Some updates from last week,

met up with Esther babe finally!
I miss her so much! And also miss our school holidays together when we were teaching in the same school, haha.. We just keep going shopping and shopping non-stop haha...

my parents came back from Europe and guess what they bought me?

A miniature cuckoo clock, hhaa! Look at the size of it with relation to my hand, haha.. It's cute.

My parents visited some place in Germany (?) which was said to be the origin of these clocks.
They even bought a bigger one and hung it in the living room.
It's really noisy cos the cuckoo bird keeps calling every other hour, waking me up in the middle of the night. Major ZZZ... -_- yupp im a light sleeper.

Before they flew off, my mom asked what i wanted for a souvenir. I actually asked her to help me buy a Prada bag, wahhaa.. knowing full well that she won't cos she doesn't believe in spending thousands on a bag.
So i asked her to buy me a Hello kitty Swarovski pen instead. However, i didn't specify i wanted a white one, and my dad chose the purple one instead.

Lancôme's Youth Activating Concentrate. Got a 1ml sample in HerWorld magazine and love how this makes skin look radiant the next day. I'm so getting it.

Denim overalls from FOXbaby for my nephew. It's really cute..
omg. i can totally forsee the "omg-this-is-so-cute-i-wanna-buy-for-小樂-syndrome"

The smallest size is 3-6 months. He is only 5days old now, haha.. No harm getting it first right? haha... i can give it to him on his 1st month, hehe.
Anyway, i think babies look cutest in a jumper, heh..

My most costly purchase of the week. Aeh actually no, Lancôme is comparable, ahha..

Yes, i bought a guitar from Yamaha. U could say i bought it on impulse, cos i'm so addicted to the song 愛你(what u are hearing on my blog now), and i want to learn how to play and sing it so much that i went to buy a guitar.

The strings on my previous C40 snapped, plus .... it's not in my house now, so i couldn't play it. The guitar was a gift from my dad back in my poly days.
I remember it's quite affordable for a beginner classical guitar.


The C40 is selling at $155.
There was a discount for C70 (original price was $190, and selling at $155 now). Better sounding than C40 and yet same price ^ ^ It was the last piece so i grabbed it :)

And i've forgotten all the chords already. I used to play it back in my poly days, usually to sing Hymns..
but i'm learning plucking now :)



It has gold and white tuning keys. but dunno why it keeps reminding me of coffin -___- sorry im so morbid, Lol

My little nephew was born!

When my brother msged us at night that my sis-in-law was admitted to hospital, we were all waiting in anticipation for little Ethan to be delivered.
The labour took very long and baby was born the next day at 1.03pm :D

Was in the office when brother sent us this..


i squealed in delight when i saw him! ahhaa.. Love those red lips! haha
Seriously, i was SUPER HAPPY omg.. i can't believe why i was so touched, haha.. but i was!!

After that, one more photo sent in.... OMG so cuteeeee!!!!!

After work, i CHIONG to Thomson medical centre. Of cos, not forgetting a bouquet of flowers and a cuddly bear on my way, hehe


Baby Ethan was sleeping soundly. He looks so peaceful and so demure, wahaha... and doesn't cry one :D


He is so tiny and rosy....plus his hair and skin is so soft! HUGS ♥♥


Brother managed to take a short video of baby when he was awake. It's a very nice video cos it captures all baby's funny expressions, haha. i could watch it a dozen times and still feel very touched, haha...

Yes, i'm obsessed with my little nephew! hahaa

Today the smell of the haze became really bad.
The highest point of PSI at 401 is HAZARDOUS!

And i had to leave the branch for an appointment when PSI was at today's peak. -_- It was crazy.
Didn't manage to get any masks from the pharmacy as they were all sold out :( so i had to brave the haze without any protection...
But the moment i stepped out of the branch into the haze, my colleague shouted very loudly, asking me to U-turn back indoors.

He said not to go outdoors without a mask. We ended up stealing some n95 masks from the Emergency Pack / SARS pack from the office. By right, only emergency then can use, but we Dont care liao.. whether got sars or no sars, just open and use!! Who cares about SOP now

My eyes stung like mad when i put on my contact lens in the morning, I was still wondering if it's the haze...


End up is not the haze, wahaha..

Culprit is this.. cos i think i didn't soap my fingers thoroughly and the cream got into my eyes -_-

These 2 tubes came in the mail, Hehe.. guess what they are for? haha...

Bust cream @@, works wonders. REALLY :) of cos, i learnt how to massage with the right technique from the salon many years back.

usually regular massage will increase half a cup only.. and u need to be really disciplined. So lower ur expectations abit, girls... haha

My parents are coming back to Singapore tomorrow! Can't wait. haha.. cos the longer they are away, the higher the death toll in the fish tank :(

I already tried my best to take care of the fishes! But.......

i wonder if it's the haze!

Changed the water in the tank, replaced with the water my dad had prepared.

My colleague had the most beautiful wedding solemnization at this glass chapel in Bali last month :)
I swear she was the prettiest bride i've ever seen, haha.. really.

So perhaps, that inspired me to do something quite crazy for her. Lol..
I decided to draw a portrait of the newly-weds.

I went for my second appointment at Calvin Chan laser clinic today.

I'm supposed to schedule my laser treatments 3-4 weeks apart, but it has been 6 weeks since my last session. I was really busy and couldn't find time till this evening.

Today, this beautician who helped me remove my make-up advised me to do the Fraxel laser treatment (the 1 week downtime one) as it will be much more effective than Medlite. She said Medlite treatments are very slow and not so effective. She even suggested IPL. i was like, hah? Zzzz

Anyway, she helped me to use the machine to take photos of my side and front views and compared them to the ones i took 6 weeks ago.

Indeed, my pitted scars are shallower and the red marks are less obvious. Skin was brighter too, hehe..
When the doctor came and saw the photos, he was pleased that my skin was 'responding' well to Medlite and happily said, "Shall we do this again today?"

Today's laser session was longer. I was feeling happy about it, haha.. more value for money what. heh...
Dr said i frowned alot. It feels slightly painful but bearable though. And skin didn't feel as hot and raw as compared to my last session.
After that, i had AHA treatment again. 15 minutes and i was all done.

Skin isn't so red today, hehe.. and pitted scars still there la, but with a few more sessions, i really hope they will be smoothened out more.

After 1 hour ( i went shopping after that, hehe), the redness subsided and of cos, got put make up conceal abit.



Please let skin be better!!!!! i aim to be able to throw out my concealer one day!

Today is the first day for the launch of McDonald's Hello Kitty number 2 haha..

Was planning to eat Mac for lunch but an ex-colleague came to find me for lunch. Didn't think it would be nice for her to travel all the way from Raffles place to just eat McDonald's right...
Plus she is not a soft toy lover. Oh well,

So basically, i had 2 meals for lunch today. Fat die me. I'm gonna be vegetarian for the rest of the week. I am really eating alot these few weeks. Even my aunt commented that i became rounder. zzz No, i cannot let it happen.

I like the hood down cos it looks like superman.

I finally got my locker at my workplace :) Kitty stays in there to motivate me.

My colleagues were chatting over a beer after work and motivating one another. I suddenly feel i have a new found goal that i wanna work towards! It's not just 'lobo-ing' around and delivering my bare minimal.
I have to stop feeling sick of work already. I found out that it is important for me to have a goal to work towards or i'll feel very lost and demotivated...and i will wanna quit.

i hope things will change for the better! I need divine help, Lord!



Cousin kaya inspired me to buy this! haha.. a Gym ball!

i have checked out the gym balls sold at those sport shops. Price range from 35-55 bucks. Damn expensive.
I was quite happy to see that i could actually order a gym ball for a fraction of the price from Gmarket :)
Self-collection the very next day from Plaza Sing.

I only wanted to shed my tummy fats. Cousin Kaya says it can be done if i do the posture with the yellow star.
BUT why do my thighs feel worked out instead of the abs?
Maybe im using the wrong set of muscles. Hmmmm... i must ask her again when she's back from Taiwan. Lucky girl!

I need to go work out liao, haha.. Feeling damn bloated dunno why.
I've been having very late night dinners cos i reach home usually 9 plus 10. Grandma keeps the leftover food for me :) hehe..
i need work life balance. haha.

Yes, work smart. not hard. I'm trying (very hard) to enlighten myself.
