We ended up at Orchard Central's Spageddies!

Visiting Far East Plaza after so many years brought back memories of my NIE days, haha..

I remember going there with Esther babe almost every week and combing through the shops :)
I went there after work last night.
An off-shoulder top on a mannequin caught my eye and i knew it was something i would love, haha
It was very expensive cos it's imported from Japan... and when the salesgirl handed over the paper bag, i realised it was one of those shops i loved to frequent back in my NIE days but never bought anything from (cos everything's so costly).
Photobucket
Mis'skuzi

Not that i'm richer now. Just that, i have not been 'physically' shopping around for helluva long time. (OKAY. i buy alot of clothes online).. this is just to feed that 'addiction' since.
Photobucket
The flowery skirt that comes with it cost a hefty $89.90! So i only bought one piece from the shop. haha..
Jayen kept asking me how much this off-shoulder top cost but i refused to disclose, lol... so pls don't ask me how much here. The skirt is 89.90, so u can roughly guess how much the top cost already, haha

I wore it out today, hehe
Photobucket
;)

After tuition, we went shopping at NEX. NEX has always been a place for our weekday movies dates. We hadn't really been shopping there since it's like super near to my place.
Ask u go ur house downstairs shop u also will feel darn sian right, haha

But we had fun today! :)
Jayen helped me pick some really nice clothes from Nichii. I love this particular shop cos i think their clothes have quite nice designs and more importantly, it's rather affordable. It's a Malaysian brand.

Grey knitted shrug for cold office days.
Photobucket

I super love this lacy insert!!!
COS IT'S SUPER CHEAP!!! wahahahhaha~ It was on 70% sale and only cost $11.97!!!!!!
Photobucket
Photobucket
super great buy, hur hur hur!!

I also tried on a 3/4 sleeve work-worthy top
Photobucket
Photobucket
love the elastic gathers behind... But didn't buy in the end :)

The boy also shopped for his clothes at KITSHEN, hehe
Photobucket
This shop has quite fashionable clothes with decent price-tags too!
but the brand name abit like sell cooking ware one.
I just googled it and it's also a malaysian brand!

Thumbs-up for chic and cheap malaysian brands! hahaa

Lastly, my super-atas dinner at the Food court, wahaha
Photobucket

i'm in the mood to spend these few days, hehe
because i was waiting for that extra cash to come in and it did before my payday next week :)

Something i wanted for the longest time
Photobucket
Photobucket
Gel plaster for removing keloid scars. I know it's not going to work on my 18- year old BCG scar, but still, there's no harm trying.
Photobucket
The gel sheet has to be stuck on the scar for 12 hours.. for 2-3 months. Washable and reusable :)
This stuff is said to work wonders on keloid scars, according to reviews and the pharmacist.. but she added that it won't be effective on old scars, since my skin has already gotten used to it being there :(

Still, i'm not giving up :)

Guess what's my new toy i got from Thomson Plaza :)
Photobucket
teehehee~ an 4 GB thumb drive :p
Photobucket
It comes in all sorts of designs, it amazes me! From necklaces, jewellery, keyrings and even cards-thumbdrives!
Photobucket
i must be careful not to lose its legs.

Lastly,
Photobucket
:)
Photobucket
My HadaLabo's run out.. so Hyaluronic Acid in a cute Kitty tub, who can resist? :D
Photobucket

And met up with boyfriend after work today.. we went for a super-long-wait-yet-fulfiling-dinner @ AMK S11. Then, we went AMK hub's NTUC to walk around. Can't stand it, we becoming like auntie and uncle liao, frequently visiting Giant's, NTUC etc...
hehe

Managed to get some great buys!! haha
Photobucket
cameo bermudas from Tiong Kok on sale :D
Photobucket
we were trying to find the right size but realised all of them are H-sizes.
Jayen says H-size means Huge, haha

Looks good to wear and go neighbourhood, isn't it? lol
Photobucket
and that silly boy thinks he can fool the staff and walk out of NTUC like that, without paying -_-
Photobucket

Lok kok day, i like :)

:(
it's quite sad, cos i think i have no life, haha

i'm working like there's no tomorrow because i have certain goals i want to hit. However, come October, i will be able to relax a little more, so it's just half a month for me to PIA.

OMG, i'm actually only at Day 2, wahahaha....
And the entry for Day 1 post was back in January! Madness, haha

Okay, so Day 2 – The meaning behind your Blogger name

Erm. Blogger name is Peppermin (for short, PPM).
As to why it's named after some 'flavour' / herb, i have seriously no idea. I think i was trying to act cute back in my secondary sch days, so i gave myself a 'cute' email ID --> peppermink.
Many people have asked me why the last alphabet is a K instead of a T, the reason being....... i wanted 'peppermint' but someone else beat me to it, haha.. so i changed it to K. As simple as that

Then it evolved into 'Mink'. As in, some of my close friends (even my auntie! *faints*) called me "Mink" haha
after which, thankfully, nobody remembered after many years... cos i found out, Mink refers to fur from some animal that looks like a weasel.

Then, it slowly evolved to peppermin, cos Min is the last syllable of my chinese name.
hehe

And in case you are wondering, No, i hate the taste of Peppermint.
Maybe tomolo i can blog about Day 3, hehe
wish me luck

i wanted to blog so much these few days, but i'm feeling really tired :(
Simply can't keep my eyes open, sigh....

Today was mid-autumn and i can say it's my favourite festival, because i love to eat mooncakes!!!!!
Traditional lotus paste ones with egg yolk!! YUM YUM :)
Boss said we might have sales meeting this evening, so i made sure Jayen and i celebrated mid-autumn fest a day before! hehe

End up, sales meeting was cancelled and we still went ahead and celebrated twice this year, haha

Yesterday, we headed to Bishan Park at night. It was such a nice place after the 'revamp'. Though it's not officially open yet (cos the so-called beach is still under construction), there were many people there playing with lanterns and candles.
Photobucket
And there were wooden deck benches like this for you to lie on and watch the stars :)

Jayen was lighting up candles along the bench, hehe
Photobucket
while i lit up the other side...
Photobucket
Photobucket
i bought along 2 lanterns, 3 boxes of candles and 2 pig baskets (猪笼) mooncakes, hehe
Photobucket

There was a couple next to us who have put these up!! Aren't they pretty?
Photobucket

Look at the crowd! hahaa...
Photobucket
Eating my mooncake...

Photobucket

And got super lots of cam-whoring pics, hehe

baby
Photobucket
Jayen is very proud of his green coloured lantern.
He kept chanting, "In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might, beware of my Green Lantern's light....."
-____-
Photobucket
Photobucket

one of my favourite pic!!
Photobucket
This was what adopted both of our lanterns before we left for home! :p
Photobucket

And this evening after work, jayen came over to my neighbourhood to celebrate "Part 2" :)
We walked over to some park and started playing with sparklers and candles!
Photobucket
baby 'lighting' up a bench in the park with candles.
He says playing with candles was his favourite 'hobby' during mid-autumn festival since he was a kid.
Photobucket

i no 童年 one. I never played with candles nor lanterns :_(
i only got one battery-operated lantern given by my grandpa when i was 8.
Photobucket

Photobucket
Photobucket

Spotted someone trying to fly a Sky Lantern!! 孔明灯!
Photobucket
I heard it is illegal to fly one in Singapore, but.... i think nobody bothers, haha
Photobucket
It's really amazing! This lantern attracted alot of onlookers.
When the lantern slowly rose up into the night sky, all of us cheered. LOL
Photobucket
The funny part was when the wind started blowing it towards the HDB flat which was next to the park.. the lantern kinda got stuck at some window on the highest floor.. eventually it managed to rise further and all of us shouted, "YEAHHH!!"

hahaaa...

It was time to go home and we 'cleaned' up the bench by scraping all the candle wax into one big lump. Jayen was trying to squeeze it into a ball of wax (yuks!) and guess what came out of it?

A heart-shaped ball of wax, haha!
Photobucket
he claims that when there is love, even a ball of wax in his hand can turn out to be heart-shaped.
AWWWWWW~ :D

heh.. happy mid-autumn fest to all. I buay tahan liao, have to SLEEP RIGHT AWAY.
omg it's 1am

nites~~!
