i cleared half of my room yesterday and im so darn proud of myself! wahahhaa...

i was lugging all the bags 2 by 2 downstairs at 12 midnight yesterday. my grandma just shook her head and muttered, "wah.. u really got alot of rubbish hor?"
i just smiled sheepishly at her.. well, clearing the bedroom isnt that easy, not only u need lots of physical strength, u also need to be hard-hearted, haha..
i adopted Cleo's 2 golden rules when it comes to spring cleaning --> If the thing is not beautiful, ask if it's useful. If it isnt, trash it!

tat's how i ended up with 7 garbage bags of 'trash'....

jayen told me i have to be careful with the disposal of the bags or else the police would be after me.
i was shocked i didnt know throwing too much rubbish would warrant an arrest?!?!
and he said, cos later the police will suspect me of murder and cutting up a dead body

was very happy today cos i only had one tuition in the morning :D and then i would be free all the way!
went over to jayen's place to disturb and also catch some sleep before going over to town for shopping and dinner with the gals =)

It was Ivy's bday!!!
we got her a nice bag and a charm necklace!

Fang says this is called a 'bucket'-bag.. heeeee...
think kaifen has one exactly like this! keke.. but bucket bags are all in the rage now! especially the vintage-looking ones!
i also have one from my last Taiwan trip!!! =) pretty!!!

anyway, we ordered our pasta! we were famished!!!
the food came shortly after that and we didnt have to wait long =) THUMBS UP!

Ivy's Vongole in Tomato Sauce, Fang's salmon pasta and my Vongole in White wine soup!!
Fang kept drinking my soup!!! cos she claimed it was SUPERB!!!

but then, it was really tasty!! haha..
look, she is eyeing it again -_-



but hor.. look at the amount of garlic left in the soup after that...

after our food, we were chatting and one of the waiters came with a bowl of ice-cream.
the three of us stared at him and said, "No eh.. u made a mistake. we didnt order anything else...."
and to our pleasant surprise, it was a complimentary dish from the restaurant cos it was ivy's bday!!!
wahhhhhhh.... :D

3 scoops of ice-cream.. in wasabi, lime and raspberry flavours!!!
keke.. and ivy was squealing with joy! ahaha!

and she wrote a Thank-You note to the manager for their wonderful service after that!


will definitely go back there for often!!!

got this checkered corset-like top from Bugis street while shopping!

it's really pretty and i love it so much!
it was very expensive :( and the salesgirl explained that cos it was imported from japan.

This top is for BIG-BUSTED women to wear but i'm not that well-endowed so it didnt fit that well

BUT i still bought it cos i had been looking for a top like this but couldnt find a nice one.. and i liked how it was fitting BELOW the bustline -_-

my grandma received Christ today!!


it was another morning where i woke early for tuition.
Didnt get enough sleep the whole night, was dreaming all the way till i woke in the morning.
i dreamt of my ex-school kiddos -_- again..

got prepared and went for work.
ended class at 1045am to meet my grandma at the market.
She needed help with carrying the groceries and also the buying of new year goodies from the supermart.

when i reached, i saw a lady talking to her.. and as i approached, i overheard my grandma repeating the sinner's prayer in cantonese! i couldnt believe my ears and i was soooo happy i felt tears of joy welling up in my eyes! OMG! Thank God now she's saved!

the lady turned out to be grandma's long-time 'market friend' whom she has lost contact with.
The lady even asked her where Jesus was after that and my grandma answered, "In my heart!"
i thank God for her =)

After that when she left, i asked grandma if she understood that after she's prayed the sinner's prayer, Jesus is now her savior. She told me, "Aiyah... i pray to all the gods lehh."

it was ahma's bday yesterday and she got all of us together for a nice lunch at a restaurant @ Telok Ayer St. Cant remember what the name was, heee..

the food was Okok but i enjoyed catching up with my cousins more, keke..
Ahma has 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren! wahahaa...

this is just a third of the strength, heee...

took some photos with my 2 girl cousins who were sitting beside me, heee..
even though there were 16 of us grandchildren altogether, only 4 are girls and the rest are all my nephews, haha
not to mention, ahma's great-grandchildren are ALL boys as well.

was rather tired after my tuition last evening, and i received an sms from Cousin Kimi asking if i were free to meet her for a drink.
my first thought was, "Huh.. what has happened to her??!??!"

cos we've never met up like this alone throughout my 26 (yes, im this old) years and throughout her 18 years of age before.
haaa.. unless is a yearly occasion like CNY or grandma's bday lar.. otherwise we never really got involved with each others' lives, haha..

Anyway, she said she was troubled and needed a listening ear, so we met up at Clarke Quay at 8pm. She got stuck in a traffic jam near Little India, so i bought our dinner first and shopped around Central while waiting for her..
AND IT WAS THERE I FOUND SO MANY FABULOUS BOUTIQUES WITH FABULOUS CLOTHES!!!!!!!!!
i was awe-strucked! seriously!!
i never knew they had so many new shops there and their clothes are so so CHIC!!!!!
went into this boutique called Concept 109 (the name abit orbiang though....) and i was going like, "O.M.G O.M.G......so pretty so pretty...."
their dresses are definitely no orbiang!! haa...
i was darn high and I WANTED TO TRY ALMOST EVERY PIECE!!!
hahaa.....

but i ended up only trying one piece and i got it immediately, ahha..
imagine if i tried on all the dresses -_-

kimi came around 845pm and she was so apologetic, haha.. but i just beamed at her saying never mind! no problem, haha! COS i got myself a new dress which i loved so much while waiting for her, hehe...

but it's some snooker ktv pub at boat quay where her bf won the snooker championship, hehe...
we ordered a jug of beer and chose 4 songs to sing.. but we sang only 2 cos the queue was long.
she actually wanted to talk to me about school and we ended up talking about our boyfriends, ahhaa.....



anyway, my mom was very concerned when i told her i was meeting my cousin.
She was like "You hor, better dont teach her the wrong thing ah! she is young and you as a big sister must advice her properly hor.. must study hard lar.. dont like this.. dont like that......."

rather late when we left the house on Friday cos he needed his beauty sleep after his work the night before. Most of the shops were already closed when we reached Marina square @ 10pm. Ate BurgerKing before purchasing the tickets for The House. It's another Thai-horror movie, haha..
i know.. the after-effects of Body#19 was horrible, heh.... but The House isnt as bad lar.. though i covered my face for almost half of the show -_-
it's quite shiok watching horror flicks, haha and we love it!

got abit of time to waste and there was nowhere to go since most of the shops were already closed by 11 plus.
left the arcade.
jayen changed 3 bucks for us to play, hehe.

we challenged each other........BUT
i cant aim for god's sake! (actually i couldnt even see where i was shooting -_-)

some very very very very random updates, heee..

was shopping around when i spotted this interesting product from Japan.

thought it was just a normal piece of facial sponge but its price of $8.50 made me want to take a closer look.

Ohh.
it's a Hair Removal Puff!!

salute the japanese to come up with such innovative stuff, haa..
i was so curious to find out how it works, so i bought one to experiment with, hehe...


there are 2 sides to the sponge.

one side is supposed to remove unwanted hair by first 'catching' it and cutting it with the micro particles found in the seemingly smooth pink sheet.

Hmmmm....
By rubbing the sponge in small circular motions like this,

the hair on ur arm gets entangled and gets cut off at the roots. It also proves to remove dead skin cells to reveal smooth skin :D


The other orange side works to even out rough skin and reduces the visibility of pores.
Its surface feels like the Nail-File u use to 'polish' ur nails after filing, heee
-_- abit funny to 'polish ur skin like that.. hmmmm,
anyway,

whatever they have said on the package isnt enough to prove anything..

so..the best is to try it, haaa..

it states there that, "Pressing down on skin too hard or rubbing too slow will lessen hair removal."

i also duno if it's becos i rubbed too hard / too lightly or too slowly -_-

my verdict= Not very effective lar.. cos u duno exactly how much pressure is appropriate, especially if u dont see the hairs being removed. And u end up applying even more pressure...
ScArly u rub too hard and scrape all ur skin off ur arm! HAHa..

think shaving is still faster.

as for lazy me, i think i'ld just leave the hairs alone after all, hahaa
