it's the end of the year.. the last day of 2006

looking back at the past year, it has definitely not been smooth-sailing...especially this period of time...

i know i have to piece together as well as throw away some broken pieces of my life and look forward to the new year with MORE optimism..
but i'm glad to have my family and friends around, never failing to support me.. hehe..thanks alot! even a simple, "hope u're fine liao.." does it perfectly.
i really appreciate it, deep down inside.

i wanted the stylo kind of perm, with higher curls at the back but the stylist heard wrongly, thought i DONT wan higher curls..
now, i end up looking like what i had 2 years ago -_- , except with bigger curls and looser waves :)

2 years ago, they didnt have 'Japanese perm'..


i can also bunch up the 2 sides if i dont wanna look like a dishevelled poodle




who knows i will go straighten my locks after a month if i dont like it, heh...

woke up early on Christmas eve for church service and then for christmasy lunch at a cousin's place with my family.
it was pouring, so instead of going for some shopping @ Tampines Ikea, brother drove us to grandma's house @ killiney for dinner instead.

received a msg from baby asking what i wanted for Christmas. He said he was so so busy with work these few days that he couldnt possibly find time to get me anything. No la..pls dont say u are heartless la, cos heee... i also never get urs, hahhaha.. opps!

Anyway,
by the time we reached grandma's, it was drizzling slightly :) Her place was so near town and since it was rather early for dinner, we went for some shopping!

and i went to find bb @ Heeren!!! hehe..
bought a can of RedBull for him. it's not very good for health i know, but he needs it cos he would be working overnight again since it was christmas eve.
Bought my favourite cup corn tooo!!! hehe..

took the lift up and when the lift door opened, bb was standing right there, just about to enter the same lift to go downstairs over to Meridien!! :D haha..
so lucky so lucky.. or i would have missed him by a second or so :)
we hugged and he wished me a Merry Christmas, hehe... i told him i dont need any christmas pressie cos he's the best present liao, buahaha i'm so mushy but it's true what. i feel happy just to be able to see him :p

went down meridien and back to heeren before my brother rang me asking me to go back grandma's place for dinner...
Even thou' i only got to be with him for a short half and hour, it's enough for me le... hee


after dinner, brother sent me and my parents home before he went ahead with some ex-classmates Christmas countdown BBQ party.
The night was still young, i didn't bother to change out of my clothes so i logged online. Found Lala on Msn. wat was she doing at home on supposedly 'HAPPENING CHRISTMAS EVE'???

i started the conversation..
found out that she was alone and upset cos her ahboy was out wif his frens.. so poor thing, so i suggested going out for some partying ourselves... and to my pleasant surprise, she jumped at the idea, hahahha!
so off we went to Zouk again!!!! buahahhaa...


we were damn early cos we wanted to get the Happy Hours Tickets, but they were sold out when we arrived. sad man.. had to pay the full amount.
anyway, we decided that nothing's gonna spoil our mood for christmas partying!!!!

paid the hefty cover charge, ordered a Screwdriver and a glass of LIT each, sat down @ Phuture and we started our girls' bitching... hahaa... we both had our turns to be Auntie agony for the night.. talked for almost 2 hours before the music became louder and clubbers started to jam-pack the whole of Phuture, together with ocassional 'pops' from the party poppers... so irritating.
but oh well, it's christmas wat... keke

win and his frens were so late lor..came AFTER christmas.. talk about having to countdown -_-

keke.. anyway, we joined him and his friends @ Velvet. (paid 18 bucks more for the 'upgrade' haizz...)
nothing much, just drink, talk, party as usual...

Weekends and it's the festive season!!! Time to go out and have a helluva' good time partying but i know i'll be stuck home during Christmas this year, hee...
festive season means peak period and that translates to baby being extra extra busy working round the clock.. and even though it's saddening to know that the special one wont be able to accompany me during such a special time of the year, i know i have to understand and accomodate to his working schedule..

somehow, i feel that all these things doesnt really bother me as much already... like surprises and all the romantic lovey-dovey stuff.. maybe the wanting eventually just fades away when one grows older? or is it like letting go??
it's abit sad, of cos..
seriously, i dont know if it's good or bad but definitely, i do not wish to be taken granted for like in my past r/s.... please dont let history repeat itself.. please please..
or else my love life would be so sad, haha

I LOVE Bambi Bambi....

there's something about Bambi.. cos it never fails to make me reminise the past when i was still a child in kindergarten. i remember fondly that we would gather at my teacher's feet and she would read us really nice little stories.
i had the Bambi story book with me but being extremely timid, i never did dare ask my teacher to read my book even thou how much i wished she would (cos i dont know how to read on my own -_-)
and one day when i finally plucked up the courage to approach her, she agreed and that was when i heard the most beautiful story ever -->
