Dearest Bedah

I am very happy to inform you that I have fallen in love with you since Tuesday, the 17th of August 2003.

With reference to the meeting held between us on the 17th of August 2003 at 1500 hours, I would like to present myself as a prospective lover. Our love affair would be on probation for a period of no less than three months and depending on compatibility, would be made permanent. Of course, upon completion of probation, there will be continuous relationship training and relationship appraisal schemes leading up to promotion from lover to spouse. The expenses incurred for coffee and entertainment would initially be shared equally between us. Later, based on your performance, I might take up a larger share of the expenses. However I am broad-minded enough, to be taken care of, on your expense account.

I request you to kindly respond within 30 days of receiving this letter, failing which, this offer would be cancelled without further notice and I shall be considering someone else. I would be happy, if you could forward this letter to your sister, if you do not wish to take up this offer.

Dear Abu

Please refer to your letter dated today. I am pleased to inform you that I hope to accept your proposal for romance. However, you should be informed that there are certain conditions of acceptance. Promotional prospects are to my satisfaction. However, please enlighten me as to your retirement benefits. Gratuity should be generous.

I also need to be assured that there is sufficient security with regards to this commitment. If there is any chance at all of retrenchment or consequent disinterest on your part, then I should receive monetary compensation according to union standards.

Due to the nature of my position, I am sure you will agree that an expense account should be arranged for my access in light of the 'VIP' I shall be entertaining. In addition, housing and transport allowances should be in order and nothing less than a Jaguar is in order.

Please also note that there should be no moonlighting restrictions placed on myself. If you are still interested in the relationship,please reply on an urgent basis as other prospective lovers have sent indications of interest.

Please also note that my sister is happily employed.

Of Pancakes and Poori

Despite the rainy evening, we still decided to meet up. I thought he was only going to fulfil a wish of mine, which was to be able to try the pancakes Diana introduced me to... Although the place was near his school, he wasn't sure of the place as he's never heard of it before. Strange, I thought.

Anyways, we finally found the place. It was quite secluded.. and before that I also saw "Play Nation". It was the place my colleagues went to the other day to play wii / other electronic games.. Okay.. Back to our pancakes..

We finally arrived!! And I suddenly remembered what Diana said.. "Mus, the place is usually crowded, you might wanna call to reserve seats."

OMG!!! I totally forgot.. I told him.. and we decided it's okay, if it's really that crowded, we'll proceed somewhere else.

And tadah... apparently there are still seats available.. phew! We got a cushion seat on 2nd floor right at the end with mirrors by our side. It was a nice ambience with the orange light on the table.. The cushion seats were meant for bigger groups, but there we were conquering the place haha! It was quite nice albeit the noisy school girls seating near us.. -.-"

(A mouth-watering ultimate chocolate fix with Chocolate Pancakes served with Chocolate Ice Cream sprinkled with Chocolate Flakes and sliced Strawberries topped off with homemade Chocolate Sauce.)

To be honest, I wasn't that impressed with my order... although the Buenos & ice-cream were very tough competition to beat... but his order presentation far exceeds mine.. oooh.. and I got his strawberries! Haha!

I used to blog a whole lot when I was in secondary school and during poly days.. now that I'm working full-time.. I am so absorbed in activities that I rarely get the chance or the time to blog. Even if I wanted to, I feel the unnecesary thoughts creeping inside me telling me to stop and just go to bed. "Time is precious, and you need rest, if not you'll be sleepy at work and in class" is what it always chants in my brain. LOL.

There was a period of time when I totally ignored this blog of mine that it became shrouded with cobwebs and dust.

Sharing is part of growing up, I hope to treasure and re-cap all the good/bad/happy and sad memories here. InsyaAllah I will try again.

I was just chatting with a new colleague of mine one day when I found out that she collects Barbie Dolls. How quaint! She said she already has 12 dolls in her collection. To add on to her interest, I quickly clicked clacked on my keyboard to google a Barbie Doll which I was currently fascinated with...

Can you guess which of these 3 absolutely stunning dolls am I currently obsessed with? Haha no prizes for correct guess, well of course it's the Eiffel Tower Barbie Doll! When I first saw her, I was totally mesmerized and captivated beyond words... I mean just look at her.. Understated elegance and such classic French beauty immersed in a doll..

Alhamdulilah Syukur

Salams beautiful people..

Just wanna wish all of you reading a Happy New Islamic Year! :) Alhamdulilah Syukur, all praises be to Allah S.W.T. not only had my family and I made it into the new year safe and sound, we received a brand new arrival in the family.. Lol.. I realised I'm about a month or two late, cos the Little Adorable Princess, Auni Syauqina was born on 31st Oct 2010 and oh boy was it sucha momentous occassion! My first niece!! I hope she's gonna love me! :D Hehehehe!

Coming back to today, with the help of Hash, the car has gotten repainted and un-dented, looking brand new.. :) And also... I've finally braved the odds and peeped at my results, (which did I mentioned was already out almost a week ago hehe but I haven't looked yet cos was too chicken) and Syukur I cleared all subjects.. YAY!!! And what with a surprising distinction for a subject which I've never felt confident in.. and although the other 2 weren't exactly a distinction, the fact that I made it was all that mattered!! InsyaAllah.. I'm going to be aiming for Distinction & High Distinction for my last 4 subjects. AMIN! :D


Oh and to address the state of this blog.. although I did say I was going to be making this a fashion blog as what was said previously, I've yet to get into the rythm of taking pictures of my outfit... and this is partly due to the lack of a good digital camera hehe.. my hot pink camera (2007 present) is currently on offline mode because I can't find the charger to charge the battery haha! Silly of me, I know! Just let me sort the stuff in my room (when will it ever get sorted out properly?! I'm not sure myself) out before I get on with my plans ok.. hehe... :)

Fashion Blogging

Hey ya'll, this blog has been with me for ages, but it seems to be dilapidated..
I guess it's about time I spruce it up with new content? :)

Anyways, I've been contemplating this for a very long time, believe you me, and the passion outweighs the hassle for sure. And I'd love to share this passion with the online world or perhaps just for keepsakes memories of myself so that I'll remember how my style evolved from year to year.

InsyaAllah with this, it will also help me to improve myself to be a good muslimah without forsaking my personality or style.
