Im back! hahaa..
Last few weeks was "hell" at work cos i was sooooo busy!
Busy yet not fruitful at all, that's why it was so stressful! Grrrrrrr....

Good it's end of the horrible month and the new month awaits. Hopefully things brighten up a little. i can feel it already :)
Today was good cos i had my exam :)
Not that the exam was enjoyable, but it's an off day whenever i have a paper :) so at least i can have some time for retail therapy and unwinding... and blogging :)

The revision for the examination was horrid though. I didn't have time to study!
Last night, i was feeling sooooo sleepy from work that i slept very early at 10pm. Set the alarm at 3am to study and by 5am, i was dozing off infront of my textbook. So i took an hour's nap to recharge before climbing out of bed at 6am to study again.
It was crazy, cos i didn't know what i was studying!! And at noon, i went for my exam.

Those examination questions just stared back at me. I think i knew the answers to only 10% of the questions, and having to cross the passing mark at 70% seemed an impossible task. Plus, i was trying very hard to keep myself awake from the lack of sleep.
So i prayed in my heart, "Oh God. If you would have mercy on me, let me pass!"
And i ti-kum for most of the questions.

I couldn't believe my eyes when i saw a "PASS" on the certificate!!!
Cos i was expecting a Fail already, i imagined God would be saying, "u never study hard enough how can let u pass..." hehee... YAY thank You!! :D

And i got a booster from the big boss after that... :) Phew!

Some other random stuff that happened in the past week...
Had my hair cut. This was before
 
Dylan was trying to upsell me, like doing hair treatment / dyeing etc... it was so hard to reject people! But i made sure i didn't succumb to anymore 'money wastage'.
To me, hair treatment is wasting money haha.. i got him to cut away my damaged ends though, like that no need to do treatment already mah :D

And i went to buy a DIY hair-dye kit from Watsons after that. hehe.. i know, i just cut away my damaged ends, and i'm damaging the new ends again!
I bought the whipped cream hair-dye from BeautyLabo.
In January, i tried Candy Pink. This time round, i dyed my hair in Milk Caramelisee. It was more to beige. I think red undertones look better on me leh. I'm hoping my skin doesnt look washed-out with the new hair colour. But i think i'm too busy to care! haha
Terrible right? like no life now, haha

It's super soft and cute! I replaced my Rilakkuma pouch with this. I put my EZlink card in it and it's attached to my bag. I don't have to dig for my card so it's easier when i tap in and out

2 weekends ago, i spotted some new iPhone cover in a handphone accessories shop in Marina Square. It is called iDoll and the iPhone cover is actually a soft toy, haha!
i saw Rilakkuma iDoll covers!!! They were super cute but it's not very sane to be seen holding onto a soft toy by the side of my face and talking -__-

And while shopping at Bugis village, i saw the iDolls selling for 25 bucks each at one of the shops. But they were chiong ones.. as in, it's not the original iDoll. The Rilakkuma face looks distorted.. and basically, the quality was sub-standard.. the body and all.

I was thinking about it the whole time and last Saturday, i really buay tahan already! So we went back to Marina Square to buy it!
It was expensive :( $49.90.
But i couldn't bear to buy the chiong ones for 25 bucks, cos it looks really different from the original.

There is a metal frame at the back where it holds my iPhone in place. The chiong one, i think, is one clear plastic covering the back, and u just slip the phone in.

boyfriend likes cotton candy while i hates it! cos i remembered my horror encounter with my first Cotton Candy and it left me scarred for life. hahaa..
The story goes like this: i was at a fun fair and was pestering my mom to buy a cotton candy for me. i've never eaten a CC before and it looks so fluffy and cute i longed to know how it tasted like.

So after endless pleading, my mom finally buay tahan and gave in to me. I bought a pink CC!
First taste was YUKS. i hate sugary stuff and the CC was obviously too sweet for me.
But i didn't dare throw it away cos it came with a price.
Not literally the cost of the CC, but it was EGO, haha... cos i didnt want my mom to go, "There! Told u liao not nice one, u dont believe me lor. Belly good."

So i forced myself to finish the whole CC and still act like it was damn tasty. It was a torturous process!!!
Cos after that, i vomitted everything out, and was sick for 2 days.
ahaha.. i know very kua zhang, but true story.

So since then, i never touched cotton candy again.

Yeah, except for playing.

As much as i hate the new blogger layout, i'm quite excited with the fact that i can go and tag Labels for all my past entries, hehe..
I know so many other blogs already have labels tagged to each entry, so i'm considered very out-dated already, heh..

Last night, boyfriend and i booked a pair of tickets for the movie, The Avengers at Shaw Bugis 9.50pm. When we reached the theatre, we saw a whole crowd of movie-goers stuck at the ticketing counters. We were told that the projector was spoilt and they couldnt screen the movie! It was chaotic.As in all the disappointed Avengers fans (boyfriend was one of them) getting really upset.
It was crazy, cos when we collected our tickets at the Internet booking counter, the person didnt even inform us of the technical glitch. She even let us buy a Nacho combo for the movie, when she knew full well there was no movie to be screened. After that, we realised that the movie wasn't screening and there was already a long snaking queue at the other counter for the refund of the tickets -__- plus the food and drinks bought.

It was a blessing in disguise, cos we were fully refunded for the pair of movie tickets, combo sets (we ate and drank almost half while queuing up) and Shaw even gave us 2 complimentary passes to a 3D movie, wahahha...

So we redeemed the 3D passes for The Avengers at a later timing. haha.. really is watch free movie lor, hehe.. but the downside was, we wasted almost 2 hours waiting.

Yeah, great that today is Labour Day. I'm wishing for more public holidays... but i know it's not coming :(
