i'm trying to survive on 20 bucks for the entire week, haaa...
wish me luck!!!!
hehe
anyway, i bought a bag and a pair of heels... cos my white bag's strap was torn and my heel, broke....
so these are necessities! haha..
cheap and good =)

currently into this book..

End time is near.
"And what is prophecy? it is unfulfilled history, but one day all prophecies about the coming of the Lord shall be fulfilled..
and we are the generation that is going to see it happen."
"That if you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." Romans 10:9-10

i love the weather nowadays =)
cooling and it makes sleeping under the cosy covers very shiok, haha..
had a lazy weekend.. but met up with friends to spend the saturday night together =)
went to The Arena @ Clarke Quay..
not too bad a pub, but i guess it's still not my kind of place, heeee...
for live bands, i think i still prefer strictly no-dancing kind... cos it's abit like Dragonfly, except that the songs are in English..
but the best part, there wasnt any cover charge!!

the gals... me, ilane and lala =)

with win standing at the back, haha..

siaolang and his fren joined us after awhile.. keke..
took more photos

left slightly after midnight for some other entertainment.. like cam-whoring? ahaha..

win, lala and myself

decided to adjorn to some other place after that.. suggested going for supper, ktv... and we ended up watching a late-night movie @ Cathay, hehe..
the only show that didn't require us to wait too long, Paprika, a japanese anime!

i kinda dont really understand the story, but i love how creative the producers were.. and the animation was amazing!!
overall, it has got a very 梦幻 feeling though some might think it's just a weird nonsensical show..
but for me, i give a thumb's up for it!

sometimes, i think my kids are very cute.
although it can be quite energy-draining as the job itself demands, the kids sometimes do make my teaching days alot livelier and fun.
ever since the school laid down the rule that any child caught spouting vulgarities in class be brought down to the prinicipal's office, my primary 2 kids have really been cautious with what comes out of their mouths...
moreover, they also tried to 'assist' the teachers by paying very close attention to what their friends say and they jump at every opportunity to get their friends into trouble... -_-
mostly, the complaints i hear from my kids sound like this,
"Teacher!!!" (kid pointing to another classmate) "he said the F-word!"
u know very well what the 'F-word' stands for.. but sometimes, my kids went abit too far... -_-
they have came out with things like the 'S-word', the 'C- word', the 'I-word'...
it definitely left me guessing for a long time what bad words they actually stand for..
realised that words like 'stupid', 'crazy' and 'idiot' have already been categorised under their definition of Vulgarities..
-_-
yesterday was the ultimate..
overheard a conversation between my 2 boys.
boy 1: "ORH HORRRR!!!! u say vulgarities!
boy 2: "What? i never!!"
boy 1: "Got!!!! You just now say the L-word!!!!!!!"
boy 2: "What L-word?!?!?!"
boy 1: "u say 'LAZY'!"
boy 2: "LAZY IS NOT A VULGARITY LARRRR!!!!!!"
i couldnt help but laugh, haha...
so silly one they all
my kids made me laugh again this morning..
remember the old days you were still in primary school where you'ld get freebies whenever you buy a Yakult?
today, they're giving away small keychains with furry chicks in them..keke.. damn cute.
i bought 2! :D

our dear rachel bought 3 of these keychains in the morning and got her friend to crack open the plastic so she could play with the furry chicks..
not long after when i was teaching half way, i saw some yellow fur ''floating' around in the air.. found out that it was the fur of the chick! Gawd! one of my kids actually pulled the fur off it -_-
and one boy was damn cute.. he commented, "Now the chick does not have any fur, it will feel very cold."
LOL
kids are so damn innocent, kekekkekke....

Okay...
time to declare... I'M BROKE OFFICIALLY, hahaa...
time to eat grass
:(
after the last time i did eyelash extensions,
i did eyebrow engraving today, wahahhaaa.....
this time *gulp* the price was almost 10 times more... heeeee...
but this would probably last 2-3 years...
3D eyebrow engraving is a relatively new technology from Japan.. unlike eyebrow embroidery, its colour does not change over time.. it only fades, and all you have to do is to retouch it up :)
there're 2 types of engraving.. one that uses an array of needles to engrave the 'hairs' into the skin; the other, using just one fine needle to engrave. i chose the latter cos the 'hair' strands would be finer and more natural-looking.
this was how my brows look like without drawing with an eyebrow pencil...
almost botak, haaa....

this was after eyebrow engraving...

skin still looks abit red and sore right after the engraving.. but the redness would fade in like a few hours' time, depending on how sensitive your skin is... mine is ultra-sensitive one..
the 'hairs' you see are not my real brows.. they are engraved into the skin using the needle.
This is how engraving is done..
First, they will draw your preferred eyebrow shape on your brow bones... and once u are satisfied with the shape and all, they will proceed to apply anesthesia (numbing cream) over the brows and then, engraving would start.
A fine needle that is dipped in organic ink is used for the incisions that would eventually look like your hair strands. The thought of those strands actually being 'cuts' do freak me out at first.. and still do now, haaa..
but it wasn't at all painful as i thought.. only a slight stinging feeling lingering for the first few hours after engraving..
The whole process takes around 30-40 minutes to complete :)
my freshly engraved brows...

OK, this is damn fugly (i think i look like RU HUA mann-_-)
but at least i know, i dont have to draw my eyebrows anymore, wahahahhaha... and i wont look so 'naked' once my make up is removed, hehe..
cos believe it or not, eyebrows are actually one of the most important features on your face.
better.. (after a day :)

last but not least, as promised,
a photo of me in dat cheongsam on racial harmony day in sch.. cannot see the whole thing,
nehh mind lar hor, heh..

it's wednesday tomolo :(

uber happie!! :)
hehe
today's quite a lucky day for me..
the Science workshop ended late but i still went ahead shopping for a pair of white shoes and sourcing for an ethnic costume at Far East Plaza :)
it's all very last minute..
my current pair of white shoes were so tattered and torn (literally!)
i never had a weakness for shoes, so i would only buy one when i really do not have a choice.. the soles were so worn out that my little last toe was already buah-ing the ground! -_-
cant believe it.. i was so embarrassed to even step into the shop cos i didnt want the salesgirl to laugh at the terrible condition of my shoes.
anyway, i changed into the new pair immediately after that, hehe..
Next was to find an ethnic costume for tomorrow's Racial Harmony Day celebration in school. All teachers were required to wear their traditional clothes and i've already 'reused' my kebaya and the Indian costume umpteen times..
dont be surprised, kids have awfully good memory, they can tell u exactly HOW MANY times u've worn that piece of costume before -_-
so i got myself a cheongsam, yeah!!!!
somemore the shop auntie thought i was a student and she charged me @ a student price of 28 bucks niah!!
hehe... the quality's not bad :)
i chose the black one over the fire-engine red...

dunno why i felt like trying out eyelash perm after that, hehe..
there were a few salons doing it on the 4th level of Far East Plaza.
In the end, i went into one of it and they actually recommended Eyelash Extension..
well, i've heard horrendous stories of girls going for eyelash extensions and ending up with botak eyelids cos their natural lashes got tugged out together with the extensions after a few weeks!!!
>_<
I DUN WANNA THAT TO HAPPEN TO MEEEE!!!!!!!!
anyway, i heard it's very hard to maintain and it's never a wise choice to extend your lashes... the lady boss said it would last around a month only :(
BUT i still went for it!!
i dont care! haaaa.. and she did it for me personally :)
I LOVE THE END RESULTS!!!!!!! Yeahhhhhh!!!!!!
no need draw eyeliner or pile up mascara anymore!!!! YIPEEEEE!!!!!

p.s: these are without any eye make-up at all!!! yeahhhh :D
