It's a happy day again :)

It's coming to month end and work is SLIGHTLY less stressful towards the end of the month, haha..
Moreover, i'll have another OFF day tomorrow and i'm so looking forward to it!
Although we have nothing concrete planned for tomorrow, it's good to just stick around with ur loved ones.

I've found this facial mask that is quite effective :)
Usually, i'll buy different masks to try out.. like MyBeautyDiary etc...

I found these korean masks at Guardian selling quite cheaply, so i bought the rice wine to try out. Rice wine is SKII mah, no? haha or closest to it, at a fraction (or 1/100) of its price.

And i was surprised at how it made my skin radiant after that :) Cos usually most of the facial masks i've tried do not seem to have any visible effect. At least for this, i noticed.
So i went back and stocked up on all the rest, haha

i bought some for the bf to try too. but i doubt he has even opened one yet.

The mask is unique cos it's 3D. Fits perfectly onto the contour of your face, hehe.. don't have to worry about excess cloth or parts of the mask not adhering to the skin.


I've just googled and found this info. (No choice, everything on the packaging is written in Korean. I don't know what i'm buying.)

Morning i woke up, as usual, with a more painful stiff neck. Super painful! :(
i thought i couldn't get off the bed. i think i know how it feels like to be paralysed. sigh..
My grandma gave me her koh yoke which was better than what my mom gave me yesterday. Cos now, it somehow doesn't feel that painful already. Or maybe it's the painkiller effect :(

Anyway, it cannot deter me from feeling happy cos today is my OFF DAY! *dances around*
In my post last week, i was saying i wanted to bring bf to the Japanese restaurant where cousin Bailin celebrated his 21st.. and we did today! YAY!!

and i 心血来潮 want to treat the boyfriend to a nice meal at a nice place :D
plus weekday lunch is cheaper, hehe

The buffet was from 12pm-3pm, but cos i woke up quite late around 10+, so we only reached the restaurant  at 2pm :(
Left one hour to eat only, the cashier told me that they will 'keep' the food around 2.45pm :(
But we were there already and i'm very excited, so we still went ahead.

I didn't know they don't serve Sashimi on a weekday lunch :((((
i was still looking forward to sinking my teeth into the fresh salmon slices :(((

This is one vintage dress which i thought was quite different from my usual style. But abit ahma, i think i cannot pull it off, haha.. Maybe a thin gold belt plus some accessories will do the job. Not the first on my wish-list though.


This one is my style, haha. lace and chiffon. but getting abit sick of lacy stuff in my wardrobe. think i have over 20 pieces of lace-related clothing, hahaa


A flowery corset top that's tooooooo tight for me. Omg, i got tummy liao and i look so bah bah here!

i like the colour though, but too bad don't have S size. This is XS which obviously is too tight for me.

In a darker denim, this fits nicely :) haha and can't see fatty tummy, hehe

My neck is killing me. i'm having another bad case of stiff neck.

My mom helped me to paste the koh yoke and boyfriend helped to massage my shoulders with Salonpas.
But it hasn't really become better.
In fact, the pain was more each day :(
Hope it's not chronic, haha.. The last time i had it for a week. They say usually stiff neck goes away after 2-3 days if it's caused by wrong sleeping posture. However, if it persists more than 7 days, then must consult a doctor.

i'll see what happens. Boyfriend says it's due to stress cos my muscles are tensed up during sleep. I think so too leh. Definitely stress from work! haha..
i must find a way out sooooooon!

The place was a Japanese buffet restaurant and the food was sooooo good!!! I'm not exactly a fan of buffet, but I managed to try everything there!
They even have tonkotsu ramen! SLURPPPPPPP!!!! i wanna bring bf there one day!

Last week, one of my regular customers came and gave me a belated new year gift.


She was so nice, kept 'feeding' me with food. When she came over, she always brought along homemade jellies, fruit cake, boh boh cha cha... which i shared with the rest of my colleagues.

This particular one, i brought it home :)

There were cookies and tea bags in a very pretty tin. On top of that, she gave me another box of Camomile tea bags.
:)

When i reached home, i left the gift bag on my dining table and went to bathe.
I was halfway bathing when i heard my mom call me from outside.

"The present on the table is for who?"

"Hah.. that one my customer buy for me one leh."

"How come she give other people present to you?"

"Other people present??"

"Yah lar.. got other people name written on the bag, you didn't see?"

I was thinking, hmmm... my customer really so cek arc pass me a present given to her by someone else meh?


When i came out of the shower, i scrutinised the whole bag to look for the name my mom mentioned that was written.
But I didn't see any name, so i brought it over to my mother and asked her to show me.

She answered,
"There.. here write so big the person's name 'Crabtree and Evelyn',  u never see ah??"

I know it's 6 days past New Year's Day, aha.. so this comes backdated.

I caught the most magnificient FIREWORKS display at Marina bay on New Year's Day when the clock struck 12am, hehe..

The last day of Year 2012, two hours before midnight, half the population was already at Marina bay, patiently waiting.

The floating balls were on the water, reflecting the coloured lights shining on them. Sight was awesome :)




I was there with boyfriend.

Look at the number of people here! Half of them were foreigners and honestly, i didn't feel comfortable being so close to the bangalah. Don't mean to be biased but too many news reports saying they sexually harass girls in countdown parties etc. So naturally i was very wary. And they will one whole group purposely push and shove very, very close to girls, like they want to accidentally come into contact with you. Must go with guy friends so that they can shield and protect you.



Then, 2 minutes before midnight, it started drizzling alittle! We were like, "wah laoo, can wait awhile??? 2 minutes only!"

Heng the rain didn't get bigger and it was 12am finally! YAY




I also took video but it would take very long to upload, and i don't have time today, keke...

See our super satisfied faces? The fireworks display was a good 8 minutes??? wahaha... bf shirt was wet with rain, keke...
