i'm a winner! hahaa
Managed to pass my paper yesterday, hehe :) and i was 'rewarded' with my first pay! Even though it's pro-rated, i'm still very thankful, ahha!!
I've just booked another resit for my FINAL paper, the one that i feel is the most difficult :( It will be my 3rd attempt. Arghhhh... i hope i can pass this time round! It's so damn expensive! i can buy 4 dresses with the money! -__-
And then after that, more internal examinations will come. I really need alot of divine help!
I'm usually not so scared for examinations as this time round! Maybe cos i failed a few times, i became super stressed and phobic, haha
The exam is electronic, so when time's up, you will see either a PASS or FAIL on the computer screen straight away.
Many people just click 'Finish' when they completed the paper, but i've never plucked up enough courage to do it. Usually, i'll just wait for the count-down and cover my eyes (Yes i do that!) while i pray and pray and pray!! hahaa (The last 10 seconds are the most horrifying experience! u know, something like panic attack!)
I know. i'm a scaredy cat! sigh
But the experience was so surreal when i saw a PASS on the screen yesterday, i wanted to cry! Serious! haha it's so dramatic.... while other candidates just, "okay, i pass. Cool."

i think jayen doesnt really like me to be in OL clothes, or maybe he's not used to it? Even though he tells me i look good, but still, i think he prefers me in the 'guai guai little girl' look :( or maybe i'm overly sensitive? haha

Oh btw, i have a new name- Faith :) for work.
i actually had this name which I used mainly for online transactions and credit cards but it's not really official. I like it cos the name sounds very calm and reminds me to have faith in God, heh.. :)
lastly, i do hope it suits my face! Haha

Hi peeps :)
it has been a long time, heh..
i hope you all have not forgotten me, though i'm now left with only half of my life, wahaha~
i have a wee bit of time to blog cos i just finished one paper and am back home earlier. Yupp, i cleared it, thank God.
I'm not exactly worried about this paper, but more for tomorrow's. I hope God can have mercy on me! haha... It would be a second retake :(
Though i love studying, this is getting abit crazy, haha.. imagine, paper after paper. I just finished 2 papers on Tuesday (btw, one died T_T), and yesterday was mugging for today's paper. Now i'm back home, gotta chiong for tomorrow's paper. I can't even have a breather!
The stress and late nights are taking a toll on my skin :( Pimples are popping out! WAIL T_T
my skin very jialat now, sigh.. and i don't have time to go facial :(

I'm wearing Intoxiquette's Victoria Beckham-inspired sheath workdress!!! I'm so happy when i received it cos it's fits like second skin and very OL!!! wahahaha~
I have been buying alot of working clothes online the past 2 weeks.. and it's getting very addictive!! Though i have no money to buy anymore now, i'll be able to when my pay comes! hehe..
Anyway, i was darn light-hearted after passing my paper today that i went shopping! Swipe with credit card! hahaa.. i went NewLook and bought quite abit. Signed up for their membership (the Filipino salesger damn good, cos she talked me into signing up the membership card! I couldn't resist cos she got such a happy smile, haha.. and i also in a happy mood, so..... )
I love this pair of floral skorts!! It's from the kid's section though, haha.. but it's really cute, so i bought it. Anyway, the sizes are quite big cos is UK size. Their 14 yr olds already standing at 164cm, haha.. (i saw from the tag one)
The 14yr old one was quite loose for me, so i bought the 13yr old one, wahaha~ but still as expensive as the clothes from the adult section -__- i wonder why.
Anyway, the skorts are not for work.

I bought it so i can get the minimum purchase to use the 2 vouchers once i signed up for the membership! hehe
Okay, time to go and study! I'm so tired now, i think i'll go and take an hour's nap before mugging again! Have a good midweek, peeps! heee..

Styled my hair differently when i went out for dinner yesterday. hehe
i think the trend now is levelled hair length (read: not layered) which is slightly longer than the shoulders. i'm pleasantly surprised that Dylan cut it like that for me, and he didn't even tell me -_-
Mine is too long though, haha.. cos i didn't have the heart to cut it too short. And my hair is too sparse to sport that kinda thick shoulder length hair. so shall just make do with curling tongs and spray to volumize it a little.
Managed to style the ends to make it look thicker, wahaha.. and also curled in my fringe. I overdid it and looked very auntie!! So i straightened it back again, haha..
so it should look like this, with the ends curled in (supposedly)
Bought this pair of chiffon ribbon hairpins from NewLook @ 313 two weeks ago. It actually comes in pairs of the same colour, but i exchanged a nude one with a black. The cashier didn't say anything, so i supposed it's ok! haha
Jayen's sister gave me a romper 3 weeks ago before she flew off, hehe *thanks!*
it's really, really pretty, but i think there's too much skin shown! i kept pulling it up (to cover the top) and down (to cover my thighs) but there's not enough cloth to -__-!
see when i feel sexy, i might wear it out again, wahaha

i come back defeated. LOL
nope, i didn't pass my paper today, haha
It's more like sending myself to suicide. My batch of trainees recorded the passing rate for this paper 20%, and i think i've just lowered the percentage down a little to 10% today, haha
To be honest, I didn't think it was really that difficult to pass la. It was only because we did not have ample time to study for it. And to digest 400+ pages in 2 days was not humanly possible. I spent my past 2 days buried in the textbook (really is study and nothing else!) That's why you don't see me blogging, haha... I was mugging and sleeping only 3 hours for the past 2 nights :_(
and i was in the slouched posture studying for so long that i cannot raise my head now! I think i've strained both my neck and shoulder muscles. My fingers are also numb from writing too much! T_T
Seriously lor, i've never studied so hard in my life before! hahaa!
And still fail! I want to die lor!
Anyway, i managed to correctly answer 80+ out of the 125 questions in today's paper. However, the passing mark was 88, and that slight shortfall deemed me failed for the entire module :( wails*
I've just re-booked a slot for my second attempt at it.
Next week, i'll have 4 papers altogether. 2 on Tuesday, 1 on Thursday and another one on Friday.
'Good' luck to me, wahaha..
I'm very determined to pass my remaining papers! Though i've tried not to set any expectations (i usually don't, so that i won't be too disappointed, haha), i still can't help but feel a bit upset over it. And i kept asking myself "WHY???" haa..
And i didn't want my manager to know, but he found out when he received an email CC-ed to him from HR about the retaking of my paper. He called to ask if he could be of any help! He's concerned la, but i rather he not call me lor, cos i feel even more stressed!! haha cos now, i cannot secretly fail lor! hahaa
(btw hor, i'm not training to be insurance agent or property agent laa... haha)
No photos to upload cos nothing exciting happened for the past week. My blog is going to be very boring soon, hhahaa..
By the way, something very boliao and random... the blog counter just hit 250,000 views, wahahaha. Not that it's something important la.... but i feel proud cos it is built up very slowly one, haha! like 100 views per day :) so now my blog is approximately 2500 days old, Yay! hehe :)

i've got 25 chapters to cover for Thursday's exam but i spent one whole day only completing 4 chapters :((
Anyway, great news that i managed to clear Monday's paper! i was soooooo anxious while waiting for my results i could die from it! Can never forget that moment!
i'm still having slight fever but glad that the flu and cough is gone, hehe..

arghhh i miss blogging, haha.. and i miss sleeping in late in the mornings!
i think my body is really weak. Either that or the flu virus i caught from my colleague is very strong :(
The training place is so cold and despite wearing a blazer, it still left all of us freezing. I feel my 'Macau-days' are back, hahaa.. cold until i end up sick again. SIGH...
And i flunk my first paper! wail...... T_T
Not that i hao lian or what, but i very long time never fail exam liao lor! hahaa.. Monday is my second paper and i'm only 40% donestudying memorising. I'm seriously bad at memory work :( No wonder i could never score in History, heh..
But i'm determined to make it this time round! Don't worry, i won't be disheartened by my first failure! And i will pray doubly hard for Monday's paper, hehe..
My 'Sugarbomb' came in the mail! Joined the Benefit spree at Flowerpod and the spree-master was very efficient, haha..
I was contemplating between my usual all-time fave blusher (Dandelion) and this (Sugarbomb).
Read many reviews from Benefit's website and decided i should try Sugarbomb.
Dandelion has only the lightest shade of pink u see up there. But Sugarbomb has four different shades! hehe.. and it's amazing how i can swirl all 4 colours together into a very sweet pink!
The magic about Dandelion and this is that, you can apply as much as you want and it will still look natural! haha.. cos i've tried many other blushers which i had to sweep off excess when i accidentally applied too much, or else will look like ghost or siao one, haha
Sugarbomb just gives a tint of healthy flush on the cheeks.. i wont have to worry about going overboard with it, heh..
Don't think u can really see anything here, haha
Spree is good. haha.. Sephora sells it very expensive. I think i paid just half of the cost! hehe
Since i'm on make-up, just wanna post a photo of my eyes, hahaa.. cos i applied my new eyeshadow!! hehe.. I'm not very good with eyeshadows.. still in the exploration stage
Not very obvious also... but i was so happy that i could create the 'gradient' from light to dark! wahahahaha!!
yup, that's all. I only know how to apply one method, heh..
time to hit the sack :(

I was lucky and honoured to get a pair of premiere tickets to homegrown movie, Forever! Thinking that it was a love movie, the only right person to accompany me would be boyfriend himself.
Joey (the female lead) is very much in love with a music scholar from Taiwan, Gin. Despite knowing he's already engaged to another girl, Joey did all she could to 'snatch' Gin from her. Eventually, Gin was 'touched' by Joey's 'true love' for him and decided to be together with her.
i bet it's one production to encourage marriage and boost Singapore's fertility rate, which has declined and hit a record low in recent years, haha.. And it's teaching us that TRUE LOVE can overcome anything!
BUT!
Ironically, i didn't think it was True Love that changed the guy's decision. In fact, the female lead was so obsessed with the guy that she did crazy things for him, e.g. crooning a love song in the middle of the night at the void deck of the guy's place in a cheongsam!
(Boyfriend and i were squirming in our seats whenever the girl did those crazy stuff to make the guy like her! Boyfriend even asked me if i was sure this is a romance movie! haha.. he said it was more like a Horror movie!)
In the end, i think the male lead became so traumatized that he turned mad and accepted the girl's love. No?
hahaa..
so is it a movie worth watching?
hmm... i should put it this way, it's one that doesn't really engage much of your mind, so you can sit back and relax (read: sleep). I swear i saw people sleeping! haha
Still, i would love to thank OMY for a timely relaxation after a hectic day of work!!

I know i haven't been updating my blog, ahahaa.. i'm still alive
starting to miss u guys already, heh.. Anyway, I have been very busy since the first day of work on Monday :( For these 2 months, i would be going to the 'niao bu shen dan' place for training! It's so out of the way that i had to wake up at 6 in the morning... T_T
I thought there will be a teacher coaching us everyday, but there wasn't. They just gave us the books and the exam schedule, and we have to self-study there and prepare for our papers. The schedule is crazy one, haha.. like got only 1 or 2 days to study for a module before our exams.
I have 5 papers to clear for the next 2 weeks :((
BUT i'm not complaining! hahaa..
cos i love to study and i love it when i can be in a quiet room to study the whole day with no teacher coming in to disturb, wahahaa
i only hope i can pass the first attempt. My seniors from an earlier batch told us that if we can pass 4 out of 6 papers is considered very li-hai already! haha
Anyway, i can't really spend much time blogging cos i have to go continue mugging for my first paper this Friday! And i'm soooo sleepy i could hardly keep my eyes open!!
so i'll end off with this..

I have 5 papers to clear for the next 2 weeks :((
BUT i'm not complaining! hahaa..
cos i love to study and i love it when i can be in a quiet room to study the whole day with no teacher coming in to disturb, wahahaa
i only hope i can pass the first attempt. My seniors from an earlier batch told us that if we can pass 4 out of 6 papers is considered very li-hai already! haha
Anyway, i can't really spend much time blogging cos i have to go continue mugging for my first paper this Friday! And i'm soooo sleepy i could hardly keep my eyes open!!
so i'll end off with this..

I'm starting work tomorrow!
No, it should be 2 months training first, keke.. i'm so excited and nervous at the same time!! Wish me luck! haha
Yesterday was baby's payday, so he paid for our whole day's expenses! which i thought was quite alot, haha.. Thanks baby! When i get my first pay end of this month, it'll be my turn okiee! :DD
He wanted to go Iluma's Tornado again, haha.. it's the arcarde. Not the one on the same level as the cinema, but on the 7th floor :)
He's quite good with the 'Dump Truck' machine, cos he kept hitting the bonus!
Look at the machine madly dispensing the tickets, muahahaha~ very shiok!
and every bonus round we could get from 100 tickets to 300 tickets!!
See the narrow slots in between those toy trucks? He managed to get the token right into the slots like 9-10 times, i can't remember!
wahahahaha~~
we actually came here to play a few times before, and yesterday was the greatest haul of all, haha! i think we got like 3000 tickets playing the machine, heeee.....
And we changed the tickets for gadgets and a biggie teddy bear for me, YAY!
He got 2 sets of earphones, 2 mice (mouses), 1 thumbdrive.
I didn't want any gadgets, i only want the big teddy! hehee.. Teddy costs 1600 tickets!
Camwhoring with new love, haha!! Ooh and im lovin' my new bag too!

After that we booked tickets to the movie, Unknown. It was totally awesome!!! Can't believe it, we randomly chose from a few movies and this one turned out to be really nice!
It was such a lucky day for us, haha
Dinner was at
baby chose all the meat-dishes, haha.. cos he's a meat person.
I'm always a vege-person (i always choose beancurd, greens etc) but i guess the only way to fatten myself up is by eating more meat. Baby is footing the bill, so he gets to choose!
Teddy is sitting with us, haha

After dinner, we went up to the 5th floor for our movie. We took the lift and when the door opened at the third floor, two ladies walked in and one exclaimed, "OOOOH, what a cute dog!"
but when she saw it was not a dog i was carrying, she giggled and said sheepishly, "oh, it's a Teddy bear!" hahaa
Teddy was getting too much attention cos it was so big. The ticketing person still said i have to pay for an extra movie ticket for it! haha
But it was a fun day, hee.. and did i mention the movie was totally awesome??

i got my foundation, hehe
Some very nice readers / friends have suggested brands (Chanel, Ettusais) that they are loving, i also asked my sister-in-law about her Estee Lauder's foundation and read forums etc..
Somehow, everybody's opinion varies and i won't know which brands will suit my skin, so it's best to go down and try them out myself to see which i find the most comfortable :)
Didn't intend to get my foundation when i met jayen at J8 Bishan yesterday (cos i thought Tangs Orchard would have a wider variety of brands to choose from, like Chanel and stuff!). Jayen decided to get his hair cut so i walked around the beauty counters while waiting for him. Was happy to see Ettusais so i tested the liquid foundation on the back of my hand. It wasn't my first time trying Ettusais' products, haha.. In fact, i used to buy their concealers and powder. The thought of using medicated make-up products for my acne-prone skin makes me feel at ease, heee..
However, I found the liquid foundation a little too dry for my liking. I wanted something lighter and more watery. But the word, "Non-comedogenic", is really very tempting! haha
so i thought i would KIV it and see if i can find a better product, if not, i would come back to buy it.
Stopped by SASA and found the the Sana Natural Resource foundation for sensitive skin!! YAY i was so happy, cos Watsons stopped carrying the brand. Although i have one almost-used-up bottle at home (bought many years back) , i still pumped a lil out to 'test' again and.. i found it as drying as the Ettusias one lehh.. :(
There was another Japanese brand of liquid foundation beside it which i tried, but it also was too thick and dry :( :((
By that time, i very sian already.. and one SaSa salesgirl came over and asked me if i wanted to try a water-based foundation, Cyber Colours one.
In my heart, i was thinking, "simi cyber colour -_- must be she got commission if she sell that brand, tats why recommending me lor".. hahaa
with a skeptical mind, i still allowed the salesgirl to test the foundation on my hand.
AND I TELL YOU,
i was bowled over by the texture!!!! It was so watery and doesn't feel dry at all! And to some extent, it even felt very cooling! i was amazed, yes i was very, haha
Totally changed my perception of an off-the-shelf brand!
It had ALL that i wanted: Water-based, light weight and doesn't leave my skin looking yellowish / dry! And it's very affordable in my opinion! :)
It seems perfect and i thought i didn't have to look any further!
I was so happy i took a photo of the poster at the POP (point of purchase) display, haha.. and the salesgirl screamed (yes, she did -__-) when i snapped the photo. She say i cannot take photo -_- haha, but i already did... and i'm posting it, hee
I bought the GEMSTONE Aqua-Base Pudding Aquatic Foundation in shade, 02 Natural
Don't play play, got 6 gemstones in their ingredients!
Pearl, Diamond, Amethyst, Ruby, Coral and Jade! hahaa.. and it's recommended by 女人我最大 and some jap make-up artist with a very long name -_-
All these all not important.... cos most importantly, my skin loves it, hahaa
i can't wait to use it today, hehe
Comes with a spatula! Very good, can wash and dry easily after every application! Yay~ness to hygiene!
This is the amount i used for my face. I don't usually put on the whole of my face, just some parts with uneven skin tone (eg, cheeks, nose). The 'good' parts (very sadly, left only the skin close to my ears and jawline) i won't touch it with foundation. Don't want the skin there to be koyak like the rest of my face :(( I try not to apply on my forehead too cos hair(equals dirt) in contact with foundation is not a very wise combination.
My verdict: i like it :)
with flash,
i have some post-acne scars on my face, but they're cleverly concealed with IPSA's concealer, haha.. my all-time favourite though :)
No powder is needed to mattify the skin after application of the pudding foundation!!
Skin stays refreshed with no sticky feeling for hours! YAY
Still, verdict is not final yet.
Cos i need to monitor for a few weeks to see whether there's a reduction of clogged pores as compared to other make-up products i've used. But one comforting fact is that, i observed the foundation being easily removed when i washed it off with my Fancl cleansing oil :) and no whitehead bumps felt (means less clogging?)
So far so good!
