eternity to me.
The things that happened were mostly trivial, not even worth mentioning. As for those worthy of keeping, they have already been deeply buried in my fondest memory chest.
Anyway, the reason why I started blogging again is probably coz I've more or less come to the end of the school term now. Thus, more free time and better mood too. Today is, in fact, the last day of lesson before exams start tomorrow but I’m having mixed feelings about that.
Happy coz I will be pretty free from tomorrow onwards since all the teaching duties are done. Now it’s only down to invigilation in 2 days out of the 11-day exam period. And I simply can't wait for what I've planned in the summer holidays that follow.
Worried coz I’m still uncertain of my career prospect for the coming school year. Although I’ve been given interview opportunities every now and then, it’s really exhausting to keep sending out application and going everywhere for interviews in those pathetically painful heels.
I’m still hoping that my current school could sign me for the next academic year since I’ve gained quite a group of ‘fans’ in school. But mostly, I just can’t bear to leave those little devils behind even though I’ve vomited blood coz of them in the recent past. That’s the problem I have, isn’t it? Being soft-hearted and all…
Well, to tell the truth, what motivated me most to write here is coz of the book I’m reading right now. In ‘If Life is a Game, These are the Rules’ by Cherie Carter-Scott, she talked about lessons being repeated until learned which I find inspiringly true and familiar.
Here’s an abstract from the chapter:
“Several years ago, Bill Murray starred in a movie called Groundhog Day, in which he woke up in the same day over and over until he learned all the lessons he needed to in that day. The same events kept repeating themselves until he finally “got” what it was he was supposed to do in each one.
You will continually attract the same lesson into your life. You will also draw to you teachers to teach you that lesson until you get it right. The only way you can free yourself of difficult patterns and issues you tend to repeat is by shifting your perspective so that you can recognize the patterns and learn the lessons that they offer.

Well, perhaps that explains why I have been MIA for the past 3 months for I was simply too busy learning my lessons and teaching others at the same time?

was getting a bit tired of my old template.. so with my brother's help, here's a totally fresh look for my beloved garden~
well, lately, i've been indulged in this romantic drama on tvb...
the reason why i actually watch this drama series in the first place is entirely because of the casts.
these 4 leading actors and actresses are my favourites and it turns out that it's a rather nice romantic comedy. just exactly my cup of tea~ :)
and it's coming to an end this friday already... finally, i won't have to stay up late just to watch this drama and hopefully by then, i will be more rested... *____*

I didn't know he was actually the same guy from '300' and 'Beowulf'... oops!
Then again, I can't help 'falling in love' with Gerard's character in 'P.S. I Love You' after watching it yesterday. I guess no one doesn't like Gerry in the movie...
The guy with the perfect face, body, sense of humour, romantic nature, sensitive, caring and loving. everything! A man like that... where to find?

And Hilary Swank was great too. What a great body she has!! Loving her hairstyle in the movie, by the way.. heez~
Anyway, now I've experienced that watching a romantic film on such a special occasion isn't a wise choice afterall... too much negative emotions. watch the movie and you'll know why...
ah well, still... I enjoyed myself and there's no other way I would have spent this Vday than the one I had :)
And erm... I wonder what's been happening with my throat lately... it seems to be getting weaker ever since I started teaching and when I lost my voice once in Oct... and losing your voice on the 2nd day of school and on vday day isn't too much fun, really... Thank God my students were unusually angelic yesterday and helped me get through the lessons with ease.
As for now, I better find a remedy for getting back my voice over the weekends... no talking for me for now... *zipped* -___-
