It's Friday again, teeheehee... supposedly my favourite day of the week (after 6pm)

but one project's deadline which is next week, is still bugging my mind now.
OK, i've done 30% of the work only, keke...

and i hope my personal fave quote,"I'm the most efficient at the last minute", doesnt fail me this time round.

this is so back-dated, haha..
ever since jayen started work, weekends were the only time we can have all to ourselves.
Planned to go little Gui lin at bukit gombak, but the rain started pouring when i was about to leave the house.
Jayen called and said he was stuck at one random void deck in AMK and he couldnt ride over in the heavy downpour, so i took a cab over to accompany him, hehe

we hate rainy days cos we'll be all wet on the bike :(
Thankfully the rain stopped after half an hour and we set off =)


To our dismay, it started raining again and we had to run for shelter at this void deck near Yishun.
we noticed this block has a cctv at the lift lobby. hehe.. it's rather unusual


and we started taking photos of ourselves in it, wahaha...
yes, we had nothing better to do while waiting for the rain to stop, keke...

we decided that bukit gombak was too far off and the weather was topsy-turvy, so baby brought me to marsiling instead.

i was looking for a birdday present for one of my kids, and jayen was so bored he had to self-entertain himself... ... ...

i almost went hysterical when i saw him playing with the Girls' stuff!

he can still say the My-Melody cashier is quite nice to play,
arghahhahaa!!!

anyway, i didnt manage to find the littlepony the kid wanted.. ended up buying star- stickers for myself instead, keke

i've been thinking of getting a new hamster house for pudding and when we went Kallang LeisurePark yesterday, i realised jayen also had the same sentiments.


we walked into this pet shop and bought a new house for pudding!!!!!
last time pudding had to stay in a small flat. Now, he can live in an ang moh chuu!! :D

actually it's not that big lar, cos i still need to hide it in my room without mom's knowledge.
yes, my mom still has not found out that i have a hamster residing in my bedroom. hehe
amazing right?


it has all the basic stuff pudding didn't have in his previous home :( which is quite sad.
He is getting fat, so a wheel for him to exercise in is definitely a necessity to shed off those excess fats...

...but STILL EATING!?!!


pudding checking out his new home.. and he spends most of his time gnawing on the metal which totally irks me!! The last thing i want is my mom to come into my room and hear the gnawing (which can be rather loud), and then flush my pudding into the toilet bowl (yes, tat's what evil her threatened me with if i bring a rodent home)

it was our second V day together, but the first we actually celebrated.. cos last year's fell on a busy weekday when we were both working.
They should always put v day on a weekday, so more people will go flower shops and high-end restaurants to kena tok

vday this year was a simple affair. it was just like any other weekends well spent together with love.. but with presents hehe
My gift to him was a hand-made clock with our photos, wahahaa....

Obviously i didn't make that clock. i merely collaged our photos in Photoscape, printed it at FujiFilm photo shop near my house and fixed the photo onto the face of the clock.

Didnt spend a bomb... i only ended up pulling out a few strands of hair trying to unscrew and dismantle the clock, and after fixing everything back in and screwing it up, i realised i forgot to clean the glass!!! damnit.....
so baby, if u look carefully at ur clock now, u can still see my fingerprints at the top left hand corner (where ur face is) wahahaa...


plus a Sheaffer pen. i bought 2 at one go, the black for him and the other silver one for me
hehe...
Oh yah, and i've forgotten to give you ur card baby, hahaa!


The other gift i did was a cake, hehe

i CANNOT BAKE a cake, but i can always CARVE one, wahahhahahaa....

hehe.. even the cream on the cake i also kalang kabut ....

Anyway, i woke up early in the morning to 'bake' the cakes and then i waited for him to call.
i think i waited until my neck also long liao, cos i didn't want to wake him up since the weekends is the only time for him to sleep in late.

He finally called and said he would come over by 3pm.

After lunch, we booked evening movie tickets to Look for a Star, starring Andy Lau and ShuQi.
Perfect show for a romantic date, hahaa..
While waiting for the show to start, we went Pasir Ris beach to cycle! we rented a 2-seater bicycle, haha! vday everything also must couple couple one mahh..



Jayen ended up trying to aim and throw pebbles into this old barrel in the middle of the sea -_-

it was definitely not as easy as it looks! haha

while he was throwing, 2 kids came and played together with him -_-!!

haha...

After our movie, we went Holland Village for some drinks again, haha.. At midnight, we slept on the slides at the playground nearby to look at the stars, plus feed some mosquitoes.

we went singing @ chinatown only to find the roads closed for a CNY event.
it's the last day of CNY and they were even having a fireworks display and lighting of the fire crackers.

they lit the fire crackers BEFORE the fireworks display, which i thought was a bad bad move....
cos...

the smoke and 'debris' of the crackers were raining over our heads and our eyes started tearing.

so most of us kept our heads down and closed our eyes DURING the fireworks display -_-

only managed to capture these few pathetic shots.

Then, it started 'raining gold'!!! wahahaa

and everyone tried to catch the 'gold'. hopefully it might bring us some luck, hehe

Our night ended with a nice dinner at this japanese restaurant =)

it was really good!! we shared a steamboat and a grilled pan.

after tat, we went west coast park for a nice stroll before heading home =)
