It's sunday again :)
Time to blog. Realised my readership has dropped to one third, haha.. sorry peeps for not being able to update as frequently as i used to. To my loyal readers, thanks!! *touched* :)

boss says he will give me Off-days come July, yay!! Finally i can have more time for myself, loved ones and my little space here, hee...
Work has been very good and i'm very thankful.
Just that i have lesser time for my folks and boyfriend. So saturday nights and sundays are precious days to spend them fruitfully.

It was pay day yesterday and i was darn happy.
I told myself at the beginning of the day that if i could close good-enough deals that day at work, i'm gonna reward myself with a new bag after work.


and so i did! heheee.... Just a very simple bag, bo brand but i'm loving it! hehe.. Bought from Bata, haha!

Met up with jayen after work. We had dinner, went Orchard and ended up at Marina Square for a late night movie -The Ward (a failed attempt to imitate Shutter Island). Crap show..

While waiting for the movie to start, we went to the arcade to revive some lost memories, haha

Bought these for dad. He's still one of the very traditional men who uses good'O handkerchiefs.

It was very last minute cos i simply had no time to shop for a gift these days. So before i went out today, i popped by Isetan Nex and the only handkerchiefs i could find there are from Calvin Klein. Mom specifically told me to buy handkerchiefs cos dad doesn't really need anything else.
End up when i got home, mom chided me for buying such expensive ones -__-!
No choice larrr... Isetan at Nex very cui one.... only got one brand lor.

Anyway, i didn't understand why she got so upset la. It's for dad what.. plus now inflation, everything also very expensive lorrr... if hor, she knew how much i paid for my bras the other day, i think she will nag me to death...

and also a good deal for 2 Triumph bras, wahahaa.. There is a lingerie bazaar near my workplace and usually, the bras are selling 1 for $79.90. Now, i got 2 for the price of one, teehehee~
Yes, it is very expensive.. so i limit myself to new ones maybe once a year? heh...

i feel like an auntie waiting for good bargains before i spend my money.
Hopefully, it's good as i can start saving $$$. hehe..

It's Friday tomorrow! Time really flies. I think i lost touch somehow...... due to working hard everyday. Even when i'm sleeping, i can dream about closing deals. LOL

A little update of the past week...
My past week has been good. Very good. In fact, extremely good :)
Work is good. Very good.
and i've got only God to thank. Thank you Lord for your divine providence.
He has given me more than enough. So much, so much more, it's overflowing.

He has blessed me with so many sales, i'm currently top in the district now in terms of saving endowment sales. For someone so new, my manager said i'm already a legend. He said none has closed such huge tickets before and i have already helped to hit half of our team's target now. He is extremely proud of me and the big big boss has also personally thanked me for the results.
It is like a dream come true.

And all these, i credit nothing to myself. For i know where i stand, my inadequacies and it's impossible to obtain this kind of result solely through myself.
I'm never a salesperson, and there are so many things i have yet to learn.. but God has truly blessed me richly. I'm typing all these with such thankfulness in my heart. If it's not you, who else?

Thank You for giving me hope for the future, and thank You for all that You have provided us with.

:) It's a brand new week tomorrow.

my parents have gone to China for holiday since last week and they are returning home tomorrow. Thank God i don't have to eat the horrible catered food these few days when they are overseas, cos grandma stopped the catered food for a week and she cooked my favourite braised pork trotters with peanuts!!
YumYum.. and the 2 of us eat it everyday! hahaa.. my grandma also hates eating the catered food.
It smells bad and tastes really bland, urgh.

Everytime i reach home super hungry, i will lose all my appetite when i see the dishes on the table.
maybe that explains why i'm skeleton.
I wonder why our catered food tastes so bad :(

And that is why everytime i happen to eat outside with my classmates / colleagues, i would be telling them how tasty everything is -_-
until nobody believes me.
My classmate even asked everyone not to trust me when i recommend any food i think is nice tasting lor... cos to them, it'll only be just average -_-
Can't blame me. I always get to eat horrible tasting catered food for dinner at home, hahaaa
so my standard very low one.

Only my grandma's cooking is da best! :P


Had quite an enjoyable day at work. Not everyday i can feel light-hearted one, so i must make sure it lasts, haha.... Cos i'm supposed to be stressed since i'm doing sales and have targets to meet, but i still happy-go-lucky, lol.. i think i will drive my manager crazy soon, keke..
However, i'm quite sure sales will come in, even without having to hard-sell (cos me definitely against it, personally)
I hope work will be good. and everything else will be good too.

Do you believe a person's birth date can actually determine his or her character???


The other day, my colleague was teaching me how to 'read' a person's character from his/her birth-date. She said it's one way she gets to 'know' her customers even before they speak. I know these stuff seem alot like superstition, but for the fun of it, i don't mind sharing over here. It's not something i would believe, but i thought it sounded quite interesting, lol

Firstly, you write down the person's birthday.
In this case, i'll just share how she actually calculated using my own birthday.

Step 1 is to pair up the numbers and then add each set up, so that i end up with 4 numbers in the end.

meaning,
2+0, 0+8, 1+9 and 8+1
i get
2, 8, 1, 9

Next, pair up the remaining numbers into 2 pairs and add them up so that i end up with 2 numbers.

2+8, 1+9
=
1 and 1

Lastly, add the last 2 numbers up, i get
2.

Everybody's number is unique to themselves, and according to my colleague,
1 = Leadership (小金)
2 = Communication (小水)
3 = Determination (小火)
4 = Action (小木)
5 = Direction, dreams (土)
6 = Wealth (大金)
7 = Human relations (大水)
8 = Temper (大火)
9 = Success (大木)

so i'm 小水 and i don't know what that means.
She told me 2 = communication, so i'm a person who values communication and it's my strength....
WHICH i dont quite agree with, cos i usually clamp up and everyone knows i can't communicate for god's sake...
As in, most of the time, people don't understand what i'm trying to convey across. So i asked her why is that so, since i'm supposedly strong in communication. And she explained that the reason was cos 5 was lacking from my set of numbers, which means i do not exactly have a clear direction to express my thinking or words. So people would be confused and wont know what i'm trying to tell them.

From my birth date, these are the numbers that were derived,

which means i'm also super stubborn (cos i got three 1s) and i find it hard to save money (cos dont have 6) SO true! lol..
No 4 also.. means i am NATO (no action talk only) hahaa.. and lacking in determination.

She analysed that jayen knows what he wants in life (5= Direction and dreams) and he knows exactly how to go about reaching that goal (4= Action), however lacking in 3 (Determination), it's hard for him to persevere through. But there are 9s in him, so he can find success.
Same as me, he doesn't have 6 (wealth), so we should start saving soon, lol
(Yes, we are planning to start a savings endowment plan very soon so that we can have a lump sum of money after 10 years, keke)
We also dont have any 贵人s (7) in our lives, so have to very much depend on ourselves liaoo...

Actually there are more to this la, like if you are 水, cannot find 火 partner etc.. lol
After that, we started calculating for our boyfriends and colleagues, keke.. then i was telling her, my mom is sure 8 one lor, cos she's so fierce. hahaa

end up, she is really 8 and 大火 somemore! so of cos me (水) and her (火) sure got conflict, wahahha..

Now, u can start calculating for yourself and ur friends liao, hehee...
Anyway, just take it with a pinch of salt la.. Though i do believe somehow a person's personality is something he/she is born with, But through life experiences, we can definitely be moulded to be someone we want to be eventually!
