the past few entries have been on FOOD, FOOD and MORE FOOD, hahahha....

no, i'm not well still.
i thought i recovered after completing the whole course of antibiotics the doctor prescribed for me.
but ALAS!!!
when i checked my throat with a torch and a mirror on saturday night, i got a rude shock.
There're still a couple of small white ulcer-looking things at my tonsils! =(
it was then when i vowed not to consume anymore heaty stuff... no fried food, no bah gua, no chocolates, not even pineapple tarts.... EAT NO EVIL

went over to aunt's place with my family and THEY WERE ALL HAPPILY MUNCHING THE GOODIES RIGHT INFRONT OF ME! totally oblivious to my 'suffering'..

damn sad.. i can only peel mandarin oranges and eat :(

cousin kaya was even more sad, hahaaa..
cos she was studying for her exams, keke and we were all making so much noise in the living room.
Poor her...hehe

she never really study one la.... look at her notes she wrote...

i added an extra 'link' to the concept map she was doodling on the paper and she didnt even realise it, haaaa


went Sakae Sushi (AGAIN) for dinner!!
aunt treated us cos it was her birthday! HEHE....i love treats :D

the tables at the restuarant were too small to accomodate the nine of us, so the 'children' got the 'priviledge' to sit at a different table, separate from the nagging adults, haaa...

we started cam-whoring, keke..

anyway, we were soooooo boliao that we decided to play with the cucumber shavings -_- after we've finished eating..

he laughed until he choked on his chocolate ice-cream and sent the 'debris' flying all over us!

i admit we did play abit too much but..

but we had a fun time trying to revive what we had been missing out, keke..

sunday again, haaa...

went church with ilane in the morning and she came over to my place for lunchie, haaa...
was a last minute decision so grandma didnt really prepare many dishes, keke.. but luckily, tat girl wasnt too fussy about her food, haa....

dad even served us ice-cream!!! HEHE..

my Saturday was spent with the girls :) at Sakae Sushi Heeren..
von was going to fly back to Aus for her studies today so we had sort of a 'farewell' lunch with her..
she's a scholar okay! haaa..going back to study for her PHD!!! dont play play...

we even had soup of the day and desserts, haaa..
TOTALLY full and satisfied..


a weekend well-spent with frens..
back to MORE WORK tomolo..haiz, haaa

had a long long day in school... was super busy the whole time and i'm tired out!!

u wont believe how busy we could be.. every second was precious cos i had so many piles of books to finish marking in order to return back to the kids for revision. Next week would be their CA1 exams already.
but i couldnt complete my marking!!!! cos had to rush off to another school for a workshop and there wasn't any time at all for me to mark anything :(

had a quick lunch at the kopitiam beside our school before i went with 3 other colleagues to the workshop.. i guessed it must be the bowl of fishball meepok i rushed through, cos i started to feel really queasy in the stomach (all the way up to my chest) after that..
after the workshop at 530pm, i was feeling really really uncomfortable i felt like puking.. one of my colleague very kindly offered me her medicated oil, haaa..felt alittle bit better and i took the bus home.
it got worse throughout the bus ride, plus the motion-sickness which i'm damn 'prone' to. when i got off the bus at my stop, i puked like my whole stomach out -_-
yahh... there wasnt any drain or what around, i just vomitted half of the lunch i ate earlier onto the grass patch -_-

took a few more steps, the second round came... puked the rest of the lunch out, haaa..
yah, im grossing u out i know, but i could see pieces of fishball in my puke, HAHHAHAA..

okay larrr..
enough le, keke..


still feeling abit bloated now.. skipped my dinner.
but an empty stomach would be just nice for tomorrow's lunch out with my galfrens, hehe!

remembered the last time i went was with him too... almost 5 years ago already, haaa.. tat time we just got together only and eveything was still sweet, haaaa..

CNY 初二

i usually prefer the second day to the first day, cos the schedule isnt that tight and every year, we look forward to going my uncle's house, cos it's there where the cousins get together and play, haaa...

my parents suggested going to the Singapore National Museum before going over to my uncle's house =)
cos my mom said it's their open house, so we need not pay, haaa..

i was surprised cos i didnt know the museum had so much to offer and to 'entertain' me with! i seriously thought it was a boring place, but it proved me very wrong!!!

the architechture inside and outside is magnificant, haaa... it's really really beautiful!
we queued up to go into the Singapore History Gallery.
Not many visitors despite being its openhouse, i believe most people like me are still skeptical about the museum being a boring and dull place..
TIME to change ur perception! haaa..

the yellow gadget im holding is actually an 'audio-companion'... every person would be given one before going into the gallery.
and u get to listen and learn about the history of singapore through real-life stories and interviews as u walk through the whole gallery.

i dunno how it works, but from a 'brick-looking' like wall, it can change into a huge screen and u can even see urselves being projected onto it, ahaa.. something like mini lcd screens?? i dunno la.. but we had a fun time fooling ard despite onlookers' stares, haaa.. but they too ended up posing and snapping photos too, keke..

our little 'museum visit' was indeed a refreshing and enriching experience!

hehe.. was too tired to blog last night cos spent the entire day out visiting and spending time with my family =)

the house is neat and clean, full of the festive mood!

grandma prepared mee sua in the morning and after brunch, my parents, brother and i got dressed and off we went to 拜年!
this is the FIRST year we need not take public transport, haaa... cos my bro drove! :D

we went over to velvet while kit proceeded to meet his friends in zouk. we gals were treated to a glass of lychee martini each!! i know i cant mention ur name here, but thank you!!! hhaa..

kiyo + darren joined us shortly afterwards and fang+ me managed to SQUEEZE out more details on how darren proposed to kiyo on vday, WAHAHAHHAHHAHAA.... so sweeet :) hopefully kiyo would blog about the details very very SOON, ahaha... *hint hint*

i love 除夕 more than CNY itself cos my grandma would whip up the most sumptous meal ever every 除夕's night for our reunion dinner!

and it's not just the normal steamboat like everyone else's having but everything is lovingly prepared and deliciously cooked to perfection!!! YUMMY!!!!!!!
and the best of all, feasting together with the people dearest to my heart, my family members! :)
